It has been good for most needs, but is very clunky
What do you like best about the product?
I like the automation piece, but it could use more automation options

Smartsheet is easy to use, leverage, and grow with as our programs grow.

The options to create dashboards and reporting off of a main program plan.
What do you dislike about the product?
The changing cost model does not provide pricing changes in dollar amounts. It is unclear what the new costs will be.

A cohesive project plan for multiple projects that allows us to dashboard for reporting needs

What do you like best about the product?
Organizing plans and to do lists. Being able to share with other colleagues.
What do you dislike about the product?
Working and creating dashboards. The setup is easy of listing out projects and timelines but building the dashboards is hard. wish there was an AI feature that would just do it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Setting up GOST updates and timelines. Sharing with others for updates on project and task completion.
Good for the most part
What do you like best about the product?
Smart sheets is great for data management, it's flexible with easy user interface, and it's most useful feature to us is the usage of mobile devices for the platform. We use it daily for live performances and keep track of most things. The access to API's works great, we implement external code so that we can do the automations we want to do.
What do you dislike about the product?
Customer support read a script, but too many of the issues we had needed to be solved by our team. It feels limited in both automations as well as interface on the back end. Small things, such as conversations needed to be removed manually if they're tied to a sheet, we can't copy cells and paste them to a different sheet, connectivity to Power Automate is not the best and is severely limited. Automations take a few minutes, and you can't prioritize automations or time them by the minute, so they require specific structuring even though it wouldn't be an issue with programs such as Excel. They update features that seem more aesthetic and there are many small details that could instead be improved which would honestly increase the apps value.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Smartsheets allows us to have mobile devices directly insert data onto the sheets which we are able to use the very same day for inventory across multiple theaters.

What do you like best about the product?
I like how it provides a well-rounded system with different tools which allows for creativity and freedom when it comes to building client solutions without having to type a line of code.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are few functionalities with the app that are limited or missing. There are also some really annoying little things which I presume can be solved easily. To give an example: When creating conditional formatting rules, once you add an "AND" condition, it can't be undone. Also, you can't delete a column if it's being used in conditional formatting rules, etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a Smartsheet Consultant, I'm using the app to solve client problems. From what I witnessed with about 9 months using Smartsheet, it is really helpful when it comes to PPM Solutions and allowing businesses have a great control over their projects at a granular level, and over their portfolio. It also enables seamless collaboration across Teams which is one of the most powerful features within the app.

It's great to be able to attach files and comments to the same line. This works well for planning out a social media calendar.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't find it super intuitive to use, and am often having to search out how functions work.

It's easy to see what everyone is posting on our various channels of social media all in one place.

While it covers many bases for project tracking, it can feel a bit clunky or overwhelming for users who aren’t familiar with spreadsheet-style tools. Also, while automation and integrations are available, they may require some setup time and aren’t always intuitive for new users.

Smartsheet helps us organize and manage projects by providing a centralized space where we can assign tasks, set start and due dates and track progress. It solves the problem of scattered communication and missed deadlines by allowing us to automate reminders and keep everything in one place.

Great for registers, forms are good, not to hard to learn. excel for words basically

complex formulas are a bit rough, app is clunky. cant zoom on sheets ?!?

Register such as HSE, Business Risk, Training Matrices, smart sheets can send you reminders which reduces mental load
