Gong: great asynchronous learning tool
What do you like best about the product?
Gong is great for global teams who often want to be able to schedule meetings with one another or schedule times to brief one another on meetings with partners, but cannot easily schedule time in different time zones.
What do you dislike about the product?
I like that Gong automatically records meetings with external partners, but maybe Gong can have an extension in google calendar that allows a user to toggle between having the recording feature on or not.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I think Gong does a good job at what it is, which is being a very effective tool for partnership-building when they require buy-in from different departments...
Great tool to capture notes & also provide quick, asynchronous training to new employees
What do you like best about the product?
Gong has really helped me get a quick view into meetings, calls, etc of my team. I love how I can listen in, provide feedback, & then share my own recordings for training around best practices.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's a lot within the Gong toolkit -- integrations with Salesforce included! I'd love to get more quick training resources pushed to me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Capturing market trends (especially for competitors) and training/onboarding of new employees

Sometimes recording from clients' scheduled call can be quite tricky.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
For sales managers, Gong is very effective for coaching. No need to do shadowing so save your time.
For sales IC, Gong will be good for sales learning, call or conversation intelligence and a note taker.

What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it is to use gong. The transcript is incredibly helpful. Additionally, seeing when the speaker changes is very beneficial. The next speaker fast forward button is a nice addition as well
What do you dislike about the product?
I really like using gong. I don't really have any problems with it except sometimes the sign-in is slow. Other than that, I really like using gong and would highly recomend it

Helping learn more about my organization and shadowing my colleagues. Gong helps new hires get caught up to speed and learn from calls that have transpired before they were hired

Gong is a super helpful tool! It's a game-changer for new hires

What do you like best about the product?
I really like the filtering capabilities (filter by who was on the call, searching for keywords, etc.), the ability to send edited/trimmed down links to my customers and team, being able to tag my team at key moments during a customer call.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't love it when the notetaker announces herself on my calls, but I suppose it is a necessary evil.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I don't have to take as many notes during calls and I can be more engaged to ask better questions. Tagging people at key moments has been helpful for our team as a whole.

Gong is a great tool!
What do you like best about the product?
The transcript that is included with each video. It makes it easy to document your conversations with a customer.
What do you dislike about the product?
The transcript can be a little off sometimes (I'm nitpicking).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The automatic recording and transcript eliminate my need to take a bunch of extra notes on the call.

I love the analytics and the ability to break down calls with searchable tags so that I can listen to other people's calls about specific topics & sort & skip to certain topics in my own calls to review with managers & mentors.

Honestly can't think of anything I dislike about Gong

-Training & onboarding: helping me to learn talk tracks & product knowledge from other reps before jumping on meetings

Functional, intuitive platform that takes out the guess work
What do you like best about the product?
Gong makes it easy to locate & review my past cliet calls. I love how the AI is able to extract the call transcripts, which saves me so much time & effort.
What do you dislike about the product?
the search for calls button needs work, it does not always locate the calls I'm looking for..
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to quickly refer back specific conversations of my calls without having to dig through my notes. It gives me peace of mind knowing all my notes will be there after the call.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Reach out to support if you need help. they are very responsive

I think some of the words it considers filler words are a bit extreme.

What do you like best about the product?
Listening to my colleagues' calls for training purposes. It is so helpful to be able to search specific words in the transcript and read the transcript
What do you dislike about the product?
Understanding which filters I need to use to find the calls I want. There are many options. Not so much of a dislike, but a learning curve.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong has been so helpful for sales training purposes at my new company. It allows me to understand and disect how my colleagues approach certain challenges our clients are facing
