Great RMM for the price

  • April 19, 2023

What do you like best about the product?
The combination of ticketing and patching in one pane of glass...
What do you dislike about the product?
The ticketing lacks checklist functions, however they are working that into the roadmap..
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ninja listens to it's clients and implements updates that cater to those suggestions. Ninja helps us as a single IT employee shop to get twice as much done in the same amount of time.

Great toolset

What do you like best about the product?
Really appreciate the ease of use, it's streamlined our ability to remotely manage endpoints.
What do you dislike about the product?
Currently have issues with super users being able to access information they shouldn't. Support is aware and is supposed to be working on a fix.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Patching was previously very disorganized with our prior toolset, Ninja has helped steamline the process.

It's very user friendly and I love that it makes it easy to remote on.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that I can use my keyboard a lot more than other remote tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that sometimes I have to elevate my permissions up when trying to update a user's machine.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Making remote on a user's machine a lot easier and it makes my work day go by a lot smoother.

What do you like best about the product?
Everything is in one place, setup is relatively simple (even to an RMM virgin like myself)
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't found anything yet that I don't like but I use Eset antivirus and integration could be easier
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Designing a new consumer security tool with ninja as the base

Review of NinjaOne from an IT MSP Professional

  • April 16, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use and setup is what i like most about NinjaOne.
What do you dislike about the product?
Least helpful from NinjaOne is searching real-time activity on a machine in mass.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
NinjaOne is providing Remote Monitoring and Management for our customer workstations and servers. This allows us to manage our customers at Scale

Control your assets like a pro

What do you like best about the product?
Ninja is very easy to use. We were up and running within 1 week with all our endpoints added. Patch management is a breeze, just set up the options and it will take care of the rest.
What do you dislike about the product?
At times Ninja has 3rd party tools that go down and do not work (Splashtop & Teamviewer). But they are very good at proactively keeping us updated on any issues that might arise.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We need a method of insuring all the patches were being pushed out and applied. So far so good. We were able to pin point faulty endpoints that wouldn't update automatically. Reporting was also a breeze, they can be populated in about 30 seconds.

NinjaOne handles all of our automation and patching needs

  • February 21, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
NinjaOne makes automating processes and patching computers a breeze. We always know when there is an issue with a client's computer. We also always know if a patch is missed, the computer has been running for too long with a reboot or any other parameter we setup for monitoring
What do you dislike about the product?
The only real downside of NinjaOne is writing your own policies can be a little difficult. You need to really have a firm grasp on powershell for windows or bash for Macs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
NinjaOne really helps us most with patching windows client computers and with monitoring the computers for any needs, we can see what patches need to be installed and if the computer needs to be rebooted. The other big thing is knowing when computers have been on too long and need to be restarted.

Love Ninja

What do you like best about the product?
The interface is clean and easy to navigate. Administrative tasks, from adding users to creating scripts and scheduled tasks, take minutes to complete, not hours. Devices requiring attention are also a click away from the main dashboard, allowing you to view and address concerns and maintenance problems without the need to dig for information.
What do you dislike about the product?
The app is not responsive to screen sizes. It is designed for desktop use only and does not compensate for smaller screen widths.

The feature roadmap is nice to look at, but it feels more like a way to stonewall requests and encourage users to pick from a set of features rather than a place where the development team goes to get ideas. It would benefit from a search bar and an area where all requests could be seen rather than cherry-picked ideas that look good to the company.

Some integrations require consolidating billing with Ninja. I can easily see the convenience and ease the solution brings, but I wouldn't say I like losing the feeling of control from this model. I like the idea of offering consolidated billing through Ninja, but not as a requirement to integrate services.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I started working at my current company after patching policies were set in our previous RMM tool. The policies hardly worked and created a lot of noise in our ticket queue that went ignored. When we switched to Ninja, policies took less than an hour to set and just worked. There was no fiddling around with testing, trying to dig for problems, or continuous communication with support.

In my opinion, the best bang for your buck in an RMM on the market.

What do you like best about the product?
The best parts about NinjaRMM is the featureset compared tot he pricing.

It's very cheap for what you get.

Their implementation team is very good and helpful during onboarding.

Compared to other products I have tried (Nable, Pulseway, Kaseya) they are a lot more stable, featureset is improving faster and support is excellent.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a bit more customization in the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It makes sure that our small team can support our customers to the best of our ability every day.

We love the way the product work, its fast, its snappy, and it integrates greatly with our PSA.

Ninja is great for constrained staffs

  • December 27, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really like the API availability and the built-in patching mechanism. There are plenty of easy-to-use tools and built-in reports. The ability to extract and relate custom fields to PCs is a huge positive on the NinjaOne platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
At a larger scale, 8000+ managed systems, Ninja can be slow to respond and understand the challenges of my needs as an administrator of such a large fleet. They have been able to address all of my concerns, but it may take an extra conversation or two to get there.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to get better data and business intelligence out of injaOne compared to our last solution. NinjaOne also has significantly less network overhead compared to other tools that we have used in the past.
