email updates on project do not show enough information - it gives me a snapshot of the project and a line item, but the detail is cut off - I have to open SS to get the full update

What do you like best about the product?
I like how it keeps everything organized and you can create project plans. We mostly use it for tracking purposes.
What do you dislike about the product?
The posting of drafts could be a little easier. Some of the terms for the drop down are confusing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping track of projects and the data that comes along with that. We will use it to see if we are short staffed anywhere. And it can be used to correct last minute project behaviors.

What do you like best about the product?
It does its job of organizing elements into different sheets fine. It has enough functions like check boxes, drop down menus, etc. that can be used to streamline data input.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel like the interface is not great. There should be less stuff in my face, and the functions that I use the most should be most front-and-center, like ways to edit and manipulate text. Instead, I get mostly useless stuff like the tabs to the right. If I want to publish, find update requests, resource management, etc., then I would normally go specifically to that drop down menu and search for it. Stuff that is lacking includes a function to zoom in and out of the sheet (like in excel), a back button to your previous folder (at the very least, when I click on the title, I would like a way to go back to the previous folder).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps us document our experiments company wide. Is useful to source everything into one area. Also serves as a way to document and track things.

My team and I use Smartsheet every day!! It is a wonderful tool that helps keep our team with multiple projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
The conditional formatting is a bit hard to work with sometimes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet helps us keep track of who’s doing what, to try and make sure nothing gets missed, especially when we are working on multiple projects at once.

What do you like best about the product?
It is a really good platform to use for automated data flows for simple data and provides a decent amount of capability to view the data.
What do you dislike about the product?
I found it fairly limiting in term of visualisation and often required workaround to perform fairly simple outputs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It would allow for a centralised place to view our salesforce opportunities and report on the efficacy of out process and well as how we manage projects afterwards.
Adaptability is excellent but lacking in scalability
What do you like best about the product?
I still believe Smartsheet is a great product. Yes, it takes a while to learn because you can do so much, but out of the gate, the basics will feel very familiar with products you may have used before, like Excel or MS Project.
The short-term investment in learning will pay off for the flexibility of the tool, unlike Asana or Monday, where you start off faster but then hit major limitations if you need a true Project Management Tool.
The design is seeing major updates as is the options to integrate with other platforms, Smartsheet will set you up for success.

What do you dislike about the product?
In terms of scaling at a larger scale, more work is needed to allow for a less manual update method. I know changes have been implemented for some of Smartsheets wider portfolio Products, such as DataShuttle and DataMesh, but having more of this scaled automatically will really drive further engagement,
The major downside of Smartsheet are its Support functions. It seems no real investment or development happens there, meaning you can feel left on your own when you encounter actual issues. The first line of support is just not cutting it and needs a major overhaul.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Overall, the full cycle of Project Management from the Intake of data, to the running of your projects. I love how adaptable the tool is and how easy real-time reporting becomes.
Ease of Reporting
What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet makes reporting and dashboards a breeze! I would highly recommend for creating and recreating and exporting routine reports, as well as creating dashboards pulling from multiple sheets.

There is a bit of a learning curve for some, but Smartsheet does have a bank of learning materials.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheet benefits report creation and provides automated status updates.

I like best that it has AI incorporated into the tool, which helps with formulas. It also has a lot of different view and the tool is being upgraded continuously. It is also pretty intuitive and easy to understand.

Sometimes it can be pretty slow and difficult to download. Some features that would make sense are missing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mostly project management and resource management. It helps with planning of the projects as well as the planning on resources usage.
