Great all cloud solution
What do you like best about the product?
Not requiring an AD server and replication services.
What do you dislike about the product?
Requiring a long list of local accounts on windows PCs for each person authorized to sign in.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We wanted to get rid of our servers and replication issues.
Very good solution for experts and novices alike
What do you like best about the product?
I like that it is cloud based. It is very easy to use. I also like that you can use it for free with a limited number of people. We have a small office and it is a great alternative to an active directory server.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing really to dislike. I would like to see more integrations with API. There are still a few programs that it does not integrate with.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed an active directory type solution for all of the computers and laptops that our company has but we didn't want to pay for an onsite server to run the active directory. It has also made it very easy to onboard new employees and deactivate user rights for old employees after they leave.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try everything on yourself as one user before emplomenting to whole team. Also spend time showing your team how everything works and why it's best so that they will embrace the change.

The ability to coordinate logins from an admin portal is phenomenal

There's little to dislike, the functionality is great. Maybe more support documentation?

great SSO connectivity of huge variaty of different cloud service in the same authentication.

Perhaps some of SSO configurations with some cloud services are not simply for newbies -> there are great guides in jumpcloud.com
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
SSO connectivity with c´different cloud services and local NAS
Super easy to use, implement and in the right price range
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to create a cloud based directory for smaller clients that do not have the infrastructure. This has made managing workgroup systems and macs much simpler
What do you dislike about the product?
Price point is a little high in my opinion compared to the big SSO providers. All or nothing approach. I would like to see more of a la carte model that would allow you to keep your costs down as much as possible while still allowing you to choose the feature-sets that you want/need.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This allow us to reduce expensive hardware/infrastucture costs for our clients while still being able to provide almost the same level of granular access and policy control for users and systems. This also reduces the amount of time we spend logging into multiple systems and multiple interfaces just to be able to manage usernames and passwords. Not to mention it reduces our time spent on password resets since our users can now help themselves.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Look at this if you want a tool that will not only authenticate your applications in the cloud, but also your local systems. A simple agent installation ties your systems directly to the cloud directory and allows you to start using Jumcloud credentials to login to your Windows, Mac or Linux systems. This has made managing workgroup or dissimilar systems and credentials much easier for my team. If you do your homework, there is not another tool out there from any of the major providers yet, that allows for an agent based installation to tie in your systems logins. This is what ultimately sold us on the product.

What do you like best about the product?
Mac support hands down. I can control all mac and Linux computers with my clients with ease.
What do you dislike about the product?
I use jumpcloud for the basics so not much
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Controlling access to Mac computers and I can easily lock people out when they get stolen or missing

Great for non windows mobile users

For the moment, I avoid buying a server and all the technical support is wagging

Great workgroup managability
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to manage a small workgroup and how it syncs with gsuite and O365 for a seamless point of management
What do you dislike about the product?
After initial setup getting the end user to read the email and finish the activation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solving manageability with workgroups by syncing either O365 or gsuite and having one password across the board.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Jumpcloud is a great service when syncing and integrating within a workgroup. Single point of management makes it easier as an IT professional.

What do you like best about the product?
Central control of Mac infrastructure and user control. We like to be able to encrypt disks and have the keys in one location. Ease of on boarding existing and new users.
What do you dislike about the product?
No default password reset for machines. Need to run script to reset password. More basic functionality required

Central management of users and devices. Loading a new machine and assigning users to it with and Admin user

I would really advise using Jumpcloud for its simplicity and ease of deployment
