Great for automated tasks, but limitations compared to excel workbooks.
What do you like best about the product?
The automation of tasks and reminders is very handy and helps keep projects and teams on task
What do you dislike about the product?
The ability to have multiple data sets on one sheet is a limitation that I am able to better navigate in Excel.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is simplifying the process and reducing the time needed to send reminders and ensure work is getting completed.

The ability to integrate into many aspects of my workflow. Easily molding into many areas of shared information amongst groups.

Some clunky unneeded steps when performing certain tasks

What do you like best about the product?
It is a great way to get more detailed spreadsheets and automate notifications about certain things.
What do you dislike about the product?
Very disappointed with customer service. Actually, considered cancelling our subscription because of how bad our customer service experience has been.

We are using it as a spreadsheet to keep track of subcontractors and vehicles.

It helps me track tasks that need to be repeated on a time sensitive basis
Good for collaboration without over-complication

Being able to work collaboratively on multiple sheets with multiple users. Allows for export to other software. Easy to build and present dashboards.

Often laggy and slow. Creating links to outside material can be difficult.

Allows for easy review of project status and progress.
More than just a project management tool!
What do you like best about the product?
It has been really helpful to use as a review tool for our projects. I am able to upload visual proofs and route to my team to allow them to make direct annotations on their feedback, or hit an official "approve" button. It also keeps everything really organized in their own rows, and I'm able to create "rules" to allow for each row to change in color as the status changes. Overall, it helps keep projects seamless and organized throughout for your entire team to follow along, no matter what discipline they are in.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it can really lag when trying to tag someone on a comment in the reviews. If you hit someone's name it takes a while for it to pick up on who are trying to tag in the comment, or it just won't pick up anyone at all.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet is solving the problem to be able to route files to my entire team to review and have a way to annotate feedback directly on the platform. It keeps everything organized in one spot from the team working on it. deadlines, different file types and necessary info, to being able to saving important files directly in the asset row.
I use it since this is the common platform defined by the company to set the Goals.

Not user friendly, lack the same features os MS Excel
