The best in the business
What do you like best about the product?
Having used lots of flowchart tools, I find Lucidchart head and shoulders above the rest in terms of features, smoothness, ease of use, and collaboration. Apparently simple features like live sharing and automatic 'crop to content' exports when making a PDF really elevate an already powerful tool for building clear and easy-to-understand flowcharts. I have used it for multiple projects working with third parties and Lucidchart is always the way to go for conveying the kind of information I create as a narrative designer.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is very little to dislike about Lucidchart, but some niggles get in the way of a totally easy productive flow sometimes. More powerful tools for selection and moving of existing diagram elements would be welcome, as well as a more user-friendly implementation of the (admittedly useful) theming and template features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As an interactive narrative designer, I have to show stakeholders in my work how multiple outcomes can impact the flow of the rest of the story. Text has always been a tricky medium for this, but custom-making a flowchart for everything is time consuming, and other flowchart tools are not as intuitive, lightweight or cloud-based as Lucidchart.
User friendly, useful but quite expensive for usage
What do you like best about the product?
I thought it was relatively easy to use and especially liked the ability to easily share my documents with colleagues. It's much more intuitive than MS Word which was the product we were using prior to Lucid.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think it could be easier to colour co-ordinate charts. I found editing some templates to be quite difficult. I think the prices could be more competitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows for editing organisational structures really easily. I ended up with three variations and found it especially helpful to not have to repeat things or manuall recreate documentss. It all happens very smoothly.
Useful tool for collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
I found Lucidspark to be a useful tool for collaboration. It is good for brainstorming and ideation sessions.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing major comes to mind. I am happy with the product. One thing to improve could be to add more templates.

It is a good way to collaborate with colleagues and running brainstorming sessions.

What do you dislike about the product?
1. I had to redo some of the work as my work was overwritten when multiple people worked on it.
2. Did not give me the option to download the Visio format (my client had Visio and I had to copy the workflow to draw.io and then download the Visio format)

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are creating a digital mortgage workflow for clients
This workflow can take multiple paths/integrations and with different exceptions and denail scenarios

Excellent product
What do you like best about the product?
I was looking for a flow chart program that was easy to use and affordable. I tried several other options and decided I liked the functionality and ease of use. I am currently using a single license but I anticipate as my company grows that we will move to the multi-user level.
What do you dislike about the product?
I struggle with the chart base, meaning that while it is great to use there is no set desktop to work so you never really get, spacially, how this is going to fit on a page or multiple pages. I may not have used it enough to get this figured out yet but it is a little strange.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I needed an easy to use tool that would allow me to make quick charts as well as complex charts. I think I have found a good product that made it easy for me to create the charts I needed immediately. I am not sharing this with coworkers and we are looking to see if we need the expanded version for our growing company.

- Sluggish during long sessions on large diagrams
- Default box has light blue color and is left-aligned - needs manual adjustment every time a new shape gets added

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Analyze complex and legacy code that requires improvements and debugging. Share the findings with a wider audience with full transparency regarding the likely root causes and potential solutions.
Very comprehensive set of templates and the workspace is very intuitive
What do you like best about the product?
Moving objects around a workspace was really great, with objects easily adjustable. The only software I fould that helped draw PERT charts, and it would be good to see if I could source a Gantt schedule from these diagrams
What do you dislike about the product?
Would like the option of linking data available on an individual plan since I would be the only person editing the data. As it stands now, I would need to create new charts for each funding cycle, and that seems labour intensive to me.

I am a student and also work in the tech industry and have employed Lucidchart in both domains.
What do you like best about the product?
The GUI is very user friendly in how users can simply click and drag elements with the connectors between them automatically resizing. The ability to share my work with others in several formats is also valuable to my workflows.
What do you dislike about the product?
The student license is very limited in how many charts I can make. When I have more than three projects at the same time, it is difficult to have to chose bethween them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Previously, I would have to draw ERDs for school project by hand and making any later modifications usually meant redrawing the entire diagram. Lucidchart solves this problem with its digital drawing that can be changed as much as I'd like. Another problem it sovles is sharing digrams with others since the platform offers several options to do so.
Organise information with Lucidspark's superior system
What do you like best about the product?
I like the diversity and ease of use that Lucidspark offers. The intuitive layout is excellent and allows beginners to pick it up quickly with minimal effort. I'm also no longer restricted by where I work as it's compatible with both Windows and Mac systems - ultimate convenience! But what's even more impressive to me is Lucidspark's ability to facilitate collaboration - whether you need simple diagrams or complex flowcharts to demonstrate your ideas, this service really makes working together towards common goals a breeze.
What do you dislike about the product?
I found Lucidspark's automatic page addition feature clunky and unhelpful. In my experience, it was more of a hassle than a benefit, as I had to reformat the entire document to fit on a single page before printing copies for others. It was also difficult to keep all these pages neatly centred, as there seemed to be far too many for what was needed.

Lucidspark allows me to quickly create and edit complex logic diagrams. The intuitive interface allows me to efficiently create logical flowchart design documents with templated forms - saving me time and resources previously spent on manual diagramming.
