Good, but could use easier to understand streamlining for simple surveys
What do you like best about the product?
Output is in excel, which makes it super easy to compile results.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the question setup is still in somewhat of a coded format.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet allowed me to ask complex questions with varying ability for answers from simple yes/no, selected answers, and even free field form.

What do you like best about the product?
Ability to have real time collaborative updates in various sheets/workspaces. It is also great to have rows automatically copied into a separate sheet to help with tracking and contact management. Notifications when specified details are met is a huge time saver and keeps things from getting lost in emails.
What do you dislike about the product?
The capability to save a form to edit at a later time/date is missing, if that ability was enabled it would streamline processes, and make it possible to utilize one software instead of two. Based on the FAQ's/forums it seems this is a major issue for other SmartSheet users and would be a MAJOR improvement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Email overload and timely workflow movement. Realtime contact updates for various projects and funding support. Organization of documents and workflow/project management.

What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to get started on your own with the videos and a bit of 'trial and error' it allows us to have different workstreams and data (resourcing, finance) all n one place so is more efficient.

What do you dislike about the product?
I find some limitations on the forms (ie. not being eble to upload more than one file or filtering responses by 'only links')
The dasboards filters are not the most straight forward/easy to visualize data from a worksheet into a dashboard. Though I have to say, is a feature I would need to watch some training and get better knowledge to be able to have a proper use of it.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
By using Smartsheet we have managed to unify different information and data on our business that allow us to have better visibility, be more efficient and be able to plan better.
Also, it allows managers to keep theis projec status updated while informing fianance and resourcing teams

I like that I can stay updated on my projects and make comments to send to the team

Sometimes hard to find projects and filter

SmartSheet is helping me by imputing my projects and tasks, assigning deadlines, and pinging me when new items are added. This has helped me stay on track with my tasks and not get behind.
So Close, but Not Excel
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is an excellent cloud-based alternative to Google or Microsoft spreadsheets, particularly if your work involves extensive reporting. It’s highly effective for creating multiple reports from a single data sheet, functioning almost like a business intelligence tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
Smartsheet is not Excel and lacks the capability to handle advanced functions like Excel or even other cloud-based spreadsheets. Additionally, its API can be a bit quirky, and it hasn’t kept pace with the availability of integrations.

smartsheet templates reports off a single sheet easier than spreadsheets.
Its like a fancy version of Excel...

Smartsheets is a user friendly interface. It is easy to learn & navigate through.

I think the Smartsheet app could be better. It gets a bit overwhelming w/ the bigger Smartsheets.

It's a great tool for representing our projects and what goes into each phase. It benifets us by providing transparency to our clients.

What do you like best about the product?
I really like the collaborative aspect of smartsheets and the variety of templates that it has available for one to choose from. I can easily share sheets with coworkers and collaborate on gantts and project plans
What do you dislike about the product?
Even though I almost strictly use gantt charts for my work - sometimes I find that its difficult to find the template when I start new.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet allows me to accurately track project progress and update team members on where we are on achieving our goals. It provides an easy platform for people to check out status and comment / tag others when there's questions or updates on tasks.
