A highly versatile and easy to use, jack-of-all-trades platform

  • December 23, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
JumpCloud is a highly versatile and easy to use jack-of-all-trades platform that I use for a number of things including SSO, MDM, IAM, Cloud ADIUS Auth and more
What do you dislike about the product?
While JumpCloud plugs into a number of things, they fall behind in some key areas including easy to use reporting and analytics, Mac and Linux MDM, and JIT provisioning with vendors.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Even with its quirks, we use JumpCloud to support both ourselves and a number of clients on a daily basis. It serves as our primary cloud interface for SaaS management, MDM and IAM

All-in-One Console Simplifies Identity and Device Management

  • December 22, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
One console for identity, device management, SSO, MFA — no need for separate tools
What do you dislike about the product?
Device management isn't as robust as Intune, Jamf, or Kandji — lacks advanced policies. Built-in reports can be shallow; often need to export or use API for detailed analytics
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud consolidates what used to require 3-4 separate tools — directory, SSO, MDM, and RADIUS. For a small IT team, having everything in one place saves us significant time and reduces complexity

Outstanding Efficiency and Support, Compatible with Multiple Platforms

  • December 22, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that JumpCloud has a very simple use and is very efficient in resource usage on both Windows and Linux machines. Additionally, their support staff has helped us a lot and they respond effectively when tickets or support cases are generated. This makes the process more manageable and efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
It has been observed on some occasions consumption with some versions of Mac OS, which is the operating system of the MacBook Pro or the IMA machines, and yet this has been addressed with the provider and, well, we have worked hand in hand to resolve it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud helps deploy security policies regardless of the team's location. It serves as a model for authentication and management of external teams, facilitating the management of remote teams and simplifying their communication.

All-in-One IT Management Made Simple

  • December 22, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about JumpCloud is that it pulls a lot of the core IT plumbing into one place things like identity, SSO/MFA, and device management, so it’s genuinely simpler to run, especially for small to mid-sized teams with remote or mixed OS environments. I value how well it works across Windows, macOS, and Linux, and that it can replace or reduce reliance on traditional on-prem directory setups without becoming a huge project.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike is mostly around polish and consistency: the UI and workflows can feel a bit clunky, some features are broad but not as deep as should be and you can run into occasional agent or policy-timing quirks that take time to troubleshoot. But overall it’s a strong “do a lot in one platform” option with a few rough edges.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud is mainly solving the “too many tools, too little control” problem across identity and devices. Instead of juggling a directory, separate SSO/MFA, and different device-management approaches for Windows/macOS/Linux, it centralizes user access, authentication and endpoint policy in one place. That benefits me by tightening security (consistent MFA, least-privilege access, faster offboarding), reducing admin overhead (one console, fewer integrations to babysit), and making onboarding/offboarding much faster and more reliable.

What do you dislike about the product?
the limitation on some new EDR software like Sangfor
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our Endpoint integration thru Softwre management had some issues for deployment but they were able to help us resolve it.

What do you like best about the product?
Asset management is the best part of JumpCloud as it helps me see all my organization's inventory in one place. I like that it allows me to manage identity, device, and application access all in a single console. The initial setup was really easy, making it convenient to get started.
What do you dislike about the product?
The security part is missing in the JumpCloud portfolio.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud helps us manage identity, device, and application access in one single console, with great asset management to see all our organization inventory in one place.

I like best about JumpCloud is how it brings identity, device, and access management into one unified platform
What do you dislike about the product?

Effortlessly Manage with Enhanced Integration

  • December 20, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that JumpCloud has remote assist for users, making it easier for us compared to previous tools. It's great how we can do everything within JumpCloud now, like automating the password manager installation and requests with commands, and integrating it with our ticketing system. Everything is automated, which is super helpful. JumpCloud's ability to integrate with many apps simplifies managing access and automating access requests through automation tools. Plus, setting up JumpCloud was simple and easy, which was a nice surprise.
What do you dislike about the product?
As SSO is integrated, I am hoping to see the user access matrix or RBAC, IGA features. It would make it easier for us to do the audit.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud simplifies endpoint management, centralizes access through SSO, and integrates apps for easy management. It automates password management and integrates with our ticketing system, making processes more efficient.

Managing employee accounts and devices is finally super simple

  • December 15, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The thing that impresses the most about JumpCloud is the level of confidence it offers to our internal operations. I ceased to be afraid of access oldness or lost accounts. This has enhanced the working relationship with HR and management since everybody is assured that changes are being administered appropriately. My days at the workplace are more consistent and I am not spending as much time rectifying issues that can be avoided. It has become a stable basis on which we are operating employees.
What do you dislike about the product?
A disadvantage of JumpCloud is time taken to master some of the configuration options. Certain features are buried and this contributed to trial and error in the process of setting them up. This added workload on deployment and had to be coordinated internally more. Another concern that came up was the increasing price when our team grew and this burdened IT budgeting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud is a solution to the scattered access management issue. User accounts and devices used to be separated beforehand and this led to delays and errors. Everything is now handled in a clear process and the changes in employees are also dealt with shortly. This is good in that it minimizes business downtime and gives the business more trust internally. My day-to-day job is more organized and less responsive.
