Smartsheet for Program Managament
What do you like best about the product?
Collaboration aspect/ record keeping across a large program. Able to take a large database of information and divide it into meaningful reports and dashboards. I am able to actively reference information daily and quickly answer questions about the data. The search functionality works well for me.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel like there are limitations for the dashboards and timeline views that are needed for executive reports. I would also like to be able to test the integration with JIRA without upgrading my version. There are some barriers/ a learning curve to get others to use smartsheet
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We collect a lot of enhancement suggestions and roadmap information. to be able to use smartsheet as a facilitation tool and consolidate data into easy to find locations improves visibility into roadmaps and workflows.
Great Tool, but not all-inclusive
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about smartsheet is that it's a live platform our entire team can use and edit together at the same time. I also like the ability to link data, create formulas, and automate some manual data entry and analysis.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that the additional automation features are an extra cost and that there's not much AI integration yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solving the problems of transparency of information.

What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet has a very simple user interface and is easy to get started with. It also integrates well with other platforms. The form collection functionality with its ability to generate conditional and automated responses saves time compared with conventional surveys.
What do you dislike about the product?
Workspaces can feel a bit slow when multiple people are working on it at once, and consequently sometimes updates are lost with live saving.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet works well as a project tracker and data repository for past projects. It allows for relevant data or information to be more easily sourced and tracked across large teams.
Easy to maneuver Smartsheets
What do you like best about the product?
I like that they are is to work with and have filters that make it easy to find what you need.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to see that SS sync more efficiently. There are times where it lags.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows us easy access to information we use on a day to day basis.
Overall helpful, needs some intuitive formatting
What do you like best about the product?
I like that you can make your sheets as complex or simple as you need them to be. I like that you can add attachments in different cells for quick reference.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't think the "filter" option is very intuitive in terms of how I would like to "view" the sheet, though admittedly I am not incredibly savvy in this area. I also would prefer auto-save features to be more "real-time." There also does not appear to be an intuitive way to "move" collumns over if I want them to be listed in a different order, but again I am not sure I have mastered Smartsheet.

Tracking project items, priority, and sharing easily with team members.
Flexable and Open Ended Project Management Software with Severe Drawbacks
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheets works really simular to using microsoft excel or google sheets for project managments. There are automations and workflows that are extreemly powerful and flexable for many different projects I use it for.
What do you dislike about the product?
Smartsheets is not always intuative. There was a lengthy onboarding process for this tool and it was challenging for many of my collegues who were 50+ years old to understand how to use the software. They just decided not to use it and couldn't find the value in transitioning to this tool from their existing workflow. For the flexability this software has, there are still some headscratching "why does this need to be so hard" moments where it takes setting up what would be simple projects on other project managment systems minutes takes smartsheets hours. I don't have that kind of time or dedicated project manage to spend hours on setting up projects which caused my team to only use it for select projects and not use it for the main project intake ticketing requests.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheets collects my employees monthly work and goals and lays it out nicely into a dashboard. This is effective for me as a leader because my entire team has a consitent place to log projects, time spent, and goals setting.

It help me mostly streamline the data and show the number via Dashbaord.

There is nothing that I dislike about Smartsheet.

What do you like best about the product?
The most useful feature is attachements and domments on each row. this allows supporting documents to be attached for quick reference as well as dialogue.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface is dated and clunky, often in chats people forget to @ people, start new chats as opposed to hitting reply or dont realized they have clicked on another line when commenting. it's really easy to make mistakes here. Also have to make comments repeatively or upload attachment multiple times is also paionful. This is when multiple lines might related to the same supporting documents or comments.

Allows us to track warrany issues with supporting documents and correspondence

It was a very realiable tool to manage building projects

the new updates have created a very clunky work environment, ive stopped using it alot of the time and have even started looking for alternatives

Project communication and availability of information

Excellent project management tool. It gives me the flexibility to build whatever I need on my own!
What do you dislike about the product?
Using the Smartsheet application is extremely painful. It would requires multiple updates to make it a great application. I can't recommend Smartsheet right now because the application is just so weak compared to other applications.
