Simple, but Effective

  • July 20, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Jumpcloud had all the features I wanted (and more!) and the documentation and interface made it so easy!
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think of anything to add here - it worked really well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I had users in several systems and they were hard to manage. JumpCloud brought them all together AND provided plugins for SSO into my other products.

What do you like best about the product?
The terminal used from the console, it's very powerful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Linux policies aren't enough for managing the devices
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing Linux devices

    Education Management

Solid offering with consistent improvement

What do you like best about the product?
Management is easy and fairly robust. Anyone could get things running and centralize the management of devices and accounts. The JumpCloud team is moving in the right direction and regularly adding stability and new features. Many learning resources are available to get started or learn new aspects of the system. Their support team is responsive and helpful. They have an excellent policy for trying out new aspects of the system before paying to upgrade. This lets you evaluate if the features are worth it to your organization without financial pressure. ajwepofj awoj faowpje fawe jfawjefopjaweofj aweofj paowej fo awefpoajwepofj awoejfpoawje fpoajwepof jaopwe jfoaj wepf
What do you dislike about the product?
Some features do not work reliably. For example, Apple automated device enrollment does not always cause the device to require the JumpCloud login to complete the initial setup. There are a few features that would make our lives a lot easier which have not been implemented, such as allowing for network-based trust for computer MFA. There is also no way to require MFA for particular users across all devices they interact with. This is instead handled at the devices level.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JumpCloud lets us keep track of device status, roll out policies and software, and manage accounts and SSO. Integration into our existing workflows has been straightforward. We have been able to consolidate management of the many different systems we use, including Windows, Mac, and Linux devices. The different options for deployment have allowed us to roll out to devices that are already in the field. We have been able to roll out software based on device or user groups.

Simple and user friendly interface to create custom app for SSO

  • July 20, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It has lots of pre-built apps available for SSO in its marketplace. Also for not-so-generic tools, it provides a very user-friendly interface for custom app creation.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing much to dislike, but if more and more tools are added to the marketplace then it would increase the acceptance of Jumpcloud. The Jumpcloud team should be more than eager to partner with new companies and startups to add their tools in their apps pace
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jumpcloud helps in SSO for users to login into my company Mindtickle. We have recently seen a rise in our customers using Jumpcloud as their IdP for SSO and user management. The simple and easy to use interface makes it wonderful to integrate with Mindtickle with Jumpcloud for SSO needs

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to set up Single Sing on with a wide range of activities and improve user workflow.
What do you dislike about the product?
The lack of granularity in functions such as disabling federations for a single account within the instance.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have joined Jump cloud to test SSO capabilities for the Software Company I support and I have been loving it

Better than an IT department

  • July 20, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
We were able to implement SSO, provisioning and access control and Apple MDM all without having an IT department. After some setup and config even non-technical users could onboard new employees, assign them credentials and a MacBook and give them access to the online services they needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes when MDM commands fail it can be tricky to troubleshoot. The support team is always great but I'd love some more tools to help figure it out without needing to bug them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows us to easily onboard and unboard employees without a team of people provisioning accounts.

Perfect to manage assets in a remote work environment. Very customizable for Microsoft and Apple.

What do you like best about the product?
Able to run commands with no interruption to co-worker's workflow
What do you dislike about the product?
Not a clean UI, many menus are redundant for managing users and devices. Would perform a simple one-click option for setting up new users
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asset tracking and troubleshooting remotely

Powerful, Affordable, and easy to use

  • July 20, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
My personal favorite feature would have to be the User Interface layout. As someone who is fairly new to the industry, it can be easy to get overwhelmed when using new webapps with a clunky GUI. Jumpcloud definitely has an intuitive layout. On top of that, they continue to listen to customer feedback and add new features.
What do you dislike about the product?
As time goes on it's harder and harder to find anything that I'm not a big fan of. The main issue is the often outages. While they aren't super often, they are still annoying at times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The upcoming mobile app will benefit me quite a bit. It will be an enormous help with adding or deactivating user or device groups while not at my desk. Managing our userbase on business trips will be a breeze now.

A great software which is only getting better

  • July 20, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It's a great central hub for user and device management.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a lot of features that still need to be built we'd love to replace more of our automation software with it but it's not ready yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows us to use simple scripts to roll out or remove software from devices which saves us the time of having to schedule a meeting with a user and see if our remote access software is broken that day or not.

Easy to use

  • July 20, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
ability to quickly add and remove users with a few clicks
What do you dislike about the product?
Inability to lock out phones is my primary issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Faster deployment
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would probably not sign up for anticipated users up front and instead add and pay by the user as it takes some time to migrate everyone.
