Intuitive, web-based option for visualizing information
What do you like best about the product?
I found Lucidchart very intuitive to use - almost no learning curve. There were enough options for me to get started diagramming information without there being so many that I was overwhelmed.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that Lucidchart was able to more easily resize/reformat charts for standard printing size. Sometimes I find myself essentially having to recreate a visualization in order to fit it on an 8.5x11 page.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I needed an easy, visual way to describe proposed processes for reorganizing business functions. Lucidchart's flowchart options made it really straightforward.
Easy To Understand
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use and the pop descriptors make using the software an asset in flowcharting our organization. Providing samples and examples make it easy to view from different perspectives.
What do you dislike about the product?
It isn't easy when adding text boxes, as they appear on different layers and you must ensure the layers are properly aligned. Having all shapes without fill would be beneficial.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucidchart is allowing our organization design flow charts for all our processes which is helping to identify areas for process improvement and lines of responsibilities between team members.
Creating flowcharts and some feedbacks
What do you like best about the product?
It helps create flowcharts of the business processes. It also helps to create user stories for a specific example when you want to transparently convey their whole journey to a client or higher managers.
What do you dislike about the product?
I noticed no option to put a border on the flowchart. If you have created multiple flowcharts and you want to border each and label them, there is no option for doing that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves the problem of creating simple flowcharts of business processes. I have used many applications, but Lucidchart is very easy to use and provides a lot of specifications to make your chart look excellent and robust.

Easy to follow and has helpful tutorials that show step-by-step what each feature does so you're not overwhelmed when using it.
A wide range of colours/designs/shapes that allow me to separate each step of the procedure clearly.

Sometimes the tutorial boxes can get in the way when figuring the features out at your own pace.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Takes the long-winded training packets I create and summarises them into small bite-sized charts that include the key information that helps my staff not feel bombarded with information and increases their retention.
A brilliant tool for creative brainstorming and planning campaigns
What do you like best about the product?
The interface is easy to use and works as I automatically try to use it. It also offers a great range of templates which speed up the brainstorming process allowing more time brainstorming and less time trying to get the system set up.
What do you dislike about the product?
With the vast array of options and flexibility it can sometimes be difficult to keep it organised and a lot of information on one board can make it hard to navigate, but with the tools for presentation mode make this process a lot easier, the training on offer also helps in getting better and keeping myself organised with the tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Effective brainstorming underpins all of our marketing campaign and website projects. Lucidspark has allowed us to collaborate both in the office and remote with our team and our clients, without the need for a complex setup allowing us to spend more time brainstorming and delivering results.
Superior diagramming tool
What do you like best about the product?
I really like how easy and intuitive Lucidchart's interface is. It allows me to quickly set up the general structure of each project without wasting time fiddling with HTML or CSS code that I would need to create a static chart design on my own website. The wide variety of templates available also allows me to explore different design options and configurations without having to worry about manually arranging or editing each element. Even when I use the free version, I find numerous professional-looking examples that inspire my creativity when creating charts for personal projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not like the lack of access to internal diagrams within Lucidchart. Despite the fact that there are a lot of features, but I've only experienced minimal use of them, which makes it difficult for my company to find and use these resources effectively. More accessible tools could greatly improve our experience with this product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucidchart has been a great asset in helping me understand the brainstorming and ideation process. The templates provided make it easy to visualize my strategy concepts, while providing helpful prompts to keep my ideas focused on what's important.
Great tool for creating quick and professional diagrams
What do you like best about the product?
I love the ease of use and the quick ability to make professional-looking diagrams with the style picker. I also find the preset libraries quite extensive, and the ability to load my own is a good touch.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't much that I don't like about Lucidchart. If I had to pick something, I would say there could be some improvement with the flexibility of premade templates. It could be that I don't know how to do it properly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can more easily convey complex technical topics, designs, and architectures to non-technical audiences by using the diagramming tools. People like the simplistic overview without getting too detailed. Lucid is good for that.

What do you like best about the product?
My favorite thing about Lucidspark is its versatility and customization options. It provides a great note-taking experience that is tailored to the way I work, rather than forcing me into a rigid arrangement. Also, its collaboration capabilities are top notch - it allows us to effectively bridge the gap between how we use our own tools and those used by team members around the world. With templates that can be customized to my needs, customizable Post-it note sizes and fonts, and even pre-built connectors for easy document sharing, I don't know what more you could ask for in an app.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do have some reservations about Lucidspark's current features. I think it would be beneficial to implement an Add Column feature for easier table editing, and the ability to embed documents with their previews visible before opening them in a separate window. I also wonder why sticky notes are limited to such small sizes, making it difficult to write out long passages.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was struggling to organize my thoughts for a content marketing strategy presentation. Lucidspark gives me a quick and easy way to create diagrams and mind maps that make the process of understanding complex concepts much easier.
