Gong helps me review my calls and meet the customer exactly where they're at
What do you like best about the product?
Love the transcription feature. I can easily search through what the customer has said, re listen to calls, make sure I'm accurately refelcting the next meeting based on what's most imporant to the customer and nothing gets lost in translation
What do you dislike about the product?
I only dislike that my whole sales team hasn't adopted Gong simply becuse of the lack of google integration
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
No need for excessive note taking, I can be completely present with the customer

What do you like best about the product?
I love how I can record and listen to my calls as well as listen to teammates, as well. We can share our best demos with the team to learn from each other and listen to our own conversations with customers in case certain action items or tidbits were missed. Gong goes as far past to analyze every part of the call to provide insights and suggestions as well! It's a game-changer for how sales reps learn and improve their conversations.
What do you dislike about the product?
I still need to get a grasp on how the pipeline and deal stage components of Gong works. We need to get our Salesforce integration in place to help with this. This would bring the full power of Gong together instead of just recording / listening to calls.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- Reps can go back and listen to their past conversations to identify potential improvements and in case important information was missed
- Gong analyzes every call to provide insights and suggestions. Their technology can tag certain topics and stages of the convo i.e. Pricing, Action Items etc.
- Reps can listen to each other's conversations to learn from each other or ramp up on new products. Very helpful for our Sales team since we recently went through an acquisition and need to learn the new products.
- Very helpful customer support and onboarding team. You can tell Gong is a great, customer-oriented company. I love the content they come out with for sales best practices.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
A pilot was very helpful to prove out the value. There can be some hesitation with reps thinking Gong will turn their management into "big brother" but it's all about how it's positioned for the benefit of the rep to learn from themselves and others while tracking all of their conversations in one place. It's more of learning/optimization tool than a listening tool.

What do you like best about the product?
That I can send snips of my to clients. I can also track how long I talked compared to them, which is helpful as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
As of this moment, nothing. Sometimes the note taker doesn't attach to my calls if I book a call and have it within 24 hours.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Understanding how much I talk compared to my prospects/clients so that I can focus on rambling less. Also, understanding where I could have asked more questions or phrased something in a different way - it's great to look back on those conversations.

Gong made it easy to do things like "shadowing" during pandemics.

I spend lots of time hearing calls. Nothing wrong with the tool. It's awesome!

Gong gives you the ability to build expansive libraries of resources for all levels of professionals which are made profoundly insightful through AI analytics

Sometimes participants don't notice that Gong is recording until late in a meeting, and it can put them on edge

Understanding the different stages of a call, talk times, tone of voice, etc. etc. etc.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that gong will transcribe notes for me so I can be more engaged with customer during our conversations and I am able to listen to my peers calls for learning purposes.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that it does not automatically add to my gong meeting in my calender anymore.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to use gong to tweak my messaging and learn what questions I could have asked that i didnt to uncover more opportunitity.

I really enjoy the User Interface as it is very easy to use. I love the call stats and breakdown.

At this point there isn't anyhting that I dislike on the platform.

That when I started looking at Gong the website doesn't give you pricing and you need to request it.

Team are making much better calls and we are streamlining the way our script is presented.
