What do you like best about the product?
I love that it transcribes the calls, which truly allows me to be in the moment with prospects instead of having to juggle the conversation and take notes simultaneously. It's also a great tool for new hires, which eliminates the need to shadow a colleague. But instead, go through the database of calls and intentionally listen to calls on a particular topic.
What do you dislike about the product?
Accuracy of the transcription - it's not always 100% accurate. Which is expected, but tightening the gap of that would be ideal. Also, the delay between when the call takes place and uploads is cumbersome, in terms of crafting a follow-up and next steps.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

- Gong helps cultivate a culture of feedback. It embraces that by tagging colleagues & managers to listen to the call then give feedback on any point in the call
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's a great tool to help cultivate a database of best practices on calls. Use this to listen to top performers' calls to get ideas on how to elevate your cold call game. In addition, I encourage using it to onboard new hires for training as it's a valuable resource to help with ramping up.

Where to start?!? This is the answer to a sales teams prayers!

What do you like best about the product?
I love how i can focus on my conversation with the client and not having to struggle trying to take notes and actively listen. If I missed something during the call I can later go back and fill in the blanks instead of trying to guess. It's helped me become aware of how I do not always following the 80/20 rule. It pulls keywords and even takes me to that part of the call when I click on it, making it convenient to not have to search through the call.
What do you dislike about the product?
Only downfall is really a user error and that is when I send the wrong link to a customer, but the positive side is they cannot access our version without having a user login.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've been able to walk into this new role with the confidence knowing that even tho I do not have my manager on the call in real time. I love how they can go back and give me tips and pointers on any part of my call... or I can email to them and proactively ask for help where I'm hitting road blocks.
One of the biggest benefits I've seen that's unique to the software is that when I forward the call, per request of the prospect, I can actually see when they open the call and are viewing it, IN REAL TIME!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Think about the big picture and how it will help everyone in the org, from the BDR/sales team to management and even trainers to new hire trainees. This is really a tool to help everyone collaborate better in the organization utilizing the software.

What do you like best about the product?
Gong has made my life easier in multiple ways. The transcription feature has removed the need for note taking while speaking during calls and focus my conversations on the customer. It seamlessly organizes topics, points of interest and action items, giving me instant access to any crucial information instead of having to go back and listen to entire calls or scramble through my notes.

I also love how Gong helped my identify my strengths and weaknesses on my calls, such as talk ratios, number of questions asked, and even small things like pauses which can really influence the flow of the conversation.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's difficult to think of something I dislike about using this tool, but sometimes the transcripts are not accurate and show random words, even though I felt they sounded pretty clear on the call. I believe this feature will improve overtime as the AI develops.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm definitely saving a lot more time, without having to go back and listen to entire calls and have quick access to the specific information I'm looking fore.

I am also having much more fluid conversations without the need for note taking.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure you take the time to go through all the self training resources and leverage their customer success team to make the best use of the tool.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the data analytics provided for each call. The ability to see how you engage with your customers and prospects really helps you to hone in on what is really important and what could be cut out.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am new to Gong and haven't found anything that I dislike enough to mention here.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When you have the ability to review calls minutes after they have taken place you can learn from the call while it is still fresh on your mind. I love how it breaks the call into categories and shows you what percentage of the time you speak vs your customers or prospects. That is valuable information that we just haven't had until now.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is the data tool you will love to have as a Sales Professional! Easy to use and the insights it provides are extremely valuable for improving one's sales skills!

What do you like best about the product?
I like the transcript feature the best. This helps me to hone in on a particular portion of the conversation that I'm looking for without having to take the time to listen to it. Many clients request that I send the call to them as well. This helps them train their teams without me having to repeat and do it again.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's nothing I dislike. The builders of Gong have thought of everything.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I do a lot of follow-up with clients in result of calls with them. Gong allows me to ensure that my reachbacks are thorough. Gong also helps me know what has been discussed on other calls, including those with other colleagues.

