Phenomenal tool to get visibility on customer interactions!

What do you like best about the product?
Now that I have Gong automatically joining every google hangout I run, I have a living record of all my meetings. It enables me to re-listen to my calls and take supplemental notes regarding items I might have missed during the call. That way, I come to follow-up calls more prepared and am able to address every client's concern. This is key in customer success and ensuring my clients are happy.
What do you dislike about the product?
The call transcriptions are sometimes incorrect but, in general, these are slight errors that do not impact the analysis of the call.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When inheriting a new account, I have benefited greatly from Gong because I have the ability to listen to previous conversations prior to them being mine to understand the use case and health of the account. This ensures that my clients do not have to repeat previous conversations and that each meeting is a good use of everyone's time.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you struggle with capturing key points during meetings or coaching without live examples, Gong is a great solution that will close that gap for you and your organization.

What do you like best about the product?
Gong's AI is the best I have ever seen. I love that I can look up an individual word on a call and skip right to that point. Plus, I also love the stats they give you as far as filler words and phrases I use and how many times I've used them. Gong is my favorite coach.
What do you dislike about the product?
Only thing I wish they had was a way to easily get meeting links to customers after I have a meeting. Would be neat if it could connect to my email and with a click of a button copy any meeting recording instead of going through the gong app, clicking on the call, clicking get meeting link, copy link, and head back to my email.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong has brought accountability, coaching, and collaboration to our sales team. Before we worked in silos and had no real way of recording and sharing our success and failures. Gong has now made this possible.

What do you like best about the product?
I love gong in that it helps me know what I have to work on, is really easy to use, and manually adds my calls. I like the playback speeds, the organization of the platform, and being able to write comments.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike when the person I'm calling is blocked out and I can't hear them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My own sales techniques, allowing myself to listen to calls to take notes and know what to tell the Account Executive. The biggest benefit I think is being able to have the call saved so it is easy to find.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The advice I would have is making the calls upload faster. This might be tough to do, but sometimes calls take longer than others to upload.

A new way to listen

What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful part of Gong is the ability to share recordings over the web. Gone are the days of trying to compress long audio recordings or Mp4's to email them over to clients!
What do you dislike about the product?
Gong is still being developed into a tier 1 piece of software. It can be a little difficult to soak in everything as it stands because there is so much you can do, and can be hard to find where to do it. As time goes on though I am confident their UI will continue to improve!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have a problem with rambling sometimes, so Gong points that out to me and helps me improve my phone game!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Don't be afraid to dive into the analytics side of this tool, there is some really great information to be gleaned them!

An easy way to review and share calls

What do you like best about the product?
Gong makes it easy to review calls and share parts of it with others in the company. I like the automated stats that show which participant talked more and it's impressive how you can set specific filters and searches for key terms for your business.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's happened where Gong came into the call a few minutes late, but that hasn't happened much and not for a while.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're using Zoom for our calls, and once Gong is set up, everything is automated. Whenever I set up a call Gong will be there. Not having to worry about hitting record in a call is great.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Its' a great service to keep track of your calls and look for trends on what is discussed and how concerns are resolved.

What do you like best about the product?
It removes the concern about getting all of the important details down during a call--I know that I can go back and fill in the gaps later. This allows me to focus on having impactful conversations with my clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, I feel like I get emailed too many updates. "Your call is coming up," "Your call has been recorded," "Your call has been analyzed"
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows me to have better conversations with clients and gives me the ability to fill in gaps I may have missed during a call. I also love that I can go back and listen to calls that a salesperson previously had with a customer to ensure we're aligned on objectives. It's also helpful to get feedback from my manager to improve my conversations.
I can see where it would also be helpful for training purposes. As new members join the team, they can go back and listen to customer calls to understand how we frame conversations.

So helpful and saves time

What do you like best about the product?
I love that I no longer have the "oh no! I forgot to hit record" feeling 5 minutes into a meeting. The ability to share relevant portions of conversations with my team is extremely useful. The transcript feature helps me completely my post-call meeting notes more quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
The transcript feature is great, but there could definitely be some improvements with its accuracy. The timing of the "this call may be recorded" voiceover sometimes interrupts the initial pleasantries with the client - it would be great if it was triggered earlier, or could wait until there's no one talking.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong can help solve the problem of possible miscommunication - both internally and with the client. The ability to seamlessly track customer interactions with my team and save time on meeting recaps is very valuable. Gong also helps with onboarding new hires, as they are able to review past calls and I can hand pick which ones I feel are most valuable.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Encourage its use as an onboarding tool for new hires - or even training for existing hires. It's a valuable resource and saves time.

What do you like best about the product?
Listening to my prior calls before the next one to get into sync with that customer again. I tend to miss much more than I expect in my note-taking so everything is there for me.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much though I sometimes forget to end the Zoom call so it would be nice if Gong could know when a call is over and the customer drops so it then drops the recording.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Quality control on my selling skills is a big one. Listening and observing my habits to then determine what I can improve upon.
Listening - I miss things when I am taking notes so going back to watch and listen again opens up a new perspective.

Amazing platform for Call Analysis

What do you like best about the product?
I love the details we get of each and every call. Also there is no limit to how much we can learn from other in my company by searching them, whether its our managers, coaches or peers.

Sometime Gong take wrong info in transcript.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
By searching others, you can learn how others are doing things differently. This help increase my perspective.

This platform each a coaches job by giving detailed analysis. To peers, it will give abundance of good and quality call to listen to and improve. For an organization, this will help Head of operations to pick people with high quality and reward based on that.

Great tool to enhance and develop sales skills!

What do you like best about the product?
The UI of Gong is very intuitive and easy to use. Easy to send recordings to colleagues and prospects while also learning from the detailed stats of the call. I also enjoy using the call stats that show my % of talking vs. the prospect helping me get better for my future calls. I also enjoy using it as a note-taking tool that has improved my notes when I pass information back to my colleagues.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it is difficult to find and search old calls. Only happens sometimes but most of the time it searches no problem. Takes some time for GOng to analyze the call which could be quicker.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Some benefits include my own development as a salesperson as well as helping me take more time to listen to the prospect and be able to go back to take better notes after the call.

Gong is a great tool for any sales team trying to coach and have transparency within the organization.
