All-in-One Directory Solution with Great Compliance Features
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate that JumpCloud is cloud-based, making it easy to access and manage policies and directories for our devices. The platform's all-in-one nature, including asset management, SaaS management, and reporting tools, is very appealing, as it streamlines our operations and helps us maintain compliance and security. The integration with tools like Greenhouse and Google Workspace enhances our workflow. I find that the ability to push commands to end devices and ensure they are up-to-date, especially with patch management, provides excellent value and efficiency.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think JumpCloud could benefit from offering additional policy options based on specific user bases. For example, having granular control for individual users where one user can access certain drives or folders while another cannot, even if they are using the same device. This would enhance both flexibility and security, offering tailored access policies that differ among users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use JumpCloud for identity management and compliance, keeping devices updated and secure through patch management and policy enforcement, while providing comprehensive reporting and asset management.

Realtime monitoring unlike on premise DNS that your need to join every station on your domain in Jumpcloud you can just install the app on the device and you will see all the info on the Jumpcloud. It is also easy to add user to the device just by binding them unlike in DNS you need to have the user to login for it to create a profile on the device by Jumpcloud it just automatically add the user.
Streamlined Device Management with JumpCloud
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate JumpCloud for its cloud-based architecture, which eliminates the need for on-premise servers, thereby simplifying user and device management across various regulations. This cloud-based approach makes JumpCloud more flexible than traditional directory services. I value how it offers seamless integration with multiple operating systems and applications, including Google Workspace and Microsoft 365, which are essential for our email and productivity needs. I also find user and device management along with security controls to be centralized, which enhances efficiency in granting or removing access during onboarding and offboarding. The platform's ability to reduce human error through its robust device management capabilities and the ease of setting up with a straightforward interface that meets compliance needs impress me. It centralizes user signatures and integrates strong authentication and password policies, crucially reducing unauthorized access risks. Overall, these features make JumpCloud a compelling choice, earning my recommendation with a satisfaction level of about 9 out of 10.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the current reporting and analytics features in JumpCloud, particularly the limitations in monitoring end-user traffic, device picking, and latency. This lack of detailed reporting can hinder auditing processes and notifications.

Cloud Directory and SSO solutions are clear and easy to use
What do you dislike about the product?
The MDM is good, but not as robust or deep as other solutions when compared to Jamf or Addigy

For me, I like in Jumpcloud, It can actively monitor the users and devices information. It's easy to use and operate. I like the best thing in Jumpcloud is the flexibility, It's accessible anytime and anywhere.
What do you dislike about the product?
For me, I don't like about Jumpcloud, It cannot separate device policy to user policy. It can only apply or set policies on the device not on the specific users, so even the local administrator user profile account is affected by the restrictions and It's challenging to configure, isolate and troubleshoot.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jumpcloud is my life saver when tracking and validating devices and users information especially with regards to Asset Management. It's easily to validate the assigned and deployed assets to end users.

Very nice product to centralize IDM and MDM for small and mid size companies
What do you like best about the product?
I live that I can include MDM and IDM in one tool, without having to go the microsoft way. It works great with a diverse pool of devices and is not tied to any of them.
The tool is updated on a constant basis and it is easy to use and to implement.
I have used it both for a company of 150 to a company of 1500, so it scales well.

WE can use one tool to centralize IDM and tie it to the MDM and loging to the machines for windows, mac and Linux. Very easy to manage the devices this way. We are in the process of making it our primary SSO as well.
