Gong - best tool for a sales person!
What do you like best about the product?
That we can go back to our sales call and review them. I find this very helpful when writing notes on the account, or prepping before a next steps call. Also great for training

Nothing really, maybe all the emails from Gong.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Finding the true pain points in potential customers. Listening to junior Sales Reps and helping then fine-tune their skills

What do you like best about the product?
It's great the Gong splits the call up based on who's speaking/what topics are being discussed. Often times I have to go back and listen to calls for additional notes and gong makes it easy to figure out where I should jump to.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing to really dislike about it in full transparency. It does exactly what you expect it to do.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Coaching for the sales team - managers review calls during every 1:1. They leave notes, highlight points to go over and offer feedback. It is one of our core channels for feedback/training.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're looking for sales enablement/training tools, gong should definitely be on the list of vendors to look into.

What do you like best about the product?
As an AE who has been in seat for about 6 months, learning is crucial for me. I lean on more senior reps and my managers to listen to my calls but they can't always sit in.
It's nice to have them be able to jump into my calls and leave feedback.

What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the speech to text functionality. It leaves a lot to be desired, but it's understandably a hard function to build.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong helps sales reps improve by being able to listen to their own calls and receive feedback from peers
Valuable but expensive
What do you like best about the product?
Gong makes doing call reviews with your team so much easier and more efficient. You can search for key phrases in calls and measure how your reps are behaving compared to best practices. You can also listen to calls at 2x speed so you save time. Finally, all calls are recorded and you can share with prospects, which has saved me from having to re-demo my prospects.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's really expensive. If your team doesn't do call reviews and your managers don't invest time in listening to how reps are performing on the phone and how to get better, it's probably not worth it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My team uses Gong for call reviews. We analyze how reps are performing at a high level (how much time spent talking, how many "closed" vs. "open-ended" questions are asked in a sales process, etc). Then, we dive deeper - looking at how reps handle certain objections in a given opportunity to uncover where things went awry in a call or sales process. It's so valuable and helps managers give more actionable, specific feedback.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Trial this software for call reviews. Spend the time putting in the settings that are relevant to your sales process, you will see a lot of value.

Gong is easy to share calls, tag snippets, and review analytics.

The Gong app does not allow you to view shared screens being presented.

Good Sales Tool
What do you like best about the product?
I like the fact that Gong records our calls in an unobtrusive way. It allows me to 'rewind' and see what happens with a deal, where we went wrong, what info we didn't get or question we didn't ask. I can comment reps on certain calls with feedback and tips. Vice versa, it also allows me to share out questions or talk tracks that are working and really helps new reps ramp faster by listening to more experienced reps.
What do you dislike about the product?
Their app needs work. I do the majority of my call listening on mobile while in transit and it has crashed or malfunctioned multiple times. Other than that there's really not much to dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use this as a sales team to reduce the time to ramp new reps and for coaching in deals.

What do you like best about the product?
Gong allows me to actively listen to prospects and their questions while not worrying about note taking and forgetting details later. The action items provided at the end of the calls are also great for reminders about what needs to happen post call.
What do you dislike about the product?
Occasionally there will be technical issues where a call will not record despite being set up to record.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm constantly learning from calls and developing my sales skills. I can learn from myself and others on my team about what worked well and what didn't to constantly improve.
Great way to see what you're doing well, and where you can improve immediately
What do you like best about the product?
I love the action item reminders after the call - gives you a brief rundown of the things you said you would do for a client. Also, the statistics around monologues, interactivity, and customer story length are really valuable to see. Sharing calls (or parts of calls) with prospects is really easy - just click a button and it emails it to your colleagues or prospects.
What do you dislike about the product?
Signing on from the homepage launches a second page - kind of annoying. Talk to text is good but not exact.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In sales, we tend to talk A LOT about the product, so knowing just how much we're talking (especially uninterrupted) is a big eye-opener. Helps refocus on the customer, show progress over time, show team progress from a high-level (especially helpful in seeing who closes the most VS who talks the most).
My experience with Gong has been impeccable to learning a better sales process.

Being able to listen to calls sped up. This is a valuable tool that saves me time when reviewing calls.

The short calls are not recorded. The other thing I dislike is that the app is not as usable as the website.

Being able to listen to performing sales individuals and replicate and bottle what tools are useful.

Get it!
I use this for ADP and it helps me advance as a worker.

I like to be able to reflect on my past phone calls.

The constant emails from gong. Some of these emails are helpful, but most of them are unnecessary.
