Great way to on-board new reps, share what is working, and get immediate feedback.
What do you like best about the product?
I love the ability to search for buzz words and deal flow. Also, the deal board is very helpful to see momemtum for all the reps. The Library is extremely helpful to on-board new reps.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the Salesforce feed was updated more real-time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
On boarding reps faster, getting all reps outcomes from the same level playing field. Also to get a voice to marketing and help them visualize and see what the prospects and customers are saying.

What do you like best about the product?
Transcriptions. Quick Dashboard Analytics, easy search for calls and zooms. Email tracking.
What do you dislike about the product?
Cannot find any reports right now. More metrics and analytics. The amount of time spent with a client - call, email, and Zoom.

Colleague accountability. Coaching opportunities. Customer accountability.

Solid sales tool, some enablement required
What do you like best about the product?
Ability to review zoom calls and fast forward to when specific people talk. Also like the stats about talk time per person, patience, etc

There is so much other analysis but the tool didn’t adequately walk me through how to use and understand that analysis.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Getting notes I didn’t catch the first time. Also gaining understanding of if I’m talking too much, too little, the right amount, ami being patient, etc
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It’s a great platform, go for it... but make sure to have a plan for enabling your reps on how to get the full value from it.

What do you like best about the product?
In my role as VP Growth, it is very convenient to listen back to the calls of the Sales reps from the company. For example, I use the feature that I can search for words in conversations, to search for names of competitors, and listen how the sales reps discuss these with the prospects. This really helps me to really understand our customers.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far I didn't dislike anything. But it is a challenge to set it all up, my advice would be to assign one responsible person within the department or company to get all out of Gong.

In my role, I learn a lot about how the Sales rep engages with the prospects.

Gong does all of the heavy lifting for me. They send me post call reports that are easy to follow and provide excellent analysis.

I feel like there are still many features to learn and use.

Gong helps me better prepare for my next call by providing valuable insights around the balance of talk time between me and my potential customer.
A mirror for my sales technique and process
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to review my calls and see the areas in which I can improve or alter. Additional the ability to review my peer's calls and pull from their process, verbiage, and technique.
What do you dislike about the product?
The voice to text capability needs improvement. when reviewing the text from calls, it's hard to discern what is being said at times. this then requires an audio/video review that is otherwise more time-intensive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to fine-tune my technique and process, as well as being able to hear and see what is and is not working for my peers. Gong has removed the barrier of learning from your peers that is indicative of remote sales roles.
A great way to capture the content of the meeting with accuracy without distractions during it.
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to review what was actually said in the meeting and capture points that I initially missed. Or getting to sit on a meeting that you did not have the chance to sit in.
What do you dislike about the product?
Video/audio quality and the delay in the video availability. It's also hard to find some things intuitively, such as participants' emails.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to share meetings in full context rather than just reviewing or sending someone meeting minutes that may or may not be accurate.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's certainly worthwhile. There are the obvious use-cases, but over time you can see how it pays dividends in many other locations.
Great tool for recapping sales calls easily
What do you like best about the product?
I like the way Gong creates a transcript of each call, makes it very easy to go through the conversation without having to listen to the call. Listening to calls can be time consuming but reading through the convo is very quick.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the tips after each call seem to be not very useful, like interactivity for example. Sometimes the customer monopolizes time, sometimes they don't talk at all. Averages are useful at times but they are not everything.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Recording calls and going through them in the transcript, recapping calls. Makes it very easy to find a specific section in the call, whereas rewinding or forwarding the audio.
Effective, useful & easy to navigate
What do you like best about the product?
I like that all correspondence is captured and organized in one place. From a CSM perspective, this is really useful when joining new accounts/ reviewing & keeping track of client interactions & being able to deliver strategic and great client service.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the platform works really well - there is room for slight improvement in terms of the search functionality (could be a little more comprehensive when using the search bar). I didn't receive formal training (which isn't really necessary because the platform is easy to use), but pop up prompts could be helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have recently joined my company and Gong has made remote training incredibly seamless because listening to calls has been a really effective way to learn. Additionally, as I receive my book of clients, I have been able to get up to scratch really easily, independently and proactively.
