Smartsheet is Good For Team Collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
I like being able to customize our tracking spreadsheets so that they make the most sense to our team and communicate clearly at a glance. I also like the ability to send form responses directly into a shared smartsheet that can be added onto from both the form and the spreadsheet view.
What do you dislike about the product?
Smartsheet has a lot of functionality, but learning to use it fully is hard to do when you don't have time to dedicate to it. You can learn the intitial functions quickly and easily to get use out of the product, but there is a time investment to learning it in full that is difficult for most busy employees to devote.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet helps us keep track of participant progress through the application and pre-departure cycle in a visually clear way. We also use smartsheet to keep track of information related to 20+ different programs throughout the year. When we need to collaborate on a project as a team, we generally will use some function in Smartsheet to do it.
Building trackers for Implementation Processes
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to use, very easy to set up a fairly complicated tracker within a very short time. Many of the built in features like contact columns work very well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Being so easy to use does not allow for some more complicated features, I have had a few ideas that have not been possible to implement due to lack of functionality
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am using Smartsheets to track the implementation of over 50 large multi family properties each month into our automated Billing System, the collaboration smartsheets enables is perfect for our implementations team to track the progress of each property.
Smartsheet is just a smart excel sheet
What do you like best about the product?
Some smart portion that you need typically to program on Excel BI to generate functions similar to Google Gorm. There is also a database that you can collect the submitted documents, e.g., BOM, Delivery Order, Pick Ticket.
What do you dislike about the product?
Everything still needs to be maintained manually, especially when checking and changing the status of certain projects. It seems like it is a Excel sheet with fancy functions, but not really interactive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We used SmartSheet like a Google Form that we can collect all tasks information and read in an Excel-like page. It's good to consolidate all information, but it is also time-consuming to read thousands of different line and change status manually

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to organize information / timelines.
What do you dislike about the product?
No real note-taking feature that supports my meetings. The UI / UX creating a dashboard is awful. It is the most annoying this to set up.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet allows easier organization of portfolios and generation of metrics behind it. It made it easier to communicate routine processes / tasks. We have more efficient meetings since we just load up a tracker review and move forward.
Journey of project management made easier with Smartsheet
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is really effective when it comes to managing projects. The way it helps us handle complicated workflows and create in-depth timelines and project plans is really impressive. With its help, we've been able to make our projects run smoother, plan them better, and get a lot more done in the same amount of time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Despite the vast array of features Smartsheet offers, its interface can come off as rather daunting to those unacquainted with the software. It is my belief that adopting a more intuitive design could make the software more user-friendly, thus significantly enhancing the overall user experience, especially for those just getting started with the tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet really helps us with a lot of the problems that we face when we're managing projects. It has a bunch of tools for managing work and sharing documents that have let us get better at dividing up tasks and working together. This has made a big difference in our productivity and made us a lot more efficient.

Smartsheet’s user interface leaves a bit to be desired in terms of intuitiveness, especially for new users. Moreover, while its reporting capabilities are decent, they could use some enhancements for more comprehensive analysis.

Considering a dependable project management tool, Smartsheet is worth a look. However, be prepared to spend some time getting used to its user interface. Also, while its reporting capabilities are satisfactory, don't expect the same depth of analysis as some more specialized tools offer.
Smart and Effective
What do you like best about the product?
I love how it saves me time when all I need to do is upload my tasks and it gets sent to my VA. I only use it for some simple processes, but the fact I can take that time out of my calendar is perfect.
What do you dislike about the product?
It often takes a long time to load and I'm not too sure why that is.
I also struggle to understand the 'permissions' I'm giving people when they fill in the spreadsheet I created. Some people access it fine, while others need my permission and then it says I have exceeded my limit.

Its solving the problem of time.
It is super effective for me to upload documents and descriptions of tasks to me VA. It's allowing me to be more productive and efficient with my time.

Great Product, But Needs Some Updates
What do you like best about the product?
I like the functionality of SmartSheet. The way it helps me keep track of project milestones and team collaboration is great.
What do you dislike about the product?
You cannot have the parent line in a task be included in the email update request which is frustrating and means you always have to go back to the sheet and line to see what the task is associated with. I and other users have reported this issue to SmartSheet, but they have over and over again declined to take on the work to make this possible.

It is solving having to track dates in excel or Outlook

Smartsheet can be helpful when multiple users need to collaborate and update dates and statuses in project plans that can then be summarized and consoldated into dashboards.
What do you dislike about the product?
Users are pushed to purchase additional licenses when in most cases, they really should not need them. As a result, costs can quickly add up unless closely managed.

Smartsheet allows multiple team members and project managers update the status of their tasks interactively, eliminating the need for a single project manager to have to do the data entry for the projects. The information is then automatically consolidated into project and program dashboards.