Excellent platform with unreal capabilities that allow sales reps to perfect their craft

What do you like best about the product?
Gong is a tremendous asset for sales organizations who are looking to coach their reps to infinity and beyond... There are so many resources within the application that allow your reps to identify patterns on their own calls; listen to their colleague's best practices and learn from them, and overall improve their presence on the phone.

Upsides include detailed insights, the ability to share either whole calls or small snippets of calls, requesting feedback from peers and managers, as well as insights into your own statistics.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think there should be an option to compare your own stats against your teams in an anonymous fashion. Not sure if this is something a company or individuals can already adjust or not. Of course, the competitive aspect of sales is important but it would be helpful to know how you're performing against your team without necessarily seeing names (my opinion)!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm solving how to improve my conversation flow; reduce filler words like 'um' and 'like'; identify patterns and trends to improve on; identify my patience, interactivity, and talk ratios on calls.

I have already seen an improvement in the aforementioned areas of improvement, as well as my tonality, pace of speaking, my flow of questioning, and being able to ask more relevant questions.

What do you like best about the product?
Recording functionality and the possibility to analyze results after the meeting.
I like the possibility to share the records with the internal group of users.
I like the possibility to search by text frames. This is awesome!
Amazing integration with Zoom!
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the parsing of voice record into text is not excellent. That's something that makes sense to improve.
The design of UI can be better as for me. Too old as for me and make sense to invest a bit in material design or something like that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have the possibility to switched back to sensitive call and review it in details. It helps technically to solve a customer issue.
Nothing another to add.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try it for demo first. Do a couple of calls with clients.
Try to analyze the calls. Switch bach to call after some time and listen to the call.
You will see the possibility to view the call in person. It will be easy to find needed information. Who talks about what, I think that's the best in this tool.
Also, try to share the call with some member of your organization. He will get a benefit from it. From my practice, I solved a lot of customer issues based on call recording after the meeting. Try to integrate it with another product like a zoom or hangouts. This will help you to understand functionality better. This is my recommendation.

Amazing coaching tool

What do you like best about the product?
Easy searching functionality to find calls and meetings, I love the statistics inside the tool. It's built to provide sales managers/enablement/etc. with a ton of very easy-to-use coaching options.
What do you dislike about the product?
Gong creates so much awesome content & best practices, I wish we could have more meetings with our success managers where they share all of these best practices. Also, it's super expensive (but necessary)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We really like the new scorecards which tie in to the overall coaching aspect that's biggest for me and our organization. Gong makes it very easy to find calls and review them.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to go back and confirm the notes you took were correct, also hear the tonality of a call from months ago.

The search function, to find a call from you or a college
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solving the miscommunication between notes and reality. To be able to review a call from a month ago the same day as an upcoming call, is invaluable. It has allowed me to re-cap a call better than i ever have and the prospect really appreciates the fact that you can repeat back to them on another call in their own words and terms.

Well worth it for your sales and management team to get better and be more focused during calls.

What do you like best about the product?
The searchability of key moments in the call. Gong does a great job of breaking down what words you are saying, the cadence of your speech, how long you pause, when key moments are brought up as well as many other little pieces like the ratio of your conversation, how many times you say things like umm, uh, and other words like that.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that the transcription of the call isn't all that accurate at times. For instance, when I was attempting to read the transcripts of a call from one of my SDR's the back and forth between the two people was absolutely hilarious to read but fortunately was not the real conversation. It could have been caused by a poor connection on the call but either way, it was easy to simply check the call its self to hear the true conversation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Working on sales talk tracks. I have seen a benefit in fixing what they call patience which is the pause between them ending talking and my beginning. Also, all of the features that I had said above come in handy to help me iron down my pitch, make sure I am discussing key points and to see what the top salespeople in my company are doing so I can do my best to copy them and improve my own conversation and sales tactics to match theirs.

If it fits your pain then it is a great solution.
