What do you like best about the product?
Ability to rewatch sales calls, which supports from a training perspective.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing really. It does what I need it to do.

Training is the main benefit.
Easy recording and pretty good transcriptions
What do you like best about the product?
The transcriptions are super helpful, you get it separated by speaker and can even use the search to find what you are looking for. The mail reports also help to have a good overview of what topics are going on with your team.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not much I dislike about it. Perhaps they could offer a guide to set up email notifications upon the first login. I had to manually disable a lot of weekly summaries and other notifications I didn't find helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Gong to improve my team's performance by reviewing their calls with customers. It also helps with escalations, as I can quickly find information from previous discussions.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
As mentioned, the transcription and the search are my most used and appreciated features.

What do you like best about the product?
I work remote and zoom a lot of meetings. Gong is helpful to provide a visual and transcript recording to share with customers and review call.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some customers are uncomfortable being recorded.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can see my colleague's calls and learn from their situations. Also, if I have not heard from a customer in a long time, I can review our last conversation.
Time Saving
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to search words! It saves me time from having to listen to the whole thing or skip through to try to find a specific topic. It is pretty accurate too.
What do you dislike about the product?
The search of words could still be improved. I don't use the deals feature, but that is because I am not in sales. There are many features I don't really use honestly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Is saves me time and helps me organize the calls. I hate trying to find call recordings in the zoom cloud. I have realized I spend too much time in meetings of course.

The recording with timestamps for meeting events is super helpful for review. Also, the transcript is super helpful allowing you to search by word or reference.

The recordings could be higher quality as sometimes it is hard to read the text of the recordings if there was a screen share.

Gong allows me to go back and retrieve any piece of information with relative ease. It saves hours of work if any information is needed from the past call.dfsafasdf

Great tool and very useful if you can afford it.

Ability to review each element of my sales call. I can skip to times when I'm speaking, or when someone else is speaking, and can visually see who is dominating that conversation.

I do think its a bit awkward when someone joins the call and asks why it is being recorded.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ability to essentially go back in time, review my sales call, and pick up follow ups that might have otherwise gone missed. I'm also not constantly taking notes because I know that the call is recorded.

For me, as a Product Manager, it is important to understand customers' problems and the issues they are facing. But it is impossible to participate in all of the calls with clients. The solution is to find important calls via Gong with their amazing wording search in calls, transcript feature, and listen later feature. Very convenient!

In the Transcript feature, it would be great to go to a specific word and start the video there, currently, you have to listen to the whole speech of a specific person.

Helps SDRs better understand customer needs
What do you like best about the product?
Best tools for SDRS to learn what prospects talk about without sitting in every call. The team also uses it for training. Ability to jump between speakers with just a click. Ability to search for certain terms in calls.
What do you dislike about the product?
Transcripts for English speakers with an accent are inaccurate making search function difficult, so not ideal for companies selling to APAC and EMEA. Nothing else.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have been using Gong to record calls and use it for training and call coaching. It also helps to draw insights from the calls and helps us in our sales and marketing strategy. Mapping the calls to an opportunity helps to organize the calls as well.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's an intelligent and robust tool for recording our internal and external calls. The transcripts that it generates are mostly accurate. I love that you can add your comments to the recordings.
