A great tool
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the parameters set to help you become a better version of yourself. The insights and reminders surrounding the discussion are such a great feature.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, there isn't anything that I dislike about Gong. It's constructive for you while highly beneficial for your clients. The research and the intelligent machine learning on each call are spectacular.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong is essential in shaping and forming you to be a better listener and be highly efficient in your role. The reminders to send emails, the keywords called out are pretty helpful.

What do you like best about the product?
Integrates with my meeting invites so that I don't have to set it up every single time I use it. People can leave notes on my calls about what to say/not to say.
What do you dislike about the product?
When a prospect/client jumps on the call it gives off an alert message that tells everyone the call is being recorded. It's just a little annoying when first trying to greet people.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps with training if I'm just starting out I don't have to have a bunch of people on the call with me. I can listen to calls from other reps insead of sitting in on theirs as well.

Gong is invaluable for reviewing conversations, notes I missed, and previous account history, even installations for troubleshooting and understanding where we left off.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only inconvenience is having to navigate to a separate site/application... would love this built right into Salesloft or SFDC.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Better notetaking, more accurate details, ability to relay customer's words back to them.
Nice resource for Calls
What do you like best about the product?
Gong has provided the ability to go back and review calls and do follow ups. There have been many times I have needed to go back and replay or reference information and it's been invaluable in finding it quickly and easily. Stats and other information provided are also helpful. It also provides email reporting so I know how many calls I have scheduled or completed.
What do you dislike about the product?
Transcription can sometimes be skewed but you do have the recording you can listen to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ability to track calls, see how long you are talking vs others on the call and what points are being made. Helpful for referring back for information.

The dashboard with calls and the AI that shows when you talk about pricing or next steps

That you cannot search for the words in the transcriptions

We moved away from chorus and Gong has delivered more than I expected. I am not the financial buyer but it helps me with the productivity by sending me notifications to watch out my pipeline in risk and propensity

I love listening in to colleagues' calls, with the AI showing me the best parts to listen to around a topic or feature. It's also great to listen to isolated parts of your own calls to pick out ways to improve in the future.

I am only just finding out some of the cool features now, so onboarding could be better.

Maximise your learning time by listening to just the key parts of calls. Catch up on meetings you couldn't attend with AI driven synopsis. Get automatically reminded of next steps and actions.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the notetaker tool. This allows me to focus on the conversation and be present in the moment versus scrambling to take notes or clicking away while a customer speaks.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't spent that much time on the tools. I don't have anything I dislike in particular.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong has made it easier for me to review my own and my colleague's calls. We're able to leave feedback for each other, improving call times, cadence, focus, and dropping those pesky filler words.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the machine learning that goes into determining schemas around words: not only does Gong show the words our team Versus customers/prospects use, but it also groups them and gives us the ability to sort by those. It makes what was intangible, time-consuming, and manual into something simple and actionable.
What do you dislike about the product?
Hard to say what there is to dislike, it's more that sometimes Gong may prioritize 'points of interest' that aren't as important as other things. I imagine there's a way to prioritize what is or isn't shown on the sidebar, but if not, it's still a great tool anyways.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Major benefits: We can see the most important questions asked and likely responses to better coach sales teams, and hear where resistance points are from customers. Not only that but CX team can use this to actualize what the most common questions are for customers so we can cater our automated learning messages to their needs, as well as change our roadmap with the customer in mind. Rather than rely on memory of an hour-long call, or someone to listen to it and transcribe notes, Gong gives insights automatically.

The Transcripts are very helpful I can read and find the right points in a video to get to the issues I need to listen in on

I wish the transcripts were more accurate

Being able to consistently review meetings in one easy to navigate repository is wildly helpful
