Great service. But not as great as SalesLoft
What do you like best about the product?
Great way to conduct meetings and have all notes recorded. Allows you to focus on listening to the prospect
What do you dislike about the product?
No 1 sided call recording. you dont get alerted when someone doesnt agree to being recorded. So you think you dont need to take notes, the call ends up not being recorded, and then youre stuck with no call notes and no recording from gong.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Calls are now being recorded eliminating the need for manual notes. you can then share the recording with prospects/clients afterwards.
Gong is great for improving your pitch!
What do you like best about the product?
I like the fact that I can see how much of the conversation was spent with me talking vs the prospect. This has helped me to focus on talking less and asking the right questions to create opportunities to listen more!
What do you dislike about the product?
There is an email for every single call! Sometimes this can clog up your inbox, however, you can always add a filter to divert to a separate folder.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have been able to focus on asking more open-ended discovery questions, which has led to more fruitful conversations with prospects, better engagement and ultimately higher conversion.
gong makes it easy to train other members of the team
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of use and sharing capabilities with other team members. It makes it simple to train and learn from other employees especially during the onboarding process. I also like that it happens automatically and I don't have to upload anything. I also like that you can comment on calls to provide feedback.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it was a little more organized. I am often overwhelmed with the how much information is available.

It is easy to train new employees as well as leave feedback for them.

Gong is awesome for training and onboarding new employees.

As a new sales rep ramping, this gives me a chance to break down what successful reps are doing.

I believe the tool is really powerful but without full adoption, it is hard to get the most out of it.

Ramping up new reps as well as getting feedbacks.

Can continually improve and focus on key development points as an individual contributor. Easier to ramp new starters through having all calls recorded. Easier to share best practice amongst the team.

How easy it is to use trackers to find out how much reps are talking about certain topics or using weak language

The transcripts are often incorrect and out of order

Time management and getting analytics more easily with Gong. Reps are also able to access all of their own data

What do you like best about the product?
Gong is great for remembering the things that usually slip through the cracks. It's helpful to always have a data breakdown to analyze the topics and tone of the calls, and to be able to see how they stack up to the rest of the team.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were a few other individual metrics or further help to implement the feedback Gong gives you on your calls.

Being able to quickly debrief between teams and colleagues helps us keep things transparent and share quicker feedback.
I was sceptical, but I'm a believer now.

The way it disects and labels calls. It makes it easier for me to find critical points in a sales call.

Integrations are slightly lacking. I dont get every call, just ones through out screen share.

Ita become a must have for me. I dont think I can operate without it now. I will take it with me to my next organization.
Useful training tool!
What do you like best about the product?
I love that you can search by key word and caller. This makes finding specific helpful calls super easy. The calls are also organized by caller so it's easy to find when you are speaking or the person on the other line. The organization is pretty easy to follow, espeically in the listening screen.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only part that doesn't work great is when it tries to categorize your talking points. For example, it would think we were talking about discovery, but it was actually about timing. The other things that doesn't work great is the search. Sometimes it would not bring up a call or company or person that I was searching for, but if I searched it another way I could find it. I wish the search was more intuitive in this way.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can go back and listen to my own calls and also my peers which helps me improve my skills tremendously. I am able to hear mistakes ive made and pinpoint exactly how and where i need to improve my talking points.

If you're looking for a training tool when talking on phones, definitely take a look at Gong!

What do you like best about the product?
Not only I can re-listen to my calls, but also I can gain insights, go back to crucial moments with tags and read transcript. Very useful is the latest Salesforce integration so I can track my deals within Gong.

Transcripts could be improved, however I am pleased with the frequency of the updates
