What do you like best about the product?
I like that Smartsheet offers a variety of templates and options for a head start but is also incredibly customizable to fit the needs of whatever your current tasks are. It also allows for a variety of functions built in such as summing a category or highlighting text in columns when edited. This is a tool my company uses daily in a variety of departments.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that it does not easily have the new blank sheet available and you have to choose a template and while they have a large assortment of templates to choose from sometimes you just need a basic one to copy and paste an excel into so you can begin to manipulate the data.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Smartsheet as a workflow management piece to track how pieces move between departments along with task management for individual departments along with inventory management and tracking.
Smartsheet has helped me stay organized, automate tasks.

I like that it is familiar like a spreadsheet and easy to lean

Easy to use and to track changes
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use from the first moment, really fast to learn. I like how you can track the value of a specific cell over time.
What do you dislike about the product?
It could become slow if you start linking together several sheets with vlookups so better to use index/match instead. The limitation of the number of cells that you can paste in one go is not technically justified and it is there just for you to pay an extra fee for DataShuttle. Overall, it is an expensive tool but usefull if your company already pay for it.

What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is incredibly flexible and user-friendly. I love how easy it is to manage projects, tasks, and timelines all in one place. The ability to create Gantt charts, dashboards, and automated workflows has significantly improved how our team operates. Collaboration is seamless, and I appreciate the version control and activity tracking features that keep everything transparent and accountable.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the platform is powerful, there is a bit of a learning curve for new users—especially for those unfamiliar with spreadsheet-style project tools. Also, the mobile app feels slightly limited compared to the desktop version, which can be a challenge when working on the go.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before Smartsheet, project updates and team communication were scattered across emails and spreadsheets. Now, everything is centralized, and we’ve saved a lot of time by automating repetitive tasks. Project visibility has drastically improved, allowing stakeholders to stay updated in real-time. It’s helped us deliver projects on time and with fewer errors.
Used for school, software worked well with a few hiccups here and there.

It was fairly simple to learn and understand out it worked and how to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
When using the app on my cell phone it often would not display correctly and when trying to work with the schools IT team to be able to see all of the things I needed to it was not possible to get it to happen. Whether it was due to the software itself or the IT department I'm not 100% sure.

Organizing patient contacts as well as tracking our clinical contacts and lab days.

What do you like best about the product?
Smartsheet is easy to use and great for managing tasks and projects. I like how it helps teams collaborate in real time and keeps everything organized in one place. The ability to customize workflows and create simple dashboards is very helpful. It’s also nice that it integrates with other tools like Microsoft Teams and Google Drive.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be a little tricky to get started if you’re new to the tool, especially with setting up automations or workflows. The price may be high for small teams, and sometimes it feels a bit slow when dealing with large amounts of data.

Additionally, the ability to share real-time updates keeps everyone on the same page, improving communication and reducing delays in project delivery. This helps my team stay organized, work more efficiently, and complete projects faster.

It acts as a tool to collect information across departments and used as a dashboard to disseminate information.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not very intuitive. When exporting data from Smartsheet to Excel, the filtered data are not filtered.

Easily adopted as it is familiar interface like excel.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are many templates but to adopt them for a different use may not be as easy, especially with reports and dashboards. Would be great to have some features like "walk me". University is time consuming.
There is no access to sample sandbox for Control Centre. It is hard to evaluate capabilities without testing them.
