What do you like best about the product?
Highly intuitive to use - super helpful for coaching and call reviews, great service from the team and they are easy to do business with.
What do you dislike about the product?
Library section and call snippets still need some work from desktop flow to app flow and it can sometimes be hard to get into app without having to verify and sign in every time. perhaps more to do with our sso.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
systematized structured coaching - measurable behaviour changes, can be more surgical in coaching sessions, reps can also listen nack to themselves to prep for next call or for retroactive coaching and listen to other top performer calls.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Buy this - changes the coaching and selling motions over time and helps to pinpoint where coaching is needed
Gong for Scaling
What do you like best about the product?
We love the ability to be able to get great insight on all our reps calls, positioning of products and challenges in the market. As a small team with limited management resources, it has been great for us to be able to scale our feedback and coaching programs to our young sales reps.
What do you dislike about the product?
The least helpful aspect of Gong has been benchmarking performance outside of the organization. We find our best practices are considerably different from the benchmarks Gong recommends.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong is helping me provide meaningful feedback to my team and freeing up time to focus my energy on different projects, or organize my time among my reps.
Great platform with great value
What do you like best about the product?
I love how detailed the tool is, always crystal clear audio and video. I love the 2x speed, the ability to listen to one party at a time.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is slightly cluttered, the UI is .slightly hard to use, I wish the main dashboard were slightly more simplistic
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have been able to jump-start my training by listening to my colleagues in Gong. I have been able to go back to review what I said on the phone with my customers!
Easy To Use And Intuitive
What do you like best about the product?
I like that it recognizes key words and helps provide short cuts to when I am discussing a key phrase.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that there was a way I could cut the call and delete anything that is unnecessary. Like one time, I forgot to end a call and it started to record a private discussion during a 1:1 I had with a colleague and I had to delete the entire video just to be safe.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Not too many problems at all.
Gong is almost perfect!
What do you like best about the product?
Gong is a huge help to my day-to-day sales growth and has saved me time and help me self-improve my discovery, demo, and pricing/proposal calls. By allowing me to easily search through calls by key-word and share calls with clients my sales process has become more refined and easier to provide resources and added value to prospects.
What do you dislike about the product?
Gong at times does not auto-attach itself to my GoToMeeting meaning that if I don't record the cal in another way then I may lose it and that is a big risk when I need to send demo recordings and review calls.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong solves the problem of having to listen to entire recording calls to find pieces of the call that are important for me to review or that I might have forgotten. The keyword search is awesome and lets me go the exact part of the call I was looking for in seconds and also provides the full transcript of what the customer said!

Gong is the best tool I've used while onboarding at a new job, I can listen to calls my colleagues made in the past and bring myself up to speed on accounts I'll be working on.
What do you dislike about the product?
The organization can be difficult, when I search for an account no calls show up.

Helps with training and bringing new reps up to speed.

Great product for both individual and team learning, as well as to share useful information with the business and prepare for follow up calls.

Quicker Sales Onboarding
Pointed learning (for instance work speaker/listening ration)
Handy to go back and relisten to calls if you need to prep (more powerful than notes)

Skeptical at first, solid believer now
What do you like best about the product?
There is SO MUCH to like about this program! Metrics (for example, the percentage of time each person talked), easy search capabilities to zero in on a specific comment, accurate transcription, being able to send clips of the call through email, being able to pull up calls with the iphone app, etc......
What do you dislike about the product?
No downsides to using gong, but wish the 'auto record' feature was a bit more timely. Sometimes, it will not jump on the call until 5-10 minutes in, and suddenly you hear "this call may be recorded.....". It's a disruptive entrance.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Learned to talk less, listen more, and prove I'm doing that :-)

Gong is Game Changer
What do you like best about the product?
Say goodbye note taking and letting clients put words in your mouth during negotiations. Gong's platform allows me to refer to all my VC calls, listen to them sped up, see how much I'm talking vs the client. So happy to work for an org that invests in tools like this one.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing, but if I had to say one thing the search feature is not as robust as I'd like.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sharing calls with my manager for feedback, insights to how much I'm talking vs the client talking. Trying to read chicken scratch notes I scribble during a call.

Amazing New Business Tool
What do you like best about the product?
I can get the absolute most out of every call and every follow up by analyzing it post-call and honing in on the pain points expressed by the prospect.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I won't be able to record all of my calls.
Wish there was a way to filter "only customer voices" so that i can quickly run through what the customer has expressed.

Note-Taking is only ever short-hand and not the best way to spend a sales demo. Gong let's you focus on the demonstration itself while giving you the ability to loop back later
