Great learning tool!
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to review previous calls to confirm notes.
What do you dislike about the product?
It often disconnects from my outlook, and I have to contact support, but they are fast and helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can listen and visualize all product calls. It accelerates the learning process when we can listen to all calls with various department perspectives. The transcript is 95% accurate and helpful to review too.

- Powerful search that lets you find a call by content, participants, or call contents (based on transcript)
- Can share a specific all snippit, which is helpful for sharing with colleagues

What do you dislike about the product?
- Requires setting up before the call
- Call transcript is not really useful (except for finding a call)
- Does not integrate with other customer/user tracking systems like Product Board, Looker, etc.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- Hard to take notes & have a good user conversation - gong is good for separating out the actual call & taking notes later
- Good for reviewing with wider team later -- it's always more powerful to hear it directly from the customer (via a video recording) vs. hearing it indirectly from whomever was on the call

What do you like best about the product?
I can go back in and verify what was said and what wasn't said in certain deals when clients get a fuzzy memory.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like digging into gong too much because I don't want to throw off my swagger.

Basically just using the search feature to check my work.

Great tool, UX can be a bit clunky, but the meat and potatoes of the software and the insights it provides is awesome!
Fantastic technology loved by the sales team
What do you like best about the product?
Gong's easy-to-use interface is something that my entire sales team can pick up after very little training, and the benefits are immediate. From out-of-the-box insights and stats to the coaching and training benefits, my sales team was able to get up and running and learning from each other within weeks. Gong was designed to be incredibly user-friendly, eliminating a common barrier to any software adoption.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've had a great experience with the new business sales team, but have been less impressed with account management across multiple different people and roles. Ultimately, they don't end up being much of a value-add to the software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We never had visibility into sales calls before Gong, and now we're coaching at a rate I don't think my frontline managers thought would be possible. This has led to rampers picking up on great discovery questions and close talk tracks from listening to their peers.
More valuable than I expected

A great catalogue of customer insights that can be used by sales, product & marketing.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing so far. I look forward to more AI insights.

We are trying to discover which sales pitch works the best and what features to build next. Gong has given us a lot of insight into our pipeline health and is a great way to share calls with customers and internally for training purposes.

What do you like best about the product?
Great recordings; they allow you to completely revisit calls and coach yourself on mistakes or areas for improvement.
What do you dislike about the product?
It took a few days for me to get used to the platform, but if you are actively utilizing it, the layout becomes second nature.

Recalling various sales calls or video conferences with prospects. The analytics are a great tool toO!
