Gong - good platform on its way to being a great platform

What do you like best about the product?
Gong has been a fantastic tool for giving our team greater visibility into conversations, processes, and outcomes. The huge expansion of user access when we switched to Gong has been a game-changer, allowing us to gather way more data than before. The conversation intelligence is excellent—trackers and smart trackers have really helped us drill into specific themes, so we can adjust messaging or identify gaps. It’s also been a reliable tool for our forecasting needs. The deal boards and monitor capabilities are solid and used consistently by our team without any hiccups since setup.

Things like integrations with Salesforce and Snowflake are useful, though limited in areas like Gong Engage, so we're eager to see more improvements there. Overall, Gong’s been a key tool for aligning our teams, gathering actionable insights, and improving how we execute across the board.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Gong has been incredibly useful overall, there are areas where we’d love to see more development. For instance, the reporting for Gong Engage feels limited both in-app and via downloads. It’s tough to get deeper insights into flow performance and outcomes without manually digging through CSVs, which adds extra steps.

Another challenge has been the lack of integration between Gong Engage and some external tools like power dialing software, which has created inefficiencies for our team. That said, I appreciate Gong’s openness to feedback, and I’m optimistic these areas will improve as the product continues to evolve.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong helps us improve messaging, manage deal pipelines, and analyze team performance with greater clarity. It’s invaluable for identifying coaching opportunities, tracking forecast accuracy, and aligning our sales and SDR efforts. By providing visibility into conversations and trends, Gong allows us to fine-tune strategies, optimize flows, and address challenges quickly. This has boosted team efficiency, supported new product launches, and made our processes more data-driven, driving better outcomes for the company.

What do you like best about the product?
Being able to review calls and ask questions for quick responses. Follow up email generation and flows. Very easy to use and if you are on tons of calls each day it will save you hours.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think it could have more options for customizing emails and tracking.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main problem Gong solves for me every day is it accelerates my work. I don't have to worry about taking notes or writing follow up emails, I just let gong do the work and I revise.

What do you like best about the product?
The 360 experience. It does a very good job understanding the use case.
What do you dislike about the product?
It has gotten worse, it used to "follow" me to my meetings, it does not anymore.
Also, I love the KPIs section but they are not immediate to understand.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It really helping to keep track of meetings, of things "said" that are left in the air.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me manage all contracts and stuff and the best part is the recording and AI summary frature. The Notetaker is beter than most other apps in the market, in my experience.

What do you like best about the product?
I dont need to take any notes, its done for me.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometime it gets it wrong, and things are twistet in the recording, but that is ok since, I was at the event and do know what it is about.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Takes notes for me. It records the whole call or meeting and makes it very easy to go back to the individual points when ever I need to.

What do you like best about the product?
Holistic view of deals and accounts in a more digestible format than salesforce.
It is very easy to use and has been very easy to implement.

With Salesforce it was super easy to integrate with their OOTB solution
What do you dislike about the product?
Haven't come across many things, and the pipeline for what is being added to the system is going to make this a very hard product not to have in the tech stack
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest one was keeping our CS and Sales conversations in one place for them to be analysed.
But also being able to customise what drives what stats for opportunities was a big improvement as well

Effortless Call Management with Comprehensive Features

What do you like best about the product?
I love using Gong because it's super easy to set up. I just logged in, connected it to Zoom, and it records all my calls. This makes it incredibly easy for me to look back at my summaries and share snippets with coworkers without any trouble. I appreciate how Gong solves the problem of having to take hand notes during calls. The comprehensive call summaries allow me to focus on the conversation, ask good questions, and be fully present. It also makes sharing information with coworkers and management remarkably simple, especially when preparing for presentations or executive business reviews. I find the keyword search feature very handy for looking up specific words mentioned during calls. I love the ability to create snippets easily and share them with others. The email summary generation after calls is another feature I appreciate, as well as Gong's integration with Salesforce and the ability to keep track of open opportunities. Access to the full transcript of each call is something I find very beneficial. Gong's ease of use and intuitive interface are significant factors for me, and I'm very familiar with it now, which makes me more inclined to ensure it's available in my workplace.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find it a bit time-consuming and cumbersome to have to cut and paste conversations into ChatGPT to extract strategic insights. I wish Gong had more integrated AI features that could automatically generate summaries and analyze customer interactions to save time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong provides comprehensive call summaries, eliminating manual note-taking, allowing me to focus on conversations. It simplifies sharing call details with coworkers and management, and I can reference old calls for presentation preparation. It's tied to Salesforce, enhancing access to records and opportunities.

What do you like best about the product?
Gong makes it incredibly easy to find different topics throughout the conversation by time stamping. The read along transcript is also fantastic.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to see improvements in the search function when looking for conversations.

It allows me to review customer calls as well as best practices for successful calls with other AE's.
