Great tool for long, technical conversations

What do you like best about the product?
Gong is a great way to retain a large amount of technical data without having to split your attention writing or typing notes. Not only does it record the call to be able to play back, but it also transcribes and then groups the conversation for easy reference.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the transcription and therefore the AI can miscategorize and therefore give incorrect feedback in regards to subjects being talked about. Not a huge issue, but it would be better to just leave it uncategorized rather than miscatergorized.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This has been a great way to scale sales call coaching- both for review of new sales reps, along with finding more seasoned reps best calls to be able to share with the rookies.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
As far as I can tell, it is the best solution out there- definitely give it a shot.

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use; Provides great insights on different types of interactions with clients and leads, really helpful for tracking and improving overall performance;
What do you dislike about the product?
There's room for improvement on analytics of calls and meetings (numbers of questions, points of interest, etc.), especially when speaking in languages that are not English.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking performance on interactions with leads;
Reviewing calls to indetify opportunities for improvement;
Insights for coaching and training.

What do you like best about the product?
Gong enables sales teams to onboard their new hires faster and help all team members learn from each others. On top of that, leadership can review pre-recorded calls and help their members learn and grow by giving constructive feedback.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think there's more room to grow when it comes to the user experience of the platform. In addition to that, I occasionally experience technical issues listening into my peers' calls.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As an IC in sales, it helped me onboard faster by listening to other team members' calls. I learn faster and become more experienced presenting product demos to my clients.

What do you like best about the product?
I can always go back and listen to Gong recordings to see where I can improve my sales approach and refresh my memory on previous calls before making my next one
What do you dislike about the product?
Would love if calls could be logged a bit more quickly so that I can listen to the recording. Sometimes, they can take a while to register and become available.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've been able to clean up some of my "talk tracks" on outbound cold calls and it takes away the need to write detailed notes on the phone, because I can always come back and reference the conversation.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Anyone in the sales industry should get Gong to improve their skills on the phone and generate more revenue.

Very easy to use

What do you like best about the product?
It is a user-friendly tool. It's easy for me to search a specific part of the recording, it translates the content automatically and it was clear to rewind and check what my meeting was about. We can share a part of the recording with another team member, this is especially useful when we want to only share a demo part with my customer without sending the full content.
What do you dislike about the product?
The translation isn't always accurate, but it's understandable due to different accents.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using Gong to record our meetings with clients and it helps us to get back and review what we've covered. The reminder feature is super useful, Gong also detect my to-do list automatically, it catches the 'I will follow up' and reminds me to send a follow-up email.

Wish calls could be added in quicker, but the lag time is low

What do you like best about the product?
Gong has a tremendous user interface. I especially found the transcription and comment area helpful. The AI tool that Gong runs off of provides details as to what was discussed on the call.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the transcription can be a bit off. The wrong words appear in the transcription, which makes it difficult to discern what was said. Seems like they are working on this however.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Note-taking is a huge feature of Gong. It allows the callers to speak freely without having to worry about writing down important notes. It also allows calls to be graded which improves performance.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that at the end of the day, I can listen back to my calls for anything I missed. My leadership can provide feedback for improving my calls. It is great to see the stats on how long I talk vs others on the call.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Points of Interest could be a bit better. It would be great to pull out Action Items those on the call mentioned wanting. I am sure this will get better as the program learns, but having a checklist of items discussed as wants/to-dos at the end; can always refine those if some are not valid.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am trying to be more active in the conversation and take fewer notes in real-time. I pay close attention to the Stats published on the call review to understand how involved all those on the call were and if spoke too much.
