Who doesn't like to save time?

What do you like best about the product?
All the AI features that quantify and gamify KPIs ands stats for team members. Team members are naturally motivated to improve their performance both individually and to improve their standing in the stack rank for teams. It's much easier to tag and share feedback between team members and managers to focus on in 1:1s and for comparison. We also love the Library feature we we can store calls in the library to improve and speed up ramp time for team members.
What do you dislike about the product?
The monitor feature is a bit laggy so if I'm sitting right next to a rep, it's not effective to listen in live.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
General conversational stats like patience and keywords help us to hone in on and pay attention to have to our conversations. The AI and reporting takes the time out of manually skimming through calls and actually quantifies stats and trends. And now we can use these indicators to coach to improve success even further. It's nice to have a starting place to focus, and then have the ability to choose what to optimize next!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Go for it! You'll be surprised and will welcome the time it can save you if you manage a team.

Plus, it adds natural gamification and stack ranking for your team to help them grow and learn for themselves. This makes adoption, which is usually pretty tough, much less of an issue and ramp time is minimal since they mostly just have to keep making calls and Gong does most of the rest!

The fact that managers and team members can review calls and stats via the app, making this a true "on-the-go" solution means we can all utilize "dead time" like commuting to add insights and learn more about our daily conversations is a huge win on its own.

What do you like best about the product?
Love the transcription and recording capabilities. Makes it easy to track conversation topics before my follow up calls.
What do you dislike about the product?
Searching through transcriptions is really strong, but searching for within my accounts is weaker
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Don't have to take extensive notes during calls. Also easy to knowledge-share among the team.

What do you like best about the product?
I like how gong offers transcripts of calls, average call time, and just being able to keep track of all the calls that I have throughout my day. Gong also offers very fast uploads so that I'm able to see right away. Gong also provides feedback on how to improve.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't much I dislike to be honest.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Improving my sales strategies and weakpoints in my calls.

Good App to help you focus on the call and not taking notes

What do you like best about the product?
This application really helps you focus on the call and not just taking notes. It is easy to go back and listen to the call at faster speeds if needed and transcribes the meeting.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the meeting invite system integrated with Zoom a bit easier. I have to send a unique link and not the simple Zoom integration link and tools I am used to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to focus on customer calls easier as well as go back and relisten to calls at a faster speed to refresh my memory. Also I enjoy the transcribing and I like that I can share the call with others in the company.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Once the whole team uses it and is used to it, there is no going back. Calls are very easy to share with others and study for training.

Easy to use, great automation, acceptable quality

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to utilize and implement into a calendar and I enjoy being able to set this up and forget about it. Not worrying whether the call will be recorded or not gives a peace of mind. Not having complicated jargon or tools within Gong itself adds the ease of use.
What do you dislike about the product?
The quality is by far the most sub-par part of Gong. It is definitely useable in the current state, however, not having a clear crisp view of the screen can come back to bite if the call needs to be reviewed (which very often it does). This requires our team to grab as many screenshots as possible during the call so we can supplement the call with clear pictures. If the quality were to improve, this would by far be my favorite tool to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our use case for Gong is a bit different than for Sales. We use Gong to capture technical issues our customers may be facing so we can later submit bug reports to our development team. Being able to capture and replicate the issue on the recording is vital to diagnosing and resolving many bugs in development.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are looking for a tool to sit quietly in the background and reliably record both the audio and visual, then this is the perfect tool for you. If you are looking for 4k video quality, you won't find that here (yet), but it is honestly acceptable where it's at at the moment.

What do you like best about the product?
Definitely the transcription and ability to search for calls based on keyword. It makes it easier than ever to look back and find the signal amongst the noise.
What do you dislike about the product?
At this moment, I can't think of any downfalls as it's access to information/ a more streamlined way of FINDING information that I didn't have before.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our sales team is able to systematically improve by giving their peers and leadership access to their calls, while on the product team we can quickly find conversations relating to specific problems/product areas we are focusing on.

What do you like best about the product?
I love how Gong starts recording any call we initiate with Zoom so there is no friction in setup or forgetting to "hit record".

Being able to share the recordings is awesome.

The ability to cut to certain parts of the call or listen to specific people only is rad.

Having the ability to leave comments and set conversation parameters is very useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't dislike anything really. I do wish some new internal dashboard features were a little more baked before going GA which can cause the app to be sluggish at times but that is a minor thing.

The main benefit of our organization using Gong is that provides an unfiltered view into sales and service conversations. We can see where there are skill gaps that may exist with each team member, measure fif training is effective, what type of objections are coming up, hear questions and feedback we may not have anticipated, and ultimately if we are solving the problems that we commit to.
