What do you like best about the product?
ability to go from one speaker to the next, see topics of discussion through the call
What do you dislike about the product?
The transcribing tool is not very good..
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Training, watching myself, my gestures, my ability to interact with conversees, etc.

Extremely useful for sales training and for call recap and follow up - makes it easier to concentrate on calls and relisten after

I really love Gong and using it to get call feedback from my team

What do you like best about the product?
I like how I can tag my manager and coworkers to receive more feedback on specific parts of the call. I also really like that Gong transcribes my call. I like that you can see who is talking at what times and who is talking the most. I also like how Gong sends you an email reminding you of the action items that were mentioned on the call so you don't forget something that you said you would do. I also like how Gong uses machine learning to pick up on trends in the call. Gong has been great for internal reporting purposes.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish I could export the call to an audio file. I don't like how the sharing link expires. I know you can extend this but I feel like it should never expire for other people in the company. I also wish it was less money. My company is decently large and is having trouble finding the budget for our entire sales and services teams.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A lot of reporting in terms of common calls or topics covered. It has also made me away of my crutch words and how to organize my calls better. It has also allowed me to stop taking as many notes because I know that Gong is recording what my next steps are

If your team actively reviews calls and wants to improve success efficiency Gong is right for you!

What do you like best about the product?
Search & filtering on recorded sales calls
What do you dislike about the product?
Hard to fully dial in custom filters to get results we need.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We need more visibility into trends within our pipeline, so we use Gong to record our sales calls & our product marketing team reviews those calls each week. We consolidate trends & present them to the field & leadership teams.

Lots of benefits - being more in touch with prospect needs, hearing unfiltered "what I want to achieve" statements, checking to see if messaging is resonating, knowing what product features we should put in our roadmap.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Lean on their Customer Success team, they have lots of great ideas.

What do you like best about the product?
The statistics tool is very helpful for quick summaries of individual calls, as well as overcall summary stats!
What do you dislike about the product?
I got everything out of Gong that I personally needed in order to benefit from all of the tools given
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong helps me go back and review major points that I may have missed on the call because of focusing on holding the conversations, asking the necessary questions, etc. It also has allowed me to learn better ways to objection handles when I had missed certain opportunities to do so on calls.

What do you like best about the product?
That I have the ability to always go back and listen to past calls. It helps me out a lot since by the time i put my notes in at the end of the day, i dont always remember every part of the call.
What do you dislike about the product?
That is signs out way to often. I am constantly needing to resign in and it does not remember on the computer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
keeping track of my calls and activity with a vendor

What do you like best about the product?
Being able to review sales calls I have has been super helpful. It's also great to have the ability to listen to calls from other partners in my organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
Seeing myself fumble over a sales pitch.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Making my sales pitch more clear and to the point. I realized that I can cut out a lot of the fluff I sometimes fall into presenting.

Great Platform To Review & Improve On Calls

What do you like best about the product?
I really enjoy that Gong give you a complete review of your call. You are able to see what percentage each person spoke throughout the call, what words you used the most and any follow up you mentioned on the call. It's a great way to ensure you stay on task and have a clear follow up after the call.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think of anything I do not like!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to look back on calls and provide feedback and coaching to our sales team more easily. We also have a full report on the call and a way to easily access any previous call history. It is also nice to get a log of all previous gong calls the morning of a call.

What do you like best about the product?
All of my calls through Aircall and demos through Zoom push over to Gong automatically- this makes it really easy to review my own calls and to get feedback from my managers.
What do you dislike about the product?
Overall, it is a very intuitive and easy to use system! No major dislikes

I can more effectively analyze my calls to get better quicker and to better manager my pipeline.

Easy to use call recorder and transcriber

What do you like best about the product?
It's easy! I don't have to do anything outside of my normal workflow to have my calls recorded and transcribed. It's also very simple and straightforward to share recorded calls both with customers external to my organization, and with internal folks who need to be in the know.
What do you dislike about the product?
The transcriptions are sometimes off. I did have issues with the recorder automatically joining some meetings, but I think that was due to an admin error on our side.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am not in sales, so I don't use the coaching features, but it is a great tool for recording and distributing implementation calls to customers. I also use it as a method to share calls with internal team members for training purposes.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're planning on using the transcription feature, make sure to test it out with multiple people for accuracy. Sometimes it has issues with accents.
