I am generally please, not sure about how deep JumpCloud can go
What do you like best about the product?
It is pretty cheap and helps me for compliance with ISO 27001. Installation was easy, customer service was very responsive.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't know how I can create custom policies (documentation). Also, don't think JumpCloud policies work well through the warnings I receive. At some points I just cannot resolve the warnings but the results are too cryptic to add on them.

What do you like best about the product?
Provides easy onboarding and feature delivery for managing a fleet of Macs. The benefit for us was the ability to keep our existing device setups without formatting.
Customer support was really helpful with a great technical onboarding call.

The small user plan is no longer available and the device management features are mixed between two plans.

Ease of Integration and implementation, User-Friendly Interface, Cross-Platform Support, Comprehensive Documentation and Support
What do you dislike about the product?
JumpCloud works great for unified user and device management, but I’d like to see more granular reporting and faster real-time syncs with directory changes. Those small gaps sometimes make large-scale administration slower, though the product is improving quickly

JumpCloud provides a unified directory service that allows for centralized management of user identities across various applications and devices. This reduces the complexity of managing multiple user directories and streamlines user provisioning and de-provisioning. Its supports a wide range of operating systems including Windows, macOS, and Linux. This cross-platform compatibility ensures that all devices within an organization.
Multi OS MDM platform with most of available functionalities
What do you like best about the product?
User Friendly, works with the major OS systems, flexible functionality, API, and Great level of Support.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's no dark theme in the system, all the rest looks fine
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Software and configuration deployment. Patching Software and OS updates and restrict apps on the company laptops.
Overall a great alternative to more expensive MDM solutions

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mainly identity management and the ability to provision machines to the organization and manage those machines through JumpCloud.

What do you like best about the product?
Simple management in an easy to use interface. Partners nicely with Google Workspace.
What do you dislike about the product?
Very little to be honest. I feel the team have honed the feature set and the interface is quite slick.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Made iAM management very simple compared to just going it alone with Google Workspace

I can have complete identity management, simplifying access controls and application security.
Streamlined Device Management, Needs Patch Management Refinement
What do you like best about the product?
I like that JumpCloud has been improving their services very quickly over the past year or two that I've been using them. They've added a ton more features, such as shadow IT detection and outside jump call asset management. They've also improved their API significantly with the version two launch and system insight, which has helped us make a lot of automations. These improvements have reduced our workload and the workload of everyone else on the team.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've noticed some issues with patch management. We still have some devices that are on pretty old versions of software, and I don't understand how they're still there when JumpCloud should be enforcing patching.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use JumpCloud to ensure devices are healthy, enforce security policies, streamline onboarding and offboarding, maintain password complexity, and sync profiles. It also prevents device misuse and ensures devices are patched properly.

I find JumpCloud incredibly easy to use. Once I learned how to navigate it, setting up and managing our systems became straightforward and convenient. I appreciate its versatility in allowing us to manage multiple operating systems, including Windows, Mac, and Linux, all from one platform. This cross-platform capability frees our employees to use their preferred systems without any restrictions. Moreover, JumpCloud's comprehensive policy options enable us to handle various administrative tasks without missing a beat, which is important for maintaining continuity across our systems. It's an all-in-one solution for our diverse tech needs, allowing for efficient management of our company's laptops and users. These features have greatly assisted in streamlining our processes.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find it limiting that JumpCloud lacks the capability to directly install or update existing software and view software or currently running processes inside systems.

I use JumpCloud to manage Windows, Mac, and Linux systems seamlessly, allowing users to choose their preferred platform while streamlining management into a single, convenient platform.
