Gong didn’t just improve my sales but it is also my sales coach.
What do you like best about the product?
It understands what i am feeling, also it makes me feel confident, as if I have finally found my virtual coach. It also helps me to improve my communication. It is easy to use with no complications. I would recommend it to beginners, as it allows you to be hands-on and learn easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think that sometimes it shows too much information, and it gets a bit confusing to know what matters and what to be put up. It could be easier to use for new people.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As i am not that tech-savvy , gong really helped me how to make sales conversations better. It corrects my mistakes without make me feel overwhelmed. Also, giving me an idea that what a client really wants to listen by providing me insights.

What do you like best about the product?
Having a centralized place for forecasting, pipeline management, and dashboarding. The forecast boards are user-friendly and offer flexibility, which has helped us streamline our processes and reduce our reliance on spreadsheets. I’m also a big fan of the ability to customize metrics and build dashboards tailored to our specific needs. It’s made it much easier to align our sales and finance teams by giving everyone clear, real-time insights into pipeline and performance.
What do you dislike about the product?
There have been a couple of challenges, such as the discrepancies between metrics due to issues with CRM user mapping, which created some initial frustration and delayed full trust in the data. That was addressed, but it slowed down our forecast implementation initially.
Additionally, certain features could be more flexible, like the inability to delete old lines of business or fully customize forecast boards in terms of metrics and layout. These haven't been deal-breakers, but they’ve required some workarounds on our end. It would also be really helpful if there were a feature to roll up all lines of business on the Trends, Changes, and Accuracy tabs of the Deal Analytics tray. Would love to see the full view of the pipeline and forecast trends.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Improving forecasting accuracy, pipeline visibility, and team alignment. It’s reduced our reliance on spreadsheets by consolidating critical data into one platform, making it easier to track performance and manage the sales process. The ability to customize dashboards and metrics has been invaluable for aligning sales and finance teams, giving everyone clear, actionable insights. Being able to track and sync our BANT sales process right in the Deal Boards to Salesforce has also improved our ability to discern viability of deals within the quarter. The Opportunity Score is helpful, but we use in combination with other metrics as well.
Overall, Gong has helped us make better decisions and operate more efficiently as a revenue team.

Amazing software for call recording and listening
What do you like best about the product?
It automatically records calls and provides transcripts, enabling other person to review conversations, improve performance.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are instances where the Gong bot fails to join calls or records them incorrectly but only happen sometimes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When you want to check for any calls or giving the feedback you can simply go for this tool.

Effortless Setup, Powerful Insights with Room for Enhancement
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate Gong's ease of deployment and integration with Salesforce and Zoom, making it quick to get started. I value the seamless recording and centralization of all customer conversations, enhancing company-wide learning. The analytics feature is outstanding, providing immediate feedback on conversation dynamics and helping improve customer engagement. The visibility it offers into all conversations and its user-friendly nature make it indispensable for our sales team.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find Gong's sales engagement features lacking, which forces us to rely on additional software for taking actions after meetings. If Gong could enhance these capabilities, it would enable us to consolidate more of our tools into a single platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Gong to capture and analyze customer meetings, enabling our team to learn from conversations efficiently. It centralizes conversation data, identifying next steps and improving sales engagement through analytics. This visibility and ease of use benefit our company-wide learning and customer interaction strategies.
Unreal as a rep, the AI is lagging
What do you like best about the product?
Call highlights, deal warnings, and ability to share clips is so easy. Really couldn't do it without Gong. Plus all the different integrations with other tools makes it super seamless.
What do you dislike about the product?
The AI is really bad. "Ask anything" features pulls out the wrong things, from the wrong speakers, and is rarely correct. I typically have to copy paste transcripts into other GPT/Claude-esque tools to get the information I actually want.

Gong makes it easy to take apart different calls, learn from teammates, and quickly review past deals.

What do you like best about the product?
Real time visibility for the entire go to market function into what is happening across the team and our deals. The AI functions are a game changer for productivity. Collaboration across the team is a huge plus. It takes a little getting used to if you are not familiar with these tools. There are some great people who want to help make it work seamlessly for you. I would highly recommend you have a strong revops and CRM expert who understands the intracacies of your GTM function involved while setting up the tool. The implementation can take a while and I would suggest this tool for established teams. There are likely better solutions for start ups.
What do you dislike about the product?
The support is poor and often takes days to get an answer, which is likely irrelevant. The onboarding support was good however the enablement sessions can be very generic and as your use cases grow trying to get support to help tailor gong to what you need can be frsutrating.

Visibility into revenue activity and forecast accuracy.
Reliable for CSMs
What do you like best about the product?
I can immediately go back to a meeting i had and pull the transcript that I can send for a follow up email after customer meetings. It's really great for ensuring that you don't miss anything afterwards in your follow up. It's also great for going back and understanding questions that were asked by customers that you might need to review later.

Nothing to think of now it get's done everything that I need it to do.

Gong Conversation Intelligence is a Game Changer!
What do you like best about the product?
Gong makes analyzing calls and taking notes much easier for our team. The call recording and recap features save a ton of time, cutting down on the need for manual note-taking. The way it summarizes key points and provides insights directly from the interactions is incredibly helpful for coaching and improving. Our product team loves that we can set up trackers and streams so that they can be notified of any product feedback or requests while having the full context of the conversation the comments were made in.
Another standout is the support and responsiveness from the Gong team. We initially worked with Casey, and even after our purchase, she checked in to see how implementation was going and if there was anything she could do to help. It was a really stellar experience.

What do you dislike about the product?
We ran into some issues with rolling out the Forecast feature and getting the deal boards to work as expected. Gong rolls everything up to the account/company level, since our team primarily works at the deal or contact level in HubSpot, it requires some extra steps to structure things in a way that works for us. It would be helpful if Gong offered more flexibility for teams that operate differently than traditional account-based workflows.
While Gong integrates with Hubspot and passes many of the deal/contact/company properties, things such as list memberships and associations don't pass to Gong, so if these are critical for segmenting you may have to use a work around solution.

Gong is helping us improve visibility and organization across our sales processes. It also helps us coach our team effectively by giving us insights into conversations without needing to sit in on every call.
