Easy and collaborative Program Management
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet allows me to manage internal and external resources with project planning, reporting and dashboards for viewability. The ease of moving between plan views for collaborative and comprehensive planning with multiple audiences is extraordinary; and sharing plans, documents and providing alerts makes things super easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI can be cumbersome and setting up dashboards to provide specific views of reports is administratively heavy. I initially thought that ease of use with links and shared tasks/resources would be more seamless, but I find that maintaining and tracking in 2 locations is still a frequent occurence. Could be a training issue as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collaboration and sharing of plans and governance docs is critical for our team. View licenses are critical to providing consistent look and feel, and makes things super easy when assigning tasks and actions to internal AND external resources.
Great activity tracker
What do you like best about the product?
Is great that you have a conversation tool embeded on the same row that you are working on, always easy to clarify any issue ore misunderstanding by another member of your team, without the need to rely in other ways of communication, everything on the same spot
What do you dislike about the product?
at this point I couldnt say there is someting to dislike about the tool, so far every encounter that I hav e had with it it has been usufull, there is always a new function to discover
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Have everything on the same space, easy to track evidence, provide direction and send reminders to my team members when some action requieres atention with in the same row is awesome, love it
Powefull tool
What do you like best about the product?
The fact that you can create forms that help you feed information on the spreadsheet is really helpful, makes user friendly a lot of the process that we have to work on.
What do you dislike about the product?
Automation sometimes is hard to undestand, nevertheless once you get it, is really cool all the things that you can trigger, and how you can combine a los of information.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Help track changes done, thru feeding information in forms created, triggering automations to get information to feed to other plataforms, short description...time saver.
More than an your usual Excel sheet
What do you like best about the product?
Multiple user can interact at the same time on the file you are working, that is a feature that you can really take advantage of, I have created a lot of files like this and has been really helpfull.
What do you dislike about the product?
Because you are so used to have text edit capabillities in other softwares, sometimes you would spect that you would be able to do than smartsheet but you can't, is weird...due all the tools already has, you would spec you could use bold text and normal in the same cell...but you cant
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping track of all the activities my staff is working in real time, status, delivery dates, reason of changes on our jobs, and that is only one of the sheets that I use daily
Flexible date based views for project planning
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to see tasks and subtasks on again, so calendar view is crucial to our ability to plan projects. We use a per roll estimated time frames to compose a full timeline for each task.This shows individual role allocation across many tasks and you can see where you might have a conflict in the future or where are you may have dead times for a certain role on a project team.
What do you dislike about the product?
One feature we would love to see given our usage is the ability to assign per role an allocation, like 50% allocated so whatever you estimate days becomes doubled across the actual calendar view like it is recorded in our accounting systems. This would allow us to better represent our work in smart sheets in a consistent way with our other systems.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Both planning and timeline estimation, smart sheets, allows us to see on a calendar view with weekends and holidays taken into account how long our estimated work streams might take.

What do you like best about the product?
The display of all the members contact info
What do you dislike about the product?
The corporation/organozation can limit the history retention of the messages wich can cause an issue because there is not a general reminder of it
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves issues with time schedule, by checking my coworkers schedule I can take their time in consideration for any meeting or issues that requires their assitance

What do you like best about the product?
Automating notifications, automating actions for workflow across multiple stakeholders, collaborating simply with an email address, access from multiple devices.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the formulas very complicated. I dislike that every occasion of requesting help has been met with offer to purchase additional add ons. I would like to be able to add more licensed users in lots of "one" for my mid-market sized company.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before Smartsheet, Excel spreadsheets were either emailed or shared in a company computer drive only accessible from that drive impeding collaboration.

What do you like best about the product?
SmartSheet has made managing multiple schedules incredibly easy, especially with the "Create a Report" option available that allows our teams to pull from multiple schedules at once. On top of this, the filter, sort, and search options make it even easier to find what I'm looking for on sheets that have a lot of information.
What do you dislike about the product?
I really wish SmartSheet had more color options. Our team uses the colors to distinguish batches, and we have to re-use a lot of the same ones because options are limited.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
SmartSheet helps my team to know what tasks are due when, as well as allows us to follow the status of the tasks through the "Comment" feature. It saves us so much time when we are looking for the status of items because instead of having to sift through emails, we just go to the SmartSheet and view comments that have been left to figure it out.
Great for collaboration but wish there were more features
What do you like best about the product?
It's nice to be able to track tasks, have multiple people work on the same sheet simeltaneously, and keep projects organized. It has also helped our team with managing deadlines.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are small things such as not being able to have one word in a cell bolded rather than the whole cell. It would also help if people without paid accounts could hide or unhide rows or create filters. The permissions can also be frustrating at times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet has helped me maintain an overall understanding of where we are on projects and the time it takes to accomplish certain tasks. It also has provided a way for our team to work collaboratively on work plans to make sure everything is up to date.
Smartsheet is an excellent collaboration & visualization tool but has functionality limitations
What do you like best about the product?
Centralized platform with multiple capabilities (dashboard, surveys, data calculations; excellent visualization tool with ability to share with non licensed users; easy to use and understand with many help/learning tools
What do you dislike about the product?
Smartsheet has limited capabilities compared to other data analytic and visualization platforms; it is restricted by a maximum number of cells and references making its data capabilities less competitive. Dashboard visualizations also have limits (i.e. unable to edit certain aspects of widgets)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet provides a collaborative experience which allows my team to share data insights with a variety of users. It also helps to track task assignment and progress.
