Smartsheets for use in scheduleing/gantt charts.
What do you like best about the product?
I like that it is easily formatiable to my team's preferences. I appreciate being able to capture how many hours in a work day. and holidays in the gantt charts. I have taken advantage of the templates for project management which was faster than building out something myself.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not like that Smartsheets does not update live. It would be better if multiple team members could update a gantt simultaneously.
I do not like that it cannot integrate with certain apps.
I do not like that outputting a gantt has horrible formatting in PDF mode. You cann't make out anything so outputting is pointless. Only screenshots wrok well.
I do not like how sheets cannot easily integrate each other. I wish one sheet could copy lines direclty from another without having to individually like each cell.

The gantt charts allow me to schedule project tasks easily.

Helps to manage my project more efficiently.
What do you dislike about the product?
The problem is with me, not with Smartsheet. Learning curve that I have to go through.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Breaking down a project into deliverables, identify critical path, having the end-goal in sight all the time.
Great Automation
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is really great for automated email notification for project deadlines and training schedules. This is also useful for assigning tasks to individuals within your workforce. It also allows for indentation which is way better for organization than a regular excel spreadsheet. Lastly, there are a lot of resources out there for learning how to use Smartsheets.
What do you dislike about the product?
Smartsheet certainly has it's limitations. There is a lot less room for free-form calculations and complicated formulas. There's also no option for building Macros or the like. So although smartsheets is great for ease of automating tasks, it lacks the computing and programming power of excel.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheets have helped me stay on top of training and instrument maintenance schedules by sending out automated messages and reminders to both me and my employees.

Great App for tracking processes
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet has been great to help with tracking proccesses and then easily streamlined into dashboards. Its easy to grab information from data sets and display it on a dashboard.
What do you dislike about the product?
Id like to see it more inutative. it sometimes feels like it should be closer to excelt then it is.

I like that I have the ability to customize columns.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't much guidance and direction so I'm unclear about my capabilities. I think they should have an onboarding before you purchase so that you can be walked through what the capabilities are of each type of account. I feel lost a lot and there are features that I thought I would get but I didn't. The language used in the decription is not clear and would better serve with a visualization.

Signing in patients paperless and it's benefiting by gathering data.

What do you like best about the product?
the Automation feature and ability to connect sheets with auto update features.
What do you dislike about the product?
The lack of Customer Support and input. Connecting sheets is simple, but having to type separate formula's for each cell is cumberson. Ease of implementation, it's not easy if you are a small company and users are not familiar with excel or smartsheet. The lack of being able to lock individual cells and have a simple Filter Function verses creating a filter memory for each potential filter.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it mainly for a call management system for my sales staff. It is simpler for me than CRM's when I don't need all the bells and whistles that come with a CRM.

Smartsheet is a great user experience. It is straightforward and easy to navigate.

Occasionally it is not intuitive and I have to spend time searching for certain functions.

What do you like best about the product?
I really like that you can set up workflows where you can map/copy between sheets and set up email notifications and approvals.
I also really like using and creating forms in Smartsheet. They are very easy to use and set up logic. I think it'll help users adapt to a new business process within our organization.
I would be interested in finding out more about form creation and workflows, maybe more advanced features.

What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that you can't set up a workflow to copy/map a column(s) from one sheet to another, you have to copy the entire row with every column.
I also don't like that you can't drag a formula down a column and have the formula update to reference each row (like you can in excel). If you copy a formula down or make it a column formula, the formula stays exactly the same in every row.

We are trying to document our processes and have one shared place when we comment/communicate about a project/job.
