Essential for building architecture diagrams for ML/data/software engineering implementations
What do you like best about the product?
Quick and easy to diagram out the flow of data, user journey, or machine learning lifecycle for a project or use-case. Simply drag and drop the appropriate text box or technology logo, connect them together, and you now have something that can facilitate meaningful conversations across stakeholders to drive through uncertainty and varying levels of domain knowledge to deliver a solution.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it can be a little clunky when trying to select an object or link one object to another. I'd also like to see a lot more templates that reflect a wider variety of industry solutions, especially in the data science, data engineering, and machine learning engineering domain.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When working on a new technology solution implementation, it can be challenging to work cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders with varying knowledge levels across domains. Using Lucidshart makes it much easier to discuss a solutions architecture plan - each stakeholder can see how each element fits together as part of the broader implementation.

What do you dislike about the product?
Able to share the read view without provisioning a Lucid license.

Putting different visuals, diagrams for technical solutions on a day to day basis.
Easy, Effective Method of Creating Process Flow Charts
What do you like best about the product?
Lucidchart makes it easy to visualize process & project flows, even for complex processes involving a variety of data types, "sub-processes," and stakeholders.
What do you dislike about the product?
The "click-and-drag" approach to building a flow diagram using the provided Lucidchart symbols is a bit tedious. It would also be helpful if you could resize the various symbols via an automatic functionality instead of manually adjusting each.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucidchart has helped us solve the difficulties involved with creating visual representation of processes - it's easy to type out a process on paper, but only after there's an effective visual in place does that process become easy to follow.
Straightforward Whiteboarding and Diagramming Tool
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate that there are easy-to-use templates for most product and engineering use cases. I also appreciate the multiple share/collaboration options for those in and out of my organization as it makes gathering feedback and presenting much easier to manage.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the better plugins (like Jira) are not intuitive and required someone on my team with significant experience using these tools to figure out. We had hoped these would be more plug and play.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We could not develop a product roadmap that met all the criteria of our stakeholders in any other product. Lucidchart let us have one document be the answer for high level and more granular stakeholders.

The steps is very intuitive. tools are not too complex and transition is smooth.
What do you dislike about the product?
Creating account is mandatory for seeing other people`s work. This should not be this.

Creating charts to share ideas with teams for creating a common ground for all members.

What do you like best about the product?
Lucid chart was helpful in understanding concepts I've worked on and studied in my class . It's also very user friendly to someone who is new to the space.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are no downsides I have faced yet.

arrows are very annoying. adding links is a nightmare.

Drag and drop is amazing. There are so many libraries that I can pull in to add tooling-specific icons to my diagrams.

Lucidchart is best in class and I do not have any complaints

What do you like best about the product?
Lucidchart has helped me get immediate clarity on small-to-medium-sized problems, as I can start a diagram on anything immediately. I also appreciate that I can zoom in and out to any scale I want to focus my attention on any part of the diagram at any level.
What do you dislike about the product?
The arrows/pointers are very hard to work with. Trying to connect objects from one end of the arrow to another takes some time to achieve the result that I actually want, since the expected behavior from interfacing with them is different from the actual behavior.

The ability to share out a diagram you create with a link is powerful.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is sometimes hard to select what you want when you have too many layers.
