What do you dislike about the product?
Having to ask prospects to accept the "notetaker" 'person' on calls if they don't do it automatically and explain what it is or face not having the call be recorded (not even sure if this can be changed due to privacy laws)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A more positive culture of sharing best practices and being able to easily give constructive feedback on each call
Swift analysis of calls - saving a lot of time
Being able to see what we're doing wrong and improve that on each every call

Great for new employees and seasoned reps to develop their discovery and sales process
What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can review other colleagues calls (especially calls that closed won) to see the reasons prospects are interested and the progression of the call (Call to action, next steps) Closing, etc. What works and what needs improvement.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are lots of tabs and areas you can go to-in the tool... I am not sure where I should be focusing my time and energy on.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Refining the sales process, and getting better at discovery, and process improvement
Overall Powerful Platform
What do you like best about the product?
Really great to be able to collaboratively hear what other people in my org are doing on their calls. I find the ability to skip between speakers really useful as a way to scan through a call. The percentage breakdown of speaking time is an excellent tool that is also really helpful. I enjoy the listing out it does of each participant in the call in addition to the percentage above of time talking. The tying together of all of this to the sales process and being able to see every call each step through the buying process is really cool. As a newer employee, I know that what really matters is did the business close. The pitch might have been tight, but if it didn't close, it doesn't always matter. The ability to track sales calls through the process and know if they have closed is really awesome. I also like the transcript feature. The AI generated transcript allows you to skip to a particular point of time where perhaps a particular phrase or keyword was said without having to actually skip the video 15sec at a time. I would highly recommend any new seller to an organization spend some time and lisetning to their peers working with customer.
What do you dislike about the product?
On some of the recordings, I have watched the audio can be very choppy. It doesn't seem to be an issue with the user, but some sort of glitch with the recording feature. There have been some recordings that have been much better too. Some of the AI features are a little spotty, I think this is to be expected. Originally during training, we were shown how it will be able to decipher different phases of the call. The actual in the field accuracy of this seems to be varied.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Transparency in the sales process of what sellers are actually saying is a huge benefit of this product. An under-appreciated feature is the ability of new sellers to the company to hear what some of your top performers, and even weaker performers are saying and doing on their calls. You have to have a culture that is okay with being this transparent, but I can say I have really valued it.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would make sure that if you invest in this tool that it be a mandatory add to every sales call. If you allow calls to take place outside this environment, you will miss out on important data and feedback to help your sales team.
A great tool to work with
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use. It is a self-explanatory tool that helps in making the job easier
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the translation is not up to mark and it can be improved upon
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With the emails being sent to the client, I can quickly verify on Gong if I am missing out on something or not.
Great teaching tool
What do you like best about the product?
Gong is an extremely helpful tool for teaching and sharing feedback. I love being able to share and annotate snippets and timestamps on calls to help teams improve their performance on calls. The reporting tools are also really useful to see how I stack up to my team in terms of call cadence, performance and management.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that Gong had more customization on call-by-call reporting (such as identifying action items and keywords, admittedly this may just be my inexperience with the tool speaking) and stronger transcription.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In just watching a few of my own calls, I've identified opportunities to improve performance by focusing more on diction and speaking cadence. With help from my management team, I've also been able to identify strengths and opportunities to improve the value of calls for customers as well.
Ideal product for management or anyone who couldn't make the call/demo
What do you like best about the product?
I love the speaker timeline that shows who is speaking and for how long. It allows one to immediately forward to when certain people are speaking and many other valuable capabilities such as specific topics.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have a big dislike. I would like Gong to automatically record my meetings or be in my Google Meeting and have a drop-down to record my meeting in Gong directly from the meeting app. I think I have to go to Gong first. It's not painful, but it is another step and reducing the steps to use Gong would be beneficial.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I love the transcript portion of the tool. That definitely helps me. One particular benefit with the transcript is the ability to copy and paste statements that people have made.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's a great tool. I recommend using it, especially when you cannot join a meeting but want to see it and provide feedback to others on the call. It's a lot more than just watching a recording.
I'm new to Gong but I am already reaping the benefits. Amazing tool!
What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy the fact that I have a personal coach.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's not much I dislike... Perhaps just getting used to new tech will take some time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm becoming a better presenter and closer.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
No recommendations. A great product!
Fantastic for sales training
What do you like best about the product?
I can go into data to see one salesperson's performance, a select group, or the team as a whole. While I am training new salespeople, I can check their calls for guidance on what to work on in the next training session.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's so complex; I don't think I am even scratching the surface on all the features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's easy to find gaps in new hires' skills once they get on the phones, and saves time because I don't need to meet with sales managers to get updates on new hires' progress. Being able to target training on actual skill gaps means that the training is highly relevant. In training, we listen to actual calls and analyze them.
Recommending Gong to a friend. There are varied collections of short video clips to learn from.
What do you like best about the product?
The library section is loaded with free session video clips
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing specific to dislike. Nothing!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When ideas are shared and discussed, the intellect catches fire and that gives an explicit sense of direction to follow. A calrity of purpose is achieved.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take it seriously!
Gong is helful to go back and review calls and notes
What do you like best about the product?
the metrics that are included are very helpful
What do you dislike about the product?
Need to *remember* to pause when people are late
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The onyl problem we had that was fixed that our call recorded a clients' internal call without us present
