Smartsheet real time update for teams report
What do you like best about the product?
A functional software for a real time that helps in the status of a certain projects. You can easily check the status since data are there already. User-friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes difficult to open the website. There are certain limitations on rows and columns. By adding different tools as a choice for more visualization may help.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Project or data collaboration on different trades. With a good internet access, you can connect easily on the website. Check status on a certain project for updates.
smartsheet -- your complicated friend
What do you like best about the product?
I've come to appreciate smartsheet for project plans (incl. the ability to include due dates and assign tasks to colleagues) and online surveys, which are great to be abel to download into a spreadsheet.
What do you dislike about the product?
moving rows and columns around gets a little clunky. I wish I could grab a line and move them around. Everything seems to involve multiple steps which aren't always intuitive. When I can spend the time to figure something out, it works great--but I don't always have the time and I end up giving up on features that I think could be helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
i get a lot of value out of the surveys. I particularly like how the questions can be customized (i.e. short or long text fields, drop-down selections, and additional questions contingent on the answer to other questions).
Great tool for managing projects, bear in mind this is not a Portfolio tool
What do you like best about the product?
Simplicity in ensuring all key project control data is stored and updated in one tool and easily change views of the data. Can easily @people to get things done or updated, excellent view of historical changes and ability to bring progress to virtual meetings.
What do you dislike about the product?
The ability to report progress against multiple projects that form a Programme or bring seperate programmes together in one dashboard is really tricky and actually not worth the effort of doing this in smartsheet. We at NHS Property Services have utilised a PowerBI developer to create Programme dahsboards that pull this data into a pack that works for senior stakeholders.

It is a very user-friendly project management tool that enables corporates to keep track of every project easily, helpful with preparing reports to use for business development
What do you dislike about the product?
Although it is a user-friendly tool, there are many things that a user must know to get maximum efficiency.
Despite there being a Smartsheet university to learn about many things, it is expensive to get one-to-one help to create custom solutions

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The different project requires different project managers, but all the work are done by same workshops. It is really important to make a plan to decrease conflict in workshops to decrease the lost of time
Using Smartsheet for about six months now for Project Management
What do you like best about the product?
I used to work with Microsoft Project and switched to Smartsheet about six months ago. I find it very easy to use compared to MS Project. It is user-friendly. I haven't had any training, and I think it is a great and easy tool for tracking project progress.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think of any significant downsides, it provides me with all the tools I need to track progress across projects. It has only been six months, so maybe I will find issues later, but so far, so good!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet is helping me create project schedules. I can then assign resources to each project task and regularly review schedules to track project progression.
Helpful tool - could function more like Excel

I love the collaboration aspect within Smartsheet - easy to share the smartsheet and have multiple users track inputs & progress

I wish Smartsheet sticky keys functioned more similarly to excel - if we could have the ALT keys function more similarly, that'd be awesome!

Smartsheet is helping us project manage especially for collaborative projects with multiple stakeholders - helping us keep organized
Powerful with limitations
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is a very powerful tool with a wide range of functionalities. The help resources like Smartsheet University and the online forums are extremely useful. It is invaluable to share access to a Smartsheet with a non-licensed user and have them receive email notifications and interact with sheets.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are limitations to the tool that have impacted my ability to implement it in certain ways. The major limitation is that you cannot automate the creation of hierarchies within or across sheets. This impacts my ability to track long-living projects with differing parameters without creating hundreds of separate sheets for each project.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cross-functional communication, information parity, and documentation are a few of the significant problems Smarsheet helps my organization solve. Our ability to react quickly and avoid mistakes has increased.
A great platform, I could just use some more training
What do you like best about the product?
I like the multitude of tools that smartsheet offers. It helps with project management, task assignment, customer communications, and overall organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't know if the platform has kinks to work out or if I just wasn't given enough training, but there are functionalities that I still don't know how to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a company-wide problem of task assignment and accountability. Smartsheet helps us to stay organize and makes sure things don't fall through the cracks.
Improving product, too expensive.
What do you like best about the product?
SmartSheet is great for using it as a hub for the company and tracking processes. We used it to aggregate information, track client interactions and weekly updates, track employee time and vacation tracking, and distribute weekly assignments. Most importantly, it worked great for scheduling the workstreams for a project and assigning time values to them to ensure we stayed on track for client deliverables.
What do you dislike about the product?
The product felt basic in terms of outputs and visualizations. The price did not justify the value we received for the things my company was using it for. More depth was needed in creating workflows and being more interactive for users involved in the process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problems were scoping a case and tracking progress while multiple projects were underway. Smartsheet's tool made it easy to follow which projects had kicked off, what stage they were in, and flag any roadblocks. This laid it out for the entire team and made sure high priority issues were handled.

Smartsheet's best features include the capability to assign projects to users and provide a comprehensive project overview. When a ticket is received, Smartsheet intelligently identifies the appropriate users to assign the project to.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the product excels in project-based ticket management, it falls short in comparison to other competitors when it comes to the ticketing system setup. It may not be the optimal choice for tracking daily tickets, which is an area where improvements could be made.
