Good but limited capabilities
What do you like best about the product?
It's a simpler version of excel great for people who aren't as versed with excel or who don't need all of it's computing capabilities.
What do you dislike about the product?
Each Smartsheet has a limit on columns and rows and this doesn't work when you are trying to process large amounts of data. It also doesn't have all the same computing capabilities that excel has. It also doesn't autosave as you go which has been killer with computer crashes and losing work done.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Smartsheet for tracking cyclical data as well as financial numbers. It keeps it all in once place and let's us analyze data over time and see what upcoming items need dealing with. It provides a central place for a lot of data.
I love it but there have been a lot of changes that I do not like

That you can add pictures to each tab and it looks organized

Robust Tool for Cloud-Based Sheet/Form Sharing
What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate that Smartsheet allows users to create forms that speak directly to the sheets themselves. This makes it easy to gather and interpret data.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's difficult to see when a form is submitted, there are customizable elements that feel missing when creating sheets, and manual saving is often required.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet allows for easy collaborating and sheet sharing. We use it to manage the full life cycle of projects - from requests, to approvals, to completion. We also keep our clothing and swag inventory recorded with Smartsheet - this allows us to track items easily.
Great software
What do you like best about the product?
I like using smartsheets and the different settings that it to help you visualise your timings. This helps me as being dyslexic sometimes I find large blocks of text hard to digest, so the various styles to see it are a good feature.
Easy to use and get the hang of one you know how - I use it every day for work. It's easy to implement across projects and integrates well with templates etc. I've never had any issues and haven't needed to speak to customer support or anything so that's good!

What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I find it difficult to format my sheets, like making sub sections with indents can be a bit clunky sometimes. I think this could be improved as it's quite time consuming when it's not going to plan and can be a faff.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sharable timelines that can be linked out externally to clients is helpful. It's good because they can view this in real time so everyone's on the same page, it also avoids any back and forth or potentially issues if they're looking at outdated versions etc etc
Smartsheet helps streamline project management for teams
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easily you can link projects together and use those links to manage macro budgets. It was relatively easy to implement on our team with the Smartsheet team scheduling a couple calls with us to walk us through how to link everything together. I used to be an MS Projects user and now I use Smartsheet every day. After the initial learning curve, I'm now bought in.
What do you dislike about the product?
The integration team handed us off to a couple different people before we got a useful session with the right person. It wasted an hour or so of everyone's time on our team but once we got the right person, we got everything straightened out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Coordinating schedules and everyone on my team is now able to see the most up to date version without emailing it out every week.
Really good start of a program!
What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful thing about Smartsheet is the ability to collaborate with other people - having the ability to update items and review them in real time together is critical to keeping work flowing.
What do you dislike about the product?
The features were hard to get used to at times, and felt a little clunky or not easily accessible compared to other options.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet has allowed me and my team members to work on one document together, cutting down back and forth emails. phone calls, etc.
Beneficial tool for our team
What do you like best about the product?
My favourite feature is that you can comment on the lines, tag fellow colleagues in and be notified via email when something has been added to the sheet. It ensures I do not miss anything critical! Once a form or sheet are set up, it is very easy to use and great that you can monitor the access for other staff. It integrates well with the other platforms we have in place.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I find the sheet rows too long. It is difficult to scroll to see all the relevant information. Not sure if it is possible, but it would be great to be able to hide sheet rows once they are completed.

Solving out general purchasing requests across the business in multiple locations across the country.
Good Organization Tool
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Smartsheet makes it easy to keep sheets for a certain project all in one place. This is easy for myself and my clients to both access the most updated information.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish Smartsheet had the option to format with bullet points

Organization - helping keep me and the clients on the same page
Advanced and Mid level Project setup requires significant time

The ability to set a "baseline" makes it very easy to compare your current status to the original plan.
Also the sistem is easy wuse and very flexible and friendly.

The design is not very up to date and a bit heavy so i only use ut for internal use and for sharing wil clients i have to re design
