Easy and cloudbased configuration, no on prem infra needed
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing really based on my test ing so far
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Variety of deployment needs including user level specific setups and access
Remote access on steroids!
What do you like best about the product?
JumpCloud has provided our staff with multiple ways to authentic to their accounts, whether network logon, Google access or wireless connectivity. This has been a solid investment where all of our staff feels customized support geared toward their specific needs. Absolutely the best!
What do you dislike about the product?
Would love if they had 24/7 customer service support. Otherwise nothing to speak of.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main problem used to be offsite network authentication: User logon accounts would expire and need to be changed on the network for it to replicate between system and local account. JumpCloud has enabled cloud based network authentication which has resolved that issue.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Give it a shot! You wont be upset!
A great alternative to Intune
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to manage a variety of devices and SAAS services and enabled everyone to have one logon for work.
What do you dislike about the product?
Automatic software deployment is not always easy if the package you want is not in the chocolatey repo. Fortunately, most of ours is!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It provides an easy way to give people just the access they need to do their job and setting up standard software and settings for people. We are currently reimplementing and improving our jumpcloud config with all we've learned about it over the last few years.
Easy to use UI and reliable endpoint management
What do you like best about the product?
With coding experience, Commands is fantastic - pop all your machines in one group along with commands, run it, and it works like a breeze.
The integration of VPP is also fantastic. A remote employee can be sent a machine straight from Apple, create their new mac account and start using the apps they need for their role with no touch from us.

What do you dislike about the product?
Limitations include the ability to incorporate mobiles like iOS and Android. We have a large fleet, and we need to separate capabilities for this amongst MDM platforms.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We've realized we can also integrate RADIUS and WIFI requirements direct onto the machines. TOTP is another huge benefit for us.
JumpCloud Small Business Deployment
What do you like best about the product?
The JumpCloud Radius as a Service feature allows me to secure Wi-Fi authentication with WPA2 Enterprise Security and certificates without the need of an on-premises RADIUS server to manage. Users only have to manage a single set of credentials. OS Agnostic Directory as a Service to enable Single-Sign-On is pretty sweet!
What do you dislike about the product?
The ability to push AD GPO-like policies doesn't seem to be there yet. The ability to push a firewall SSL certificate into a client's trusted certificate store would be helpful for SSL inspection.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
RADUIS as a Service for WiFi Authentication and WPA2 Enterprise Security
Recommendations to others considering the product:
JumpCloud has a lot of potential. It's not an enterprise-class directory service yet. However, if you're not a big Microsoft shop running on-prem AD servers and AzureAD it's definitely worth a look.
Securing wifi even easier
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of integration
Simplicity to add enterprise authentication to wifi deployment
Easy management of identities

Easy management of identities
What do you dislike about the product?
Would like more radius pops - ideally closer to my region
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Wifi access and identity management
Management from anywhere
Management from anywhere
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Definitely would consider Jumpcloud if looking to manage identity and not looking for the overhead of on prem or other more expensive solutions.
JumpCloud makes management of my users and devices significantly easier than with our old AD setup.
What do you like best about the product?
System insights, SSO, and configurations
What do you dislike about the product?
I have SPs that do not integrate natively with SSO.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Migrate to an easy-to-manage directory and out of an old AD infrastructure and improve security via directory insights and SSO.
Jumpcloud makes SSO manageable for smaller companies
What do you like best about the product?
I love that there are no servers to manage, update or create. It's a true SaSS solution. I like the advanced features such as MFA enforcement policies
The pricing for small companies is really attractive. It helps getting started on the right foot from the get go

What do you dislike about the product?
* Lack of multiple Assertion Consumer Service (ACS) URLs. Because of that we have duplicates in connections for users
* Lack of ability to hide some applications from the Web Portal for users (some applications need auth to be initiated from the app and not JumpCloud, therefore people cannot click on those apps on the JumpCloud portal)
* Lack of ability to hide some applications from the Web Portal for users (some applications need auth to be initiated from the app and not JumpCloud, therefore people cannot click on those apps on the JumpCloud portal)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing user access centrally to easily onboard/offboard team members
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Start small and implement JumpCloud is a service that hasn't been distributed yet, so that people think JumpCloud is the usual way of authenticating. Once this is successful, you can add more software to it since the organization is already familiar with JumpCloud

Cloud Based AD with lots of functions...
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I feel like it is still a work in progress
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
No need for servers on premises.
