Worries-free user management
What do you like best about the product?
The introduction of JumpCloud in a small company like mine, where IT management is only a marginal part of my activities, has allowed me to free up a lot of time from user management operations at the domain level. The benefit was immediate and the product implementation was enthusiastically received by the whole company
What do you dislike about the product?
Many look at the cloud and SaaS with great distrust, considering the fact that you don't have total ownership over the data. Although this is partly acceptable, it doesn't worry me much, having total trust in the provider.
Furthermore, with the support of the API, there is no lock-in, which occurs with the use of many other technologies.

Even with a numerically reduced team, the management of shared resources and utilities had become a problem. Now, with managed accounts, we have totally revolutionized all our services, implementing, according to our needs, login via LDAP, SSO or OpenID.

Managing your DataProjects has never been easier. JumpCloud has you covered!
What do you like best about the product?
At this moment, I use Jumpcloud to manage my current machines and some client machines. It includes a Windows, Mac and Linux machine, which integrates very well with Jumpcloud.
Running commands from one location and managing software is a breeze. Current clients are also included in Jumpcloud, which makes their workflow and security easier.
Especially the Linux machine needs a lot of maintenance, which is something I do for the user, as they are not as tech-savvy.
Also, the SSO features help to secure the machines a lot better, as they contain important client data. (Administration and finances).

At this moment, Jumpcloud works for my current needs. I have not found any missing features, so there is not that much to dislike.
Maybe the mobile app could add some more features for administrators.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Jumpcloud, I can help my clients to manage their computers. They have a safer experience in general, and I can help them with their secure login while doing basic maintenance on their machines. Especially the Linux machine needs a lot of extra work, which the current user is not always able to do, so Jumpcloud helps them to keep it running perfectly.

What do you like best about the product?
It's been great to use for nondomain joined computers that we need to manage. It makes a workgroup setup to be centrally managed with policy enforcement. It's easy to setup the sync with the users and their Google Workspace or M365 accounts making the user experience more seamless. It is easy to setup and install on a computer using your RMM tool of choice. We use it every day internally and for selected customers.
What do you dislike about the product?
Using a service such as JumpCloud can also be a single point of failure. They have not had many problems, but no company is fault free. There have been a couple of times when users could not authenticate because of trouble on the JC side. The issues were usually fixed within a reasonable time, or we could work around the issue by temporarily disabling it. All in all, it using JC has been a positive experience.
