Flexible and Powerful RMM with Excellent Support, but a Steep Learning Curve

  • October 17, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
NinjaOne RMM is an impressively flexible platform. After installing the agent, you gain access to detailed information about your devices, and there are several ways to deploy or interact with your machines. The script deployment tool is excellent, and the NinjaOne Remote stands out as the most stable and seamless solution I have used.

It does take some time to become familiar with all the available tools, their features, and the various use cases, but the Ninja Dojo offers a wealth of information to help you learn. The support from NinjaOne is also outstanding. I have had multiple sessions with their engineers, who have guided me through achieving specific tasks.

I particularly appreciate how simple it is to trial new products. You can just toggle them on and start testing right away, without needing to seek approval from anyone.
What do you dislike about the product?
Figuring out where to begin can be challenging, especially with the many different approaches available for managing your devices. Determining the most effective method for your particular platform often involves some trial and error, particularly when it comes to setting up alerts. Certain tasks can also be quite complicated. For example, while you can use a script to interact with the NinjaOne agent and extract specific information to populate custom fields, I found this process to be rather time-consuming. Although the Dojo provided an article on the topic, it was somewhat outdated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Remote access to devices has been a major benefit for me. It enabled me to replace the enterprise version of Teamviewer, and NinjaRemote offers practical tools right from the start, including elevated permission prompts, the ability to lock end user controls, and file transfer capabilities.

NinjaOne also provides valuable reporting information, such as device health and performance metrics across the entire fleet. This has been helpful when supporting business cases for new or replacement devices.

Additionally, I find the software deployment feature very useful, and it operates much faster than InTune in my experience.

Great System Management

  • October 17, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like it's ability to manage systems in the background and the introduction of the integrated AI shows that they are constantly improving the platform. That speaks volumes.
What do you dislike about the product?
The tutorial videos are more commercial than instructional. Often, I have to find a way on my own as a result.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I don't know that I can answer this. For what I use NinjaOne for, there hasn't been too many hiccups. I did like that NinjaOne integrated CrowdStrike which made it easier to install remotely and aids in management.

The best RMM in my opinion.

What do you like best about the product?
Complete control over PCs, and a huge array of useful features. UI is very simple to navigate, new features are explained well and demoed by support regularly. The agent is the best I've come across (after using many in the last 10 years), easy to integrate and deploy in many ways. The ticketing system is incredible, on par with full blown solutions, and they just keep adding new features.
What do you dislike about the product?
Ninja is expensive, however the value for money is there. Plus with new asset management and other features, they are being able to replace existing systems, saving cost.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Oversight into PC usage, with the new 90 day history. Ticketing system which is directly integrated with RMM, makes dealing with user problems much easier.

Powerful Automation and Seamless Remote Management

  • October 17, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The automation capabilities are incredibly powerful. We’ve built a ton of them to handle everything from routine maintenance to custom workflows.
What do you dislike about the product?
The report generation feature is not very intuitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have 30 different office locations, plus remote workers. NinjaOne makes it easy to provide remote assistance to all of our users, regardless of where they are. With automations, we can make configuration changes to all of our 700 endpoints at the click of a button. We love how the custom fields tie into the automation system. Being able to write to custom fields and use them to build dynamic groups gives us a huge amount of flexibility. It lets us adapt our environment and target devices intelligently without any manual intervention.

Easy Setup, but Needs Comment Editing and Time Tracking Options

  • October 17, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
This is probably the easiest service management tool I've used, both in terms of installation and overall usability. The customer support is consistently excellent—they always respond promptly to any issues and provide proper resolutions. Additionally, this tool is very reasonably priced compared to other similar options available.
What do you dislike about the product?
No option to edit comment and add time on tickets.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were searching for a solution that would provide us with the flexibility to manage operating systems, hardware and firmware, as well as software patches and updates, effectively. NinjaOne not only proved to be an effective patching solution, but it also became our ITSM and remote management system. It offers many additional features that we are still exploring, and it has the potential to replace several of our existing tools. That means more savings!

Despite a few challenges with the Windows Update, NinjaOne’s advantages outweigh the drawbacks.

What do you like best about the product?
NInjaOne is a great tool that integrates well with my Intune environment. It enhances system management efficiency and provides valuable access to devices.
What do you dislike about the product?
While many of the parts of Ninajaone are very easy to use, the Windows update system is not very well managed compared to using Intune for this process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
NinjaOne provides cleaner and more reliable application installations compared to other systems.

Efficient IT Management with NinjaOne, but Reporting and Pricing Need Improvement

  • October 16, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
NinjaOne stands out for its clean, intuitive interface and strong automation capabilities that simplify IT management. It offers fast, reliable remote access, powerful patch management across Windows, macOS, and third-party software, and unified endpoint management that reduces tool sprawl. Combined with responsive support and easy onboarding, NinjaOne is valued for being efficient, lightweight, and ideal for streamlining both MSP and in-house IT operations.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some users dislike that NinjaOne’s reporting features are limited and not very customizable. Mac patching and automation can be inconsistent, and pricing is considered high for smaller organizations. While support is generally good, response times can vary, and certain features—like the built-in ticketing system and mobile app—lack the depth and functionality found in other tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
NinjaOne solves key IT management challenges by centralizing monitoring, patching, automation, and remote support into one platform. It reduces the need for multiple tools, streamlines routine maintenance, and helps proactively address issues before they disrupt users. This saves time, improves security through consistent patching, and enhances efficiency by allowing technicians to manage endpoints quickly and remotely—all of which lead to smoother operations and reduced downtime.

Great onboarding and feature rich

  • October 16, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The onboarding process with Shemika Howard was very informative and helpful to show the extent of all Ninja has to offer in terms of features. Without the onboarding, I would have had no clue what 90% of the features were and would have had to figure them out by myself and I am extremely lazy.
What do you dislike about the product?
My biggest issue with ninja is more as an issue with Macs, but the limitations compared to windows machines can be a bit frustrating at times. Since the Mac issue isn't something Ninja can help, another thing I'm not a huge fan of is the new update moving certain features around, but that's just due to comfort and familiarity that I'll get over eventually.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our previous RMM was very sketchy with communication and pulling features without any warning. Not having to worry about being misled or getting proper support in times of stress is a huge relief. I haven't been using ninja for long, but the transition was quick, easy, and painless.
