Love gong!
What do you like best about the product?
I like the fact it's user friendly and can easily access the areas need be. Also gives statistics.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the fact that there's always error when trying to load specific areas. It's also extremely expensive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Training sales reps on calls - making them get better and better by giving feedback and pointers on how to close sales.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's worth it. Helps you to be on the inside of sales reps calls and give them feedback to make them better and better. Helps increase their funnel and their close rates.

I like the transcription, very helpful to skim calls.

Minor, but it would be nice to be able to search the transcript for a call.

I'm ablet o look back on calls we had with partners and see what was said and agreed to.

Easy Zoom and VoIP call recording - great voice to text with intelligent tagging of all calls based on initial tagging rules

The Tagging rules are the most powerful part of the program - this does require a lot of planning and setup to really get mileage out of this feature
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to review sales and service calls with prospects/customers and see what some of the major themes are in these calls. We can coach up all reps based on stats and make business decisions based on the frequency of certain terms that come up during discussions.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Put the time in and this tool will help you monitor all the conversations your team is having with your customers - it's management time well spent.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that I can go back almost immediately after recording a Zoom call, and that I can see what I did well / didn't do well. The fact that it also transcribes is fantastic! There's a lot to like, so it's not easy to choose just one thing, but I also love the fact that feedback can be easily shared and received, and the feedback/comments tool jumps right to the correct spot in the call.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am not the biggest fan of the typos / miscommunication that sometimes happens in the transcribe feature. Other than that, there's not much to dislike about Gong. My whole team has found it incredibly helpful. Sometimes I also wish that it would buffer a little more quickly -- but that's easily solved by being able to watch at faster speed (1.75x) to save time. :)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Currently, I find Gong most useful to help me solve how to be a better communicator on my sessions. Going in to review a call on Gong is super helpful to seeing how I communicate, how the session went, and how I can improve for next time. The fact that the recording comes through pretty quickly is very helpful - I often find myself reviewing at least one of my calls by the end of the day, and having a queue of others to review in the future. It's reliable, and I can go in whenever I have a free chunk of time to improve my skills. I love how easy to navigate Gong is also!
My current flow through the workday is a handful of calls to be on, and then reviewing my own calls (and others' calls) to see where improvements can be made. Because of this, it's easy for me to just log-in to Gong when I have some open time, and feel like I'm ALWAYS improving, because Gong is giving me access to see my own calls. Not only has this helped with training, but also just constant skill growth/ up-leveling. :)

If you're considering using Gong, I highly recommend making it accessible to your whole team to share feedback with each other. I think the collaborative / feedback aspect is such a strong benefit of Gong. We grow together and improve together as a team!

Transcripts are great to quickly find specific phrases in calls.

The transcriptions are not 100% as of yet, sometimes they don't make sense. Overall, they are mostly accurate.

As I'm new to my role, I've been using Gong to watch back demos and customer calls, allowing me to get up to speed more quickly than I would have done.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you currently have no way to easily review past calls, I believe Gong is the best solution on the market.

What do you like best about the product?
The stats they provide are amazing. Interactivity, patience, longest monologue, etc. It really makes sales folk reflect on their calls. They also mention optimum values which gives users an indicator of where they lack and what they need to do to improve their pitch.
Gong also shows which of your deals/prospects are actually interacting with you- reading emails, etc. This is amazing because it helps me concentrate on prospects that are actually interested and help tremendously with forecasting.

There's not a lot to dislike. The user experience can be a little difficult to work around but once you've used it a couple of times you won't find it hard to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a salesperson, I used to go on and one and barely allowed my prospect to speak. With the stats from Gong, I've made my calls more conversational. Thanks to Gong I've made it more of a 2-way dialogue than a monologue.
I also look at the deals section to understand which of my accounts are active which helps me forecast much more accurately!

Recommendations to others considering the product:
I am not involved with the budgets/finance side of things and I've heard that it is a bit pricy. But if you can afford it, go for it. You will definitely not regret it.
Also, make sure you/your sales team use it actively. It's one of those tools that can be super effective if used correctly but will not yield any results if not used well.

Gong is great. It allows me to learn from the top AE's at my company through their recorded calls
What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can easily view call recordings from other sales reps at my company. This allows me to learn from them without having to sit on every single one of their calls in real-time.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is tough to set up for each call. There always is confusion from the customer when they join a call that we're recording for Gong.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem I've seen is that it has been tough to get others to record their calls, it's been tough to build a rich library of recorded calls at my company. The benefits that I've realized include being able to listen to others' talk tracks to help my sales cycles.

Great for reviewing calls for training and post call note taking. Very strong transcript feature which is helpful for searching through calls for specific areas of conversation

Very occasionally calls do not record but this is rare.

Conversation items that get missed at point in time can be picked up post call (Especially where taking notes impacts concentration during call)

Gong is great - super convenient for call recording that works seamlessly with Zoom

Timelines of calls is awesome and intuitive making it easy to find the parts of the call you wanted to go over again.
What do you dislike about the product?
The call recording quality isn't the best - Zoom local recording is much better but harder to share with Team. Sometimes I can't read the text on the screenshares which makes troubleshooting issues after the call difficult.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Passing feedback from Customers directly to all relevant Team Members easily - its really nice to easily share the snippets of conversation about how the customer feels to other relevant Team Members instead of relaying your interpretation of what they said which doesn't always have the correct context.
