They've launched new functionality like 'Deals' which looks awesome, we just haven't adopted yet. More training and documentation here would be helpful.

What do you like best about the product?
Great breakdown of calls makes it easy to skip straight to where screenshares/slides are being displayed. Excellent integration with other systems such as salesforce/zoom/hubspot/etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
UI on the home screen to see and manage upcoming calls and sharing snippets could be a little cleaner.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Recording sales team calls for improving messaging and training as well as gathering and sharing product feedback.

What do you like best about the product?
Using Gong's transcripts and call intelligence we're able to introduce new conversations and coach on-call effectiveness without being on the call.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing at this time. We're currently not integrated into our CRM and so we look forward to using the full functionality of the system in the future.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
with Gong, we were trying to expand our visibility into rebranding efforts and adoption rates with the sales team.

What do you like best about the product?
I like how fast the transcripts are generated and the marking of timestamps by speakers and discussion topics.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish you could scroll through the transcript and click a certain sentence and the audio would jump to it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My team uses it to see how our customers talk about our products and we pull supporting quotes to include in our campaigns.

What do you like best about the product?
Simplicity. Gong is so easy to use. You can easily filter to find any call you are looking for. I also love how Gong send me highlights with subtitles on my calls.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't found a big downside yet. So far it has been easy to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong is helping me learn. I am always trying to get better at my trade and Gong makes it easy to go back and listen to my calls and hightlights from other's calls who are crushing it.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Just jump in and go for it. It is easy to use and you will learn as you go!

Instant and automatic recording. Ability to search calls for keywords.

What do you like best about the product?
We mainly use Gong to share zoom calls externally with customers. We like how easy it is to record calls and then share the recorded called with external customers.
What do you dislike about the product?
We dislike how the Gong recorder is another participant in the zoom call. Some customers will ask what it is.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving the problem of sharing onboarding/training sessions with external customers. By sharing these sessions, we have spent less time re-engaging customers on features already covered.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great tool. Integrate it across all your internal teams to effectively capture the value. If you're in a customer-facing role, this is an ideal tool to stay organized managing multiple accounts/customers.

Incredibly helpful tool for Customer Success and Sales

What do you like best about the product?
I train every customer who comes through us on a zoom call. Having the ability to reference what I promised or said is a godsend. I love the fact that Gong emails you after calls to remind you of asks and promises addressed during the call. I also think that generally, it is a wonderful tool for bridging the gap between the Sales team and the Customer Success team. For a tech startup having a tool like Gong really helps keep goals on track when it comes to customer retention and growth. I don't worry about making statements I'll forget later. I also love that I am able to reshare calls for customers who are lost and confused after training.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it is difficult to find something you referenced in a call simply because there are things that it doesn't seem to translate well in the auto-generated transcript. I also can't seem to figure out how to just download the video file of the call (other than linking to the site), which has been frustrating for both myself as well as my customers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It absolutely helps with customer knowledge gaps. I was able to easily share calls when we added a new CSM, which made my training her much easier. It also helps make the transition of clients easier- both from sales to success and from success team member to success team member. Being able to see complete interactions makes us all contribute to customer retention in a way that actually has a meaningful impact.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Gong has integration into email as well as zoom that we personally utilize in multiple departments. I almost feel like I derive more benefit from it in my success role than the sales team does. (Although they benefit as well) being able to use it for training both internally and externally is a massive time saver. Being able to reinstruct clients who have lost their way quickly is magical.
