Stay secure and organized with JumpCloud.

What do you like best about the product?
What I love most about JumpCloud is that it brings simplicity in managing passwords and identities for my whole organization. The UI/UX is very neat and user-friendly, even a layman can also understand it. I really like how it streamlines access control using SSO and directory services, therefore, making onboarding and offboarding very painless. Also, it plays nicely with our other tools and that autofill feature—total lifesaver, works seamlessly across all browsers and devices.
What do you dislike about the product?
The admin controls need more granularity when managing permissions across user groups. The pricing is a bit steep for small teams/individuals. A more generous free tier would be nice. Besides, sometimes, the browser extension is slow to load or asks for re-authentication too often.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud has helped us solve a problem we had struggled with before – password sprawl, and insecure credential sharing. Instead of sending credentials over chat or storing in spreadsheets, everything is securely stored in encrypted vaults. Better security hygiene when using the platform is possible with strong password generation, 2FA management, and warnings when credentials are compromised.

JumpCloud brought elegant control

What do you like best about the product?
The fact that we have a relatively tumultuous project team and contractors, and they are managed well, is what I admire most. We are able to easily add and remove access to certain applications and resources and this saves us a lot of time and minimises security headaches. It also provides me with a good birds eye view of what people can or can not access throughout our entire online presence making internal audits surprisingly easy to do when you are not an IT sapient.
What do you dislike about the product?
The first configuration of part of our older more niche-oriented on premises design software was a little more jokers than I expected. I also like the standard reporting, but I do not like the lack of ability to create a highly customized historical reports over the specific user activity across multiple applications.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Management of secure environments in our multifaceted client projects used to be an uphill task before JumpCloud. We also had a hodge podge of local logins and manual software setups on each workstation with each new project onboarded being a slow manual task. When now a new project is launched the team members are placed into predetermined groups and their device instantly adopts the required policies and access to specific applications that the project requires. It totally changed the pace at which we were using to get our projects up and running, that used to take days to be ready whereas we only took a few hours now and we could do client work directly after.

My experience with JumpCloud as a systems analyst is excellent so far

What do you like best about the product?
What I like is what actually works, for example, how its changed the ladnscape: having a single source of truth for the entire user lifecycle. It works well, registering new users is fantastic, and you can even manage internal servers with SSH keys. Its ability to deploy security policies across all our devices is what works, and what I like.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are aspects that should be improved, for example, its management model because not everyone gets used to it if they come from another environment like Mac.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The most tangible benefit is centralization and automation. This means we save a lot of time in the unified endpoint and password management process, as well as in the visibility and control of each identity.

Our tangled access issues finally unraveled with JumpCloud's comprehensive directory

What do you like best about the product?
The real-time awareness of who accesses which particular application or server is a big plus. Instead of searching through various systems to identify all the resources allocated to a moving team member, we are just able to identify them within a few seconds. It has even become relatively easy to manage the lifecycle of the accounts of temporary contractors. It avoids the problem of access hitches that had previously been a pain in the neck by continuing access to supplies after a project is completed.
What do you dislike about the product?
At times a quick search needs more clicking than necessary to find the particular definition of a policy amid a number of active ones. I would also like to see more granular role based access controls of IT administrators on the JumpCloud console itself. It is also a bit like a patchwork procedure when it comes to applying a universal setting change to a whole plethora of devices.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our greatest daily headache was to permit access to individual internal custom development environment and lab machines, and not to compromise security. Pre JumpCloud we used a chaotic mix of local users and shared passwords that was a nightmare in regards to compliance and security. And every developer, every lab machine is tagged with its own identity directly connected with JumpCloud. It is this explicit attribution, which has enabled us to audit sensitive project access when we come to security certifications.

Finally, One Login to Rule Them All – Thanks to JumpCloud

What do you like best about the product?
What really stands out to me about JumpCloud is the feeling of relief every morning—logging in just once and having everything ready feels like starting the day without clutter. The browser plugin now fills in what I need like it knows what I'm thinking, and it feels strangely good. I enjoy how the phone app and desktop version work together perfectly. I used to get annoyed when I had to switch between platforms in the middle of a task, but now it just works.
What do you dislike about the product?
The MFA can drive me a bit crazy at times—there have been mornings when the code just wouldn’t work, or it expired faster than I could type it, which feels ridiculous when you're rushing. The initial setup felt like assembling IKEA furniture without the instructions—took longer than I’d hoped, especially compared to Okta that I used before. Also, as someone working in a small company, the pricing sometimes feels like it’s designed more for enterprises than regular teams like mine.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before JumpCloud, my mornings were spent bouncing between apps, logging into seven different tools, and resetting forgotten passwords at least once a week (I wish I was joking). Now, JumpCloud is like a single front door to my workday. I only have to log in once to get to everything, and it's all safe and secure. JumpCloud feels more personal and less "corporate" than my past encounters with Okta. It's like having a security guard that remembers your face instead of asking for your ID every time.

JumpCloud in One console to Rule IT Access Control

  • July 16, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Jumpcloud allows me to manage our user identities, devices and access control from a single access console. We are able to enforce security controls and policies. The ability to push changes and install application in one console. For security standpoint, it is essential for security operations, incident response and audits. Logs can be forwarded to SIEM. Ease of Use, Ease of Implementation, Ease of Integration, Supportability. Accessing the console regularly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Jumpcloud seems has a limited customization and filtering. Also some of the reporting and analytics capabilities, there’s no built-in support for advanced audit reporting, compliance dashboards, or risk scoring.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For security: Identity, access and device management. It benefits me most on the security policy enforcement side.

Reliable, Developer-Friendly Authentication Platform with Hassle-Free Integration

  • July 10, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about JumpCloud (especially through its Okta Auth0 integration) is how seamless and fast it is to implement across our web applications. I personally used its API to build a secure, multi-tenant SaaS platform, and was impressed by how easy it was to set up features like social login, SSO, and biometric authentication. The universal login experience is smooth and intuitive — it felt like I had enterprise-grade security in place within just a couple of days.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only major problem I've seen is with the prices; they might be clearer and easier to scale, especially for smaller teams or new businesses. I also had a small problem setting up SAML for a business client, but the documentation and support team helped me fix it promptly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a robust, scalable authentication solution that could handle multi-factor authentication, SSO, and secure user management across several web apps — JumpCloud (Auth0) delivered that perfectly. Before this, we were spending weeks manually building authentication logic; now, we get it done in days. Compared to building our own auth system or using less flexible alternatives, JumpCloud gives us peace of mind and developer efficiency.

JumpCloud is seriously cutting down on login headaches

  • July 10, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like very much that all these numerous functions are combined in JumpCloud. It has been tremendously useful to be able to manage the users and device policies in one location. As an example, it is terribly easy to now establish access to Slack and our company Wi-Fi on a device of a new employee. It literally makes our life easier as far as our IT management operations are concerned.
What do you dislike about the product?
To be fair, the user interface is sometimes somewhat crusty or too slow to load pages, which is a bit annoying. The reporting capabilities are also relatively primitive and might provide greater level of detail to comply with compliance audit. Sometimes there is a small hitch when certain Mac devices policies fail to work excellently on the initial trial. These are small yet of significance.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We had different user system to manage devices device and application access control. Now we have gotten fully integrated that with JumpCloud and as a result our lives are a lot easier. This is as opposed to the system of hand constructing an engine and configuring to a well assembled unit. Hours of tedious manual configuration was required to bring on board new team members and is now mostly automated and transparent.
