It automates the work
What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to use. It has many features that make work easy and improve efficiency. The dashboard look of Smartsheet is something that I like a lot and feel is better than other tools that I have used so far.
What do you dislike about the product?
Data saving takes a lot of time sometimes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Shared sheets work relay well and people get notified immediately as soon as anything is assigned. Dashboards help me in taking decisions driven by data and make my presentations look beautiful and impactful.
A quick and smart automation tool with forms
What do you like best about the product?
It is very quick and easy to setup a small project with Forms.
The automation is quicker to setup.
Easy to share and invite guests without a license cost.
New templates are brainstorming and you can achieve alot with some little training.

What do you dislike about the product?
Support and Forms can be more advanced.
Add-ins are not included in Business Plan.
Technical crashes i.e. page is not loading, copy past funciton has not been working very well from couple of months.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Engagement of team was a challenge before Smartsheet and also some central platform was also achieved to receive data in shape of Forms.
User friendly interface & easier work tracking
What do you like best about the product?
As mentioned, the smartsheet user interface is quite friendly. It is easy to understand the automation templates and spreadsheets like layout is also familier. It is even easy to make charts, dashboards etc.
We are everyday tracking the work in it , the thing I like the most in it is that we can easily identify which comment is added when, as it has the cell history in it and other features:
-data can be collated easily
-history available cell wise
-any changes will be captured
-notifications can be sent whenever any changes are made
-we can lock cells to get updated
-data can be integrated

What do you dislike about the product?
Even if we can see that this is a helpful tool, below are the things I dislike:
-Formulas & function are not easy to understand
-Lacks integration capabilities / format issues

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Problem: Not everytime manual intervention required
Solution: Smartsheet is automaticaly sending the notifications, hence it is lowering the efforts of an human and adding to saving time.

Many people can work together at same time on same sheet

Date format customisation not available and pivit can not be created

What do you like best about the product?
It has good customer support with ease of implementation. Great for collaborative work. Helps me process my tasks daily. It is very simple and easy to use with the ability to integrate other softwares as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
More formulae and maybe something like pivot tables.

It helps me track my tasks. It gives me quick access to data. It helps me streamline my work.
Is Smartsheet worth the time investment???
What do you like best about the product?
1. It acts a lot like a spreadsheet.
2. I enjoy using Smartsheets and prefer to use this platform to plan and monitor my projects.
3. It is complete package. Empower every user to plan, track, automate and report for work.

What do you dislike about the product?
1. It has a steep learning curve because it is so robust.
2. Basic features, leading to too much efforts if you want to go for more advanced features. As a beginner, it is complex to learn and confusing.
3. Maintaining old Dashboards data static is difficult. Challenging part if we use the same smartsheets linked to our old dashboards and create more dashboards. Any changes made in the linked cells, changes the data for old dashboards. Still finding solution to fix this issue where we can freeze the data for already saved dashboards and somehow unlink those cells as we do in excel using paste special feature.
4. Difficulty with using Charts and Graphs in dashboards. A bit complex features. Don't find user friendly.
5. Odd Autosave feature. Doesn't update the page in real time.

What do you like best about the product?
Intuitive as it is so simialr in many ways to Microsoft Excel which most are familiar with using. Easily customisable and formatting can be setup dependent on cell values for ease of data analysis. Automated reminders and highlighting changes to fields is incredibly useful.

Functionality can be linited in some circumstances and dashboards are not easy to create, in my experience.

Multiple automation leads to failure and not a good tool for complex projects. Limitation of usage for cells.

I really love Smartsheet for it is versatile, enables project management great, task tracking, and collaboration all in one.
What do you dislike about the product?
In Smartsheet, we create workspace then have different sheet but we can't have different tabs within same sheet. If it does, theni'll be happy to learn about it.

Problem of disorganised task management is solved as it provides a centralized space for project planning, tracking and colloboration, which helps to increase efficiency, leading to better outcomes and timely completion of task.
