What do you like best about the product?
I like using smartsheets as it holds all our data in one easily accesible space, especially with having multiple users using the same sheets. It is easy to integrate this into every day work that we do, as we use smartsheets every day. Customer support has been great.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes things do not autosave, if the system is down it can cause havoc as all our data is on there. however things are often back up and running really quickly

Smartsheets keeps all our booking data in one space, and gives us accurate data. the sheets are only as good as the information it holds.

What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet can be a strong collaborative tool for project management and other organization purposes. Being able to tag people, attach documents/files, & configure cells to guarantee proper input/use of the spreadsheet makes it a fantastic "one stop shop" for storage, tracking, etc. The numerous viewing options for organizing the smartsheet content is convenient.
In addition to the automated workflows that are relatively easy to set up within Smartsheet's workspaces, the platform can also be connected to BI tools for automated reporting outside of the users interacting with the smartsheet.

What do you dislike about the product?
The platform itself is unattractive but serves it's intent for internal purposes. To keep things organized and avoid users being overwhelmed, a strongly organized set up of the the sheets & workflows is needed from the start & followed by routine management/maintenance to keep things clean.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's lending transparency to around large company initiatives - how is the initiative being executed (i.e. sub-projects), who has responsibility, what is the status of each subproject?
Not user friendly
What do you like best about the product?
If you are a master at it, for sure can certainly be a very good management tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
I mainly use Smartsheet to plan and track my projects. I don't think it is very user-friendly - I spend a lot of time when I need to explore new features and figure out how to use them. Moreover, some of the most important features are paid separately.

Have several project management reports and tools in the same place in a easy way to share with my clients and internal teams.
A great product but needs to improve and evolve with time.
What do you like best about the product?
I've had great experience using Smartsheet, especially with its ability to set formulas and link one sheet to another. This feature really simplifies the process when pulling information from multiple sheets into one.

However, I've encountered a few issues that have made my work a bit more challenging.
Our organization has a folder where all project templates are stored. When we start a new project, we typically copy the entire folder of templates to a new location. While the folder appears in the new location, the individual sheets within the folder don’t show up immediately. It usually takes around 5 to 10 minutes for the sheets to appear, but if I copy a single sheet instead of the entire folder, it appears instantly. This delay when copying multiple sheets is something I’ve noticed.
Additionally, I have around seven sheets linked to a main sheet. These seven sheets are regularly updated throughout the project lifecycle. However, the main sheet takes a significant amount of time to update and reflect the changes made in the linked sheets. The delays can be frustrating, especially when the project requires real-time updates.
I’ve tested these issues across multiple networks, all of which consistently provide speeds of at least 10 Mbps, so I’m confident the problem isn’t related to network speed. I believe it may be a software malfunction rather than a network issue.

What do you like best about the product?
ITs easy to create dependencies and assign actions to the team.

It can take some time to correctly set up a project plan.

Most of the time. User friendly
What do you like best about the product?
I like the workflow. I like how we can move lines from sheet to sheet. I like how it creates a flow for our company to work through. I like how all the information - comments and attachments included - will move from sheet to sheet. It allows us to have vendors and clients collaborate with us. It's easy to find other information from my co-workers. I gives us a way to store and organize projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
When SmartSheet updates, it can be challenging to relearn the new steps. But, this is a downside to anything updating. The update is helpful, just takes some time to get used to. Our "Account Rep" can be very not helpful at times. Delayed responses to emails. And being too focused on a meeting agenda and time frame, not giving me time to discuss the issues I need help resolving. I don't think he quite understands what our company does and how our work flows. He's asked and sought to understand, but there always seems to be a disconnect when we discuss what we do and what SmartSheets can help us do. The new billing update has caused a lot of confusion to our organization as a whole, and so we are working through that.

SmartSheets keeps all our orders, customers and projects for 90% of our company.
Great - very helpful for managing tasks with a group.
What do you like best about the product?
I like the live updating, it helps minimize version control. It's very user friendly and easy to pick up. I use smartsheets on a weekly basis for managing my tasks and it has integrated easily with my team.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was more excel formula functionality to do math calculations.

It helps coordinate detailed and difficult tasks with a group of people in an effortless collaborative effort.

All the different workspaces can get confusing and hard to find what you are looking for if you forget to favorite it.

Keepting everyone updated with what is happening in a project and changes that are needed
Overall smart sheet is a useful PM tool
What do you like best about the product?
The timeline and Gantt planner are intuative and easy to use. They can be used to make plans which are easy to understand and communicate as well as to modify and update.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a lack of high level project overview and it can be difficult to link plans together.

The main probelm smartsheet solves for me is to allow me to communciate project timelines and plans clearly with key stakeholders.
Good for skeletal project management
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet has helped automate a lot of reminders that are required in an organisation with a lot of moving parts.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is very little flexibility for the tool to be used in conjunction with other softwares, and it is not completely rounded, requires additional support from tools like google sheets, etc.
Also, the onboarding experience is quite poor. Most of the people in my organisation repeatedly come to me confused when they are using the software for the first time because it appears to them that they cannot use it without a licence.
