Solid RMM Platform
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of deployment, had 80 endpoints rolled out in less than 2 hours
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the script templates need to be reworked for more than 12 character passwords in AD.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ease of pushing out updates / patches, onboarding new pcs is very easy
quick software deployments as well
quick software deployments as well
Great/Fast RMM Platform!
What do you like best about the product?
Zippy web interface and how quickly agents respond to commands.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of my intital support request tickets were a bit slow and took longer than I wished. Still faster than other RMM solutions i've used in the past.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ability to have our own in house RMM production in addition to the one our MSP uses to support us.
NinjaOne
What do you like best about the product?
Patch management is seamless and covers third party applications
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the Support ticket system was more robust.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Endpoint patch management.
Easy Policy Configuration
What do you like best about the product?
I like the way policies are configured for very specific groups of devices. Makes it very easy to discern production systems from other systems. Setup of systems was very easy. We setup all 100+ devices very quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Unfortunately the backup system is not somewhere where we can use it. Without linux support it is not very useful to us.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
NinjaOne is solving patching, and the ability to ensure that all of our workstations and virtual machines are following our machine requirements (i.e anti-virus, encryption, etc.). This makes management of over 100 devices much easier and viewable.
Life is easier at an MSP.
What do you like best about the product?
NinjaOne makes life easier as an MSP because it allows for: Quick Endpoint Managment, plenty of "info at a glance", ease of use when running scripts against multiple devices, and it allows for easy remote management overall.
What do you dislike about the product?
NinjaOne has been pretty good overall. The only issue I sometimes have seen is when the agent will become unresponsive and we have to manually uninstall the agent via PowerShell removal script. Ninja Remote also sometimes has issues with resolution (could just be because the app is still "new" however).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's allowing for device management on a large scale. Making it easy to keep track of endpoints and manage them remotely.
Swiss Army Knife RMM
What do you like best about the product?
Other than having reliable remote access to our devices, Ninja is able to do many things out of the box. It is very intuitive to find the features you are looking for. It offers good automation and basic alerting for our endpoints and we rely upon the patch management features which are quick to setup and require little overhead once done. When we ran into an issue regarding the patch management, I was able to work with customer support to resolve the issue. NinjaOne is one of my few tools that I use daily alongside other tools to accomplish many tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the conditions within the endpoint policies could be expanded to have greater functionality. Alerting for certain programs, as an example, seems to not work very well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Provides a remote management/support tool with many extra features alongside.
Fast and easy implementation
What do you like best about the product?
NinjaOne is easy to setup and use. The price is very competitive. New features are added regularly. We have been using NinjaOne for over 5 years and it has gotten better and better.
What do you dislike about the product?
Would like to see AzureAD management within NinjaOne.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our workforce is completely remote. NinjaOne makes it easy to support our remote users and keep patching up-to-date.
NinjaONE
What do you like best about the product?
I love the patch management feature and remoting software. Work very well, agent is very lightweight. Deploying the product was very easy. Very affordable compared to competitors.
What do you dislike about the product?
User Interface is a bit clunky and unintuitive. Frequently get logged out and SSO functionality is a little clunky as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Remote Control, Patching and updates of endpoints, including internal servers. Monitoring and alerting. Really helps to have all these solutions available through one interface.
NinjaOne Review for Jeff Kirn
What do you like best about the product?
The Dojo, of course! There is much in there that helps with the product!
What do you dislike about the product?
We'd like to see more scheduling options around "Patch Tuesday." Since Microsoft kind of laid down this standard on the specific day new patches are going to be released, then we need to schedule around that specific day on every month, no matter what day that falls on.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is managing our patching for our workstations and servers for now. We haven't tried any of the other solutions NinjaOne offers yet.
What is better about Ninja.
What do you like best about the product?
What sets it apart from other RMMs I've used is the ability to manager services, tasks and files from the UI rather than having to connect in, this saves a ton of time.
I reall enjoy how easy it is to write and push scripts, and how often the patch management just works, and when it rarely needs to be done manually, it's very easy as well.

What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the reporting back on patch failures could have a little more detail. I'm often left with no info on a patch that won't take.
I also wish there was a way to run a report on the performance of specific machines over time. If I need to monitor a machine with reported bad performance I have to do this manually.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's a huge timesaver for checking on specific user's devices, as well as patching.
Overall just a massive improvement over our previous RMM
