A critical tool for sales
What do you like best about the product?
The recordings have a plethora of metta-data: keywords, speaking blocks, and screen sharing; detailed by participants. It is very easy to find key sections of the call, and even pull out transcribed notes.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although necessary, the need to announce itself is annoying. AI is still a long way off from producing a summarized overview of the call.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong is perfect for ensuring the entire team understands use cases and business flows. Never again will your assessment be questioned, everyone can have the same concensious.

I can't say that I dislike anything so far. It serves the need.

Can't live without Gong
What do you like best about the product?
Gong's product is easy to use and it serves a variety of important use cases for our team. First and foremost, it allows our team to get insight into our pipelines and quickly spot deals that might not be on track so we can respond and get ahead. Second, it allows us to more quickly onboard new employees in customer-facing teams by allowing them to listen to real calls and learn along the way. Lastly, it gives us insight into enablement programs we've launched to ensure new message/collateral/etc. are being used as expected.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main improvements I'd like to see are more integrations with other CRM & CS Tools outside of SF and Gainsight. I know that integrations are frequently being added, so I am hopeful the ones we want (specifically ChurnZero) will come!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The primary problems we are solving for are visibility and accountability. As a remote-first company with a large team, we never had a way to have a holistic view of what our teams were actually doing (or not) and be able to provide guidance, and Gong solves that for us.
Love Gong
What do you like best about the product?
I love the SFDC plugin as all of the info you need on deals is in one spot and if you update in Gong it updates in SFDC. I also love the ability to go back and review previous deals. Another function that is helpful is the deals tab which gives suggestions and lets you know what is missing from a sales standpoint.
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes a long time to review deals as you have to listen to them. What would be a solution is to leverage AI to pull out the most important info from the call into an overview/breakdown page for each call.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Every issue has been resolved and I was not aware we had any issues. As we use gong more it will be helpful in driving financial returns. Business performance has improved slightly, but expect gong will benefit as more time passes.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Just start using it and you will get the benefits right away.
Excellent Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Gong is very intuitive when it comes to daily tasks & making the sales process more efficient. It allows for more focus on the prospect & continues to impress with the smart features throughout the dashboard.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the smaller details based on preference as I continue to work with the tool such as having an additional Notetaker on the call roster can distract attendees at the beginning of the call.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong really helps with the different ratios that are fundamental to a fluid sales conversation. The action items & note-taking are great as well. It allows for increased focus & more strategic approach.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use it on as many calls as possible to maximize the experience.

the note-taking ability helps me stay more present on calls, and being able to go back and ensure I captured all the info communicated has been very valuable.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes Gong will join the call late or sometimes there will be two Gong recorders present on a call. Not a huge issue but can be agrevating.

Ensuring I have all the necessary info from my clients and saving time

Gong is easy to use and helps me focus on my clients rather than needing to balance taking notes & replying.

Sometimes the search functionality could be better but its pretty good as is.

Don't waste time taking notes while on a call, Gong makes it easy to go back to confirm the exact next steps needed.

What do you like best about the product?
The transcripts are the most accurate I've seen. Their deal tracker is extremely helpful to see where you might be dropping the ball. Trackers in general are amazing to follow and see how often competitors come up and if you're winning against them or not.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far it's exceeded my expectations so there are not really any negatives that come to mind. Make sure old calls from previous CRM get uploaded correctly into Gong can be an issue. Support did take a while to help, but ultimately they pulled through.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Are we firm and consistent in scheduling the next steps. Are we building enough value on our calls and are we uncovering pain in our discovery calls. Also, which competitors are we coming up against the most.

What do you like best about the product?
Gong is extremely helpful in my everyday workflow. It keeps track of everything regarding my client and team calls and holds me accountable for follow-up and keeping up with my work.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't love how it doesn't understand to join my calls when I put a last-minute call on my calendar. I wish that it would automatically join in to any Zoom/Google Meet I create no matter what the time frame.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong helps me keep all the information spoken on my calls in one place. I love being able to quickly run through the transcript and reading the emails Gong sends with the follow-up items from the call.

What do you like best about the product?
When I'm on a call with an existing or prospective customer, Gong makes it easy for me to 100% focus on the customer instead of splitting my brain between listening and taking notes. I really like the feature that let's you playback a single or group of attendees when reviewing
What do you dislike about the product?
Gong doesn't transcribe all English accents with the same level of quality and isn't able to work with non-English languages. It would be really helpful to have a "switch" when we could indicate a non-English language
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to revisit a meeting so that I haven't missed any important customer details. I also like the ability to search based on "trigger" words, and the statistics that let me know if I've given my client time enough time to speak if I speak too long, and the like.
