Must Have Sales Tech Stack
What do you like best about the product?
Love the collaborative feedback we can implement as part of our sales review. Gives us an opportunity to go back to details that were initially overlooked during the conversation. Invaluable sales tool that I'd recommend adding to any tech stack
What do you dislike about the product?
Takes a bit of time for call records to wrap up but this will be resolved as time progresses with the technology.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allows for a better collaborative coaching effort from management.

What do you like best about the product?
I'm on our sales team and love the workflow. It automatically jumps onto calls and gathers the data so that I can jump into the platform to review feedback.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that Gong shows up as another caller - even though it is renamed. Getting Gong on a call when you are back to back and using the same dial in is also tricky. You can use waiting rooms or mute it, but it's not ideal.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sales insight, better understanding of trends, visibility into talk time, indicators of success / likelihood to close. If I forget to write notes or submit notes, it lets me go back to calls.

What do you like best about the product?
Gong connects our CSMs to sales demos to ensure that we have a complete picture of the client and the sales process. I review sales calls all the time
What do you dislike about the product?
Text recognition isn't very accurate. We have a very niche product and work in a niche market, so I can understand why the speech recognition isn't always accurate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong is extremely useful for allowing our CSMs to view/shadow sales demos after the deals are converted. It allows us to move into a customer implementation with a complete picture of the client and the sale.
Put that pen down & focus on the call!
What do you like best about the product?
Great search functionality for things like "follow up" and other key phrases that apply to our product. It's all color coded (which was a fantastic addition) and extremely easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's a bit difficult to get gong onto the call for a last minute call, which is something I've had happen a couple of times. The recording loads in fine with enough notice, but sometimes clients grab me at the very last minute.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My client calls have 100% of my focus. I'm not worried about missing out on an important detail or follow up item, because I'll be able to go back and double check on the gong platform.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use this as an honest feedback tool. You can say "I don't dominate conversations with my clients" all you want, but the gong data will not lie

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to quickly review calls with the team is great. Being able to address improvements and recognize wins in near real time is excellent

The speech analytics are a bit wonky at times

We're able to train new reps quicker and recognize wins
It has been extremely useful in both a learning environment as well as a review tool.
What do you like best about the product?
One of the best things about gong is the ability to add comments and notes at particular points in the call. It is also helpful to request feedback after calls.

Nothing at the moment. Not all of the features available were easily understood during the initial implementation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As I mentioned earlier, the problem we solve is the ability to share what works and what doesn't in a call. When I review a call, I often pick up on critical details that I originally missed.
Great BI tool for calls
What do you like best about the product?
Adjustable playback speed and notes! Also love seeing the audio tracks for each caller.

Nothing major. I think that the platform is really helpful.

What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about Gong is that it allows me to fully focus on a conversation with out having to worry about taking notes on the conversation. This focus lets me make sure I'm getting the most out of every call and provides a great way for me to get coaching with my team mates
What do you dislike about the product?
The only flaw with Gong is that occasionally it wont track who is talking when. For me this is not a huge deal though

I like the customization of what topics you touched on per demo.
What do you dislike about the product?
Complexity of getting clients on. I feel that needing to have client call in and then have access to the call does make it kinda weird and long for them. I feel that it would be much better if all they had to do was get on the call with you and the call was being recorded rather than having to hang up and call in.

Improving the quality of each demo.

Make it easier for people to get on.

Being able to see who is talking, and what each person is talking about makes it easy to navigate the important parts of calls.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the discussion topics are way off but usually they do a good job of picking up what is being discussed

Recommendations to others considering the product:
If your looking for a call coaching tool this is it. It is also a great way for you to go back into a call and see what was said and highlight things that went well or poorly.
I use it even on the SDR side of things in order to get a better understanding of what I need to say when attempting to get other folks from that organization on a demo. I would highly recommend the tool and I use it daily. It integrates with a variety of technologies as well which allows a variety of users to use it.
