Fine tuning sales skills
What do you like best about the product?
Using Gong provides not only an easy way for your peers and managers to give feedback on a call but also gives you the ability to fine-tune your sales skills on your own time with talk time tracking.
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes a good amount of time to have the call uploaded
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bringing the talk ratio to a more favorable number.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It takes a bit to get used to but is a great tool once you get it down.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to setup notifications of the types of calls we want to gather insights from based on topics of the conversation. also the simplified way of how it creates a timeline for all the calls to be found and the contact attempts to close it give great coaching insights to level set and uplevel sales reps.
What do you dislike about the product?
sometimes it takes longer to fix glitches and there is no "last week" to filter calls from.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
solving how long a rep takes to explain topics so we can coach to it.

Gong is awesome! It is a great tool that I use very regularly for educational purpouses.
What do you like best about the product?
I love that you can tag a specific spot during a call where you would like someone to review it.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is a bit disorganized and I would love if there was a way where I could somehow organize my calls every day besides just seeing a list of calls ive gotten each day.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I get to re listen to some of my sales calls and my boss points out directly where I made the mistake. It is super helpful.

Ability to quickly listen to calls with the fast speed playback. Or quickly skim interesting topics

Sometimes the mobile app can be buggy when changing speeds and moving to different parts of the recording.

Ensuring I have insight into customer requests and concerns.
Making being a manger Easy
What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can playback the speed of the call - it can be intimidating to have 6+ phone calls that are over 40 minutes, but playing them at 1.25 or 1.5 speed still allows me to hear what I'm looking for during our call reviews.
What do you dislike about the product?
The "jump to next speaker" doesn't work well when I have multiple people in a conference room - the system can't always tell people apart.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Onboarding is a lot easier - it's nice to save good examples of objection handling/driving next steps/etc to showcase. We do call shadowing, but these examples make it more holistic when you don't always get someone else on the phone with you.

If you're recording phone calls already, this would help to round out your suite of call coaching!

What do you like best about the product?
It has helped me grow in my sales career tremendously by being able to look back at calls and critique myself and my peers.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is so much to customize and search by, it can be a bit overwhelming but I'd prefer to have the options than to not.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have learned what weak language I use often and it has helped me to monitor and reduce.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is a great tool to grow from listening back to calls. You can hear your commonly used language and learn what does and does not sound god.
Not sure how I survived without Gong for so long
What do you like best about the product?
I use Gong for almost every customer call I have which is super helpful for not only myself but to also share with my clients. On days/weeks that my calendar is packed, sometimes it's hard to remember everything that was discussed or if I missed important notes and by using gong I can go back and relisten to the call to make sure I captured everything accurately. I also share calls with my SE's and customer success team for when they are going through deployment they can hear previous conversations / expectations that were set with the client to make sure we are providing them the best possible experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish I could search by participant name in the search bar instead of having to search by company name. I have a lot of calls across different groups with the same customer so sometimes I have to shuffle through a lot of calls to find the one I'm looking to listen to. The transcript isn't as accurate which would be nice so I don't have to listen to the call all the way through and could do a CTRL+F to find the topic I am looking for but it's not always transcribed accurately.

Gong - Sales Development Representative
What do you like best about the product?
I love how Gong helps not only with aiding us as Sales Development Representatives in trainings, but also in accountability.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, I don't dislike anything really. The user mainframe could be a little more navigable but besides that, overall great product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our CRM had some glitches, and as a result, my effort with one specific potential customer was lost. Another Salesman stumbled onto the already hot opportunity fit, and as a result got them closed in record time, however my information was no where to be found. Gong had recorded my original calls to the office, and as a result, I was granted to revenue because of Gong's recording capability.
Great analysis tools
What do you like best about the product?
I love how you can search for keywords that were said in different calls. It allows me to create reports and analyze what types of conversations we are having on an organizational level.
What do you dislike about the product?
The lag from the call being completed to call being transcribed and analyzed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When conversations come up about features that customers are requesting, I am able to search for the conversations that that feature is brought up in. It allows me to come to the table with data as to how this impacts our customers.
