A powerful and focused tool
What do you like best about the product?
I really enjoy the various functions Gong has that enable leaders to quickly find calls, see key insights about those calls, and provide feedback on those calls.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be nice if Gong had more robust tracking of coachings to function as a performance tool beyond just recorded calls.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A main problem our organization is solving with Gong is providing key insight on best practices for peak performers that we would otherwise not have visibility into.

What do you like best about the product?
Gong has been great so far especially for onboarding because you're able to listen to old calls for training purposes.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't see the transcribed text while in full screen.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can always refer back to old calls for help or reference.
Gong is GREAT !!!!!! Very strong tool. 1 thing to improve tough - see video on mobile (Iphone)

Allow all people in the company to take part in the company business. I am a developer, and it helped me a lot.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

A great tool in support of our implementation team.
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to share existing calls with new hires, other team members, and our design team is invaluable. We don't have to worry about slowing down our conversations to ensure we've captured every single note. With Gong, we can summarize after the call and share the recording with our customers and our team members. When a customer tells us about an enhancement they would like to see in the platform, we can tag our design team directly in the call so that they can hear it in the customer's voice.
What do you dislike about the product?
My only recommendation for improvement would be enhancing the search capabilities as it relates to recordings already in the system. Our team will sometimes need to run multiple searches using different phrasing to find the call we are looking for. This is a minor nit to pick, given the immense value Gong has brought to our team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Memorializing client requirements, design enhancements, knowledge transfer to existing and new colleagues. As a smaller company, we've been able to leverage our best recordings as a training tool for new hires.
A great tool for client facing roles
What do you like best about the product?
It's amazing how much Gong can help. I had never been able to review my calls at my last company, and I think this has helped me get up to speed much faster.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that the client/prospect can see that we are recording the call, but I completely understand why this is necessary. I just think it can come off as a little strange that we're recording them. If I were in their shoes, I might feel weird about that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to work on how I pitch the service to prospects. I can watch to see how others do this, but also analyze my own calls to see what needs work and what doesn't.
Great tool for reviewing meetings and demos
What do you like best about the product?
It pulls out key parts of the information and give you access to a full transcript which makes it easily searchable. Also allows you to tag others with questions you may have and they can view that part of the demo to give you an answer.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not much I do not like. I am fairly new to the tool, but its seem very flexible and useful. I think they could do a better job making the comment feature a little simpler and faster for just internal notes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before Gong, all call recordings were difficult and time consuming to review. But not its much faster, and easier to pull out key points of the meeting, and even has suggested followups.

What do you like best about the product?
I love how quickly phone calls are processed. It is very user-friendly and contains some great shortcuts. We use this program in combination with Five9 which makes it a fluid process.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd like to be notified when phone calls are processed, but other than that, I love this program. Especially being able to see the percentage of talk time. I would recommend this for any businesses with high call usage.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I like to go back and review my phone calls for my personal benefit as I continue coaching students, but I know it is a very useful tool for my managers as well. We can both share my calls with colleagues for training purposes as well.
Overall great experience, but the user interface could be improved.

When looking through Gong, I cannot distinguish calls that were voicemails and calls that were actual conversations

Sometimes it takes time to find a type of call, but having the recording quickly after the conversation has been super helpful for self-improvement
Gong is a great sales aide for coaching
What do you like best about the product?
Video recording. It takes all my meetings with clients, records, transcribes and lets us jump into any part of the call based on keywords or topics, eg. setting the next steps. Brilliant.
What do you dislike about the product?
It took a while to get set up. Configuration could have been easier. Also there seems to be no way to manually invite gong to record other meetings eg those set by SDRs
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Training and forecasting. Before, while working remote I had no way to shoe my manager how I work. This way I can link him to a recording, so he can see first hand and give actual feedback on my style
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Ask some other users how they find it. Can anything else hook into Salesforce / Zoom etc as well?
